No, McDonald's does not fry their fries in the same oil as chicken. The oil used for frying chicken is a different type of oil than the oil used for frying fries.
You can keep oil in a deep fryer for a long time if you take good care of it. Change the oil regularly and filter it to remove any impurities. If you keep the oil clean and fresh, it will last for many months.
French fry oil can be reused multiple times. However, it will start to break down after a few uses and will need to be replaced.
A deep fryer can be a great addition to your kitchen, especially if you enjoy fried foods. They can be a bit pricey, however, so you'll want to weigh the pros and cons before making a purchase. On the plus side, deep fryers can make it easier to achieve consistent results when frying foods. They also usually come with features like timers and temperature controls, which can be helpful. And, of course, they're just fun to use! On the downside, deep fryers can be a bit of a pain to clean. They're also not

This air fryer exceeded my expectations since I was purchasing one for the first time. This air fryer produces extremely crispy fries, and the leftover oil is at the bottom, far from the food. The bottom tray and basket are of higher quality than many others on the market. The necessity to calculate the temperature and time to fry food is the only issue I have with this air fryer. When I used store-bought frozen fries and followed the oven instructions on my first attempt, the fries turned out to be scorched and extremely hard. The second time was flawless and identical to restaurant-bought food. The air fryer is undoubtedly a wise investment. âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

The seller or possibly the manufacturer claims that it reaches 375 degrees Fahrenheit in the FAQ section. I read in at least a few reviews that it only reaches 350. I purchased this with a 5-inch-long deep fryer temperature gauge and a clip that perfectly fits. the fryer reached 375 degrees, if not a little bit more (analog gauge). The temperature dropped to 350 after adding 16 ounces of frozen chedder bites, but it quickly rose back to 375 as they neared completion of cooking (chedder bites take about 1min45sec-2min15sec) I selected this product due to its simplicity. Seriously, plug it in and it will instantly reach the only temperature I would ever use. I oversee the kitchen, and the fryers are all set to 375 degrees (thats the highest setting). Additionally, this fryer holds 6 cups of oil, preventing temperature drops as much as the other fryers I considered. Additionally, there is enough space for the oil to not have even dabbed the edge. Where I work, an appetizer is 8 oz. Since nothing really tastes as good if you have to reheat in the microwave, I LOVE this bucket because it allows me to quickly grab some frozen ched bites, chicken tenders, or whatever and cook it later when I get hungry.

All is well thus far. It's been about a week since I've had this, and I really like it. I reviewed the complaints regarding the shut-off detents. So far, I've found that this mechanism functions properly. There are just two knobs on this device. One each for time and heat. Not even fancy computerized knobs can compare to them. It's a fantastic little appliance for preparing meals for a single or two people. The cuisine actually does turn out to be extremely delicious. I don't know why they refer to it as a fryer. I'd describe it as a little convection oven. The meal is evenly heated all around by the warm air this machine blows. This speeds up the cooking process and helps the food brown evenly. To prevent fat from collecting at the bottom of the meat while it is being cooked, there is a drip pan. This works especially well for cooking bacon, in my opinion. I usually wind up with a layer of bacon fat on the cook top when I fried bacon. With this machine, though, the fat drains away and the bacon tastes excellent for some reason. Reheating meals is another fantastic application. I dislike microwaves, and turning on my oven to heat an 8 oz. steak is a time- and energy-waster. And for some reason, the convection heating in this oven improves the flavor of the reheated meal. So, yeah, I heartily recommend getting one of these air fryers, namely this one. Cleaning up in the dishwasher is simple. Also, Amazon Prime was $40 for this item!Update: I prepared some bacon for us to eat on when the family was visiting on Christmas morning. I ended up cooking four or five packs of bacon in this device since everyone liked it so much. I left it running for nearly two hours nonstop. worked flawlessly. Like I stated, so far, so good.

I've been reading about air fryers for about a year now, but never seriously considered one because I never thought fried food could taste as good unless it's dipped in a big old tub of hot oil, I was wrong. When I had a chance to order this Ninja Max Air Fryer I decided to go for it and give it a try. The day it arrived I went through the manual and the cookbook (one of those manuals with about 20 recipes, not an actual cookbook), and after finding some room on our countertop, decided to give it a quick try with something we had in the freezer. We were both hungry for a snack, so decided on some tater tots as the initial experiment. I read that some adjustments may have to be made on time and temp, so set it on max crisp and 10 minutes. You can slide the bucket out at any time to check on things, and it stops the clock and all until you slide it back in, where it picks up right where you left off. After several minutes and several in/outs of the bucket, they were done. I'm a pretty decent cook, and have cooked tater tots in the oven and in the fryer (hot oil), and I'll be perfectly honest, they never tasted as good as when I cooked them in this air fryer. They were spot on crunchy, and still moist potato inside. I was pretty amazed, but not sold on one trial. Next day, decided to cook some frozen fries and Tyson Southern Style battered chicken. Again, not being sure of time and temps just yet, I continually checked them until done (cooked them separately) (cooked them separately). Once again, they were just as good, if not better then when cooked in the oven or hot oil fryer. Not only were they cooked much faster than any ways I've cooked them previously, but the only mess from cooking both was just having to wipe out the bucket. No hot oil to deal with after cooling, no pots, baking pans, or utensils to have to clean, just the bucket. Now I'm starting to rethink the whole air fryer thing. We've cooked several other frozen foods in this (fried okra, different fries, onion rings, etc.) and have used the bake cycle as well for some chicken. Every single thing we cooked in it has tasted great, and saved us from the usual cleanup. There are several other settings on here as well that we have not tried yet. I'm getting around to the air roast, air broil, and dehydrate for jerky, and can't wait to see how they work, but can't review them yet. I've since checked out online other recipes for air fryers, and there is a million to try. Also, Ninja has a lot of recipes on their website, but the site isn't actually updated for this specific model with recipes, although the other air fryer recipes I'm sure will work. This is an amazing machine. I'm old school, and love cooking, and NEVER thought this could cook anything as well as my old tried and true methods, but I'll be the first to admit when I'm wrong. I still have a lot to learn about the many uses of this air fryer, as there seems to be so many ways to use it, and recipes to try. But, just from the times I have used it, I'm amazed at how well it cooks, and extremely pleased with how few items I have to clean up after I'm done. I'm absolutely positive this will get a lot of use in my kitchen as time goes on and I get more familiar with it. I've set my calendar for 60 days from today to update this review and how it's going two months from now. Overall, we found this to be an excellent cooking machine, very easy to clean, does have some accessories that look like they would be handy to have on hand (not included), and a great addition to our kitchen. Well worth the money.

Please accept my heartfelt gratitude for all of your assistance in responding to my inquiry regarding the Presto FryDaddy, "Can you deep fried bacon with this?"Surprisingly, the responses showed that no one had truly made an effort. I'm here to tell you, bacon lovers, that it produces the most incredible, crispy bacon ever! The Presto BaconDaddy is what they ought to call it! The Baconator, how about it? How on earth could you NOT use this for baconating, is all I'm trying to say.Once you've put the slices into the oil, I highly advise using a splatter guard. Other than that, I discovered that the maximum number of thickly sliced pieces should be limited to three at a time, as four MAY cause the oil to overflow. I used canola oil. Experience, indeed. However, the experimentation was tasty and more than useful! It should be noted that because the fryer is so small and lacks a rack, the bacon will come out looking like its previous owner's curly-cue tail, however, unless you are a culinary stylist, it will still be the tastiest bacon ever! So, my fellow bacon lovers, this is the holy grail of pig strips for you!How can you own this and not have tried, is the simple response to all questions about whether or not the Presto FryDaddy can be used to cook bacon.Bacon lovers, hashtag

A serving of fries or shrimp for two people, or two largish bone-in chicken thighs (for comparison), can be cooked in the Chefman compact air fryer, which is smaller and lighter than others. A wonderful option if you have a small family or are living alone and lack the storage room for those large units. It is simple to use. You clean the basket thoroughly the first time, put the plate in place, add your food, preheat the machine, and then run it while the food is in it using the timer. I added two flour-and-spice-dredged chicken thighs and set the temperature to 380 F. The result of my 30-minute cooking is seen in the photo. Perfect. They resembled fried chicken, right? Not quite. Skin was quite sharp. I should have lightly sprinkled oil on the chicken because I could taste flour in it (vaguely.) Excellent and juicy steak was served.Small format is a pro. Low in weightCons: Can only fit one or two people's food.Positive overall. a good cook.

My children suffer from severe food allergies and issues. We always eat at home, and I always make everything from scratch, to deal with all the foods they are unable to consume. I consequently spend all my time in the kitchen. I bought a T-fal FR8000 EZ Clean 3.5 Liter Oil Capacity Stainless Steel Deep Fryer with Professional Immersion Heating Element and Unique Filtration System to deep fry things like French fries, chicken, bread, and taco shells because I firmly believe in using the right tool for the job whenever possible. The old version of the same fryer that I had bought in 2005 and was worn out was replaced by this one.The T-Fal deep fryer is a rectangular box with handles on either side. WHAT'S IN THE BOX: The oil and the detachable heating element are stored in a fairly large rectangular stainless steel "box". The "box" over the heating element is designed to fit a submersible stainless steel basket. The temperature-controlling knobs and electrical components are housed in a plastic unit to which the heating element is attached. Under the stainless steel box, there is a plastic holding container that serves as a drawer for the oil after it has been filtered. There is also a detachable cord and instructions.WHAT I LIKE: Everything on this fryer can be washed in the dishwasher except the heating unit component (and the cord). This is fantastic for maintaining the cleanliness of the fryer! In the twenty-first century, everything ought to be dishwasher-safe, but far too few things are. Fantastic work, T-Fal!Now, the oil storage container made of plastic detaches (the lid lifts off). This is unquestionably an improvement over the previous model I owned. When I stored some filtered coconut oil in the plastic holding container during the winter and it solidified, I realized my previous one's lid was not removable. I couldn't get the oil out until the summer. Being that coconut oil is the healthiest frying oil and the only one I use, I am overjoyed to see this design change. Now I can pop off the lid and scrape the solidified coconut oil into the fryer from the plastic holding container. I appreciate the design change because it is much more hygienic to store oil in a closed container rather than the fryer "box" itself. This fryer has a large capacity for both food and oil. I have no trouble frying a batch of French fries equal to 2 potatoes.I adore the detachable drip basket that can be hung to the side. It has a similar appearance and functionality to those used in restaurants. As a result, I don't put as much oil on my plates along with the food. This fryer only requires a small amount of oil to fill it. It only took one and a half large bottles of coconut oil that I purchased from Costco to fill the fryer. With this fryer, I can store the oil and reuse it repeatedly, allowing me to use the healthiest oil without feeling like I've overspent. Now the dial's temperature readings are permanently etched into the plastic. The numbers on my previous fryer were simply painted on, and within the first few months of ownership, they came off. I'm relieved that T-Fal addressed this problem in their most recent fryer model. The actual frying area is not very deep, which I don't like. I recently attempted to use a mold I own to fry homemade tortillas into taco shells. I didn't have enough oil to submerge the whole thing in three inches, so I had to fry one side first, then the other. Honestly, I believe that this fryer could be deeper. This appliance would receive five stars if the frying area had a few more inches of depth.Too easily, the cord comes out of the fryer. Although it is a pain in the neck, I suppose it is a safety feature.I reviewed the T-fal FR8000 EZ Clean 3.5 Liter Oil Capacity Stainless Steel Deep Fryer with Professional Immersion Heating Element on my own initiative and paid full price for it. Overall, I believe it to be a fantastic fryer and would strongly suggest it.

Because of the vicious 1-star reviews, I had second thoughts about purchasing this item. After using this appliance for a few weeks, I can only surmise that either a significant number of defective items were distributed (very unusual for Cuisinart), or that some consumers had unreasonable expectations of a toaster oven/air fryer. As a kitchen appliance, toaster ovens have been a constant in my life, so I've had to become familiar with all of their peculiarities. It has fewer than many other ones I've owned. However, it cooks quickly. very quickly This one cooks in a lot less time than predicted, so you need to watch it closely. With my prior one, you had to raise the temperature by around 25 degrees higher than you thought was necessary. As we understand more about how it functions, that ought to alter. The manual's and recipe book's suggested times and temperatures seem to be best faded back a little. It has a lot of strength. So far, chicken wing drumettes have been my favorite dish. My renowned buffalo wings are always deep-fried in peanut oil, then covered with sauce and dried briefly in the oven. They truly appear as though I just took them out of the fryer after cooking them for 10 minutes at 400 degrees on air-fry, flipping them over, and another 10 minutes of cooking. They are even better, according to my wife. Traitor!Compared to any toaster oven I've ever used, garlic toast and English muffins seem to crisp up quicker and keep interior moisture better. Shrimp and frozen French fries are simple to prepare. I was certain that she would make some boring fresh zucchini wedges tonight, but they were fantastic. To cut a long tale short, we have so far loved it and are eager to continue experimenting with it. Over the years, we've had tremendous success with Cuisinart equipment, and the few occasions we've had issues, their customer care representatives have gone above and beyond to assist us and have always treated us fairly.I adore it, and I would buy it again if it exploded tomorrow.

Even though I've only used it once, I can already attest that it lives up to its promises. Functions good and is easy. I chose this brand based on the reviews I read; it seemed that regardless of the model, most people adored their Hamilton Beach fryer. This model's nice touch feature is why I chose it. In the illustration, there was a stainless unit with "hot surface" stamped into the sides that was certainly a better form for my space and was undoubtedly more attractive. I believe the cool touch feature's idiot-proofing merits the visual trade-off (at least first order idiot-proof).If I could offer the development team at HB any feedback, it would be this: 1. This device should have come with an audible timer. I'm a little perplexed by this since there is a less expensive HB unit with that capability. 2. I would have gladly spent a little more for a frying container with a stronger gauge. Even if we decided against using the heavier gauge metal, we should perhaps round the edges somewhat or give them a more complete finish. It just affects hand washing, but when you wash the item, it does feel cheap.Again, I've only used it once so far, but I was quite pleased with how my morning potatoes turned out. awaiting the opportunity to prepare some sweet potato fries to go with the barbeque burgers. This is a significant improvement in performance over my previous approach of attempting to fried potatoes in a pan. I finally had to acknowledge that I couldn't maintain a stable temperature that way. Even though I don't like having appliances on my counter, I think this one is worth the room it takes up.

You will adore this item if you read the instructions! It has a good design. With gadgets or appliances that are not designed to make life easier, I am not easily impressed. This cool product is ideal for serving shallow-fried dishes in tiny servings. Here are some things to keep in mind:If you intend to do an item that is heavily battered, I advise against using the basket. Whenever the food is ready, just remove it using tongs. Your food will first fall to the bottom of the basket if the batter is thick, similar to tempura, and the batter will embed itself in the grid. By that time, you've wasted half of your batter, and whatever you're preparing will start to fry in grease. Additionally, cleanup is required thereafter.Make sure to fry your french fries according to the recipe book if you're cooking them (they're gorgeous!). Unless you prefer them al dente, the inside will be softer. Before adding extra meals while the cooking is still going on, wait for the front-mounted "ready" light to turn back on. It only takes a second, but it guarantees that the oil has returned to the ideal frying temperature.Prior to the greatest temperature being attained, the ready light turns on. I checked this using a deep fry thermometer. The oil is hot enough for your food to begin cooking rather than absorbing a lot of oil, even though it is not quite at the thermostat setting. When the light first turns on, it is better to wait another minute.I adore how the cover fits perfectly over the basket and screens the cooking steam. Although I didn't let it sit there on high with nothing in it, I also didn't have any smoking at the high temperature with peanut oil.READY THE BROCHURE! I don't mean to skim it either. It describes how to build the basket properly; it is not ready for use when it is delivered. It explains why the fryer should not be moved when plugged in and why the plug is magnetic – just think about it! It explains why you shouldn't keep it close to the sink, where water could crash into it and cause serious harm. If people had simply read the book, so many of the terrible things I saw in the reviews would not have been a problem. It's got a tiny footprint. It's cleaner and takes up less space than my toaster when not in use.I used peanut oil and got excellent results. I prepared catfish, zucchini, and french fries. I adore it so far. The main issue I have is that I utilize it more frequently than I should. It improves on or makes in-and-out french fries. Forget the McD's extruded fries. I want to use this beautiful equipment for a very long time.
No, you don't need to refrigerate oil after deep frying. In fact, it's best to store oil in a cool, dark place. If you do refrigerate it, the oil will solidify and you'll need to heat it up before using it again.
No, you don't need to refrigerate oil after frying. In fact, it's best to store oil in a cool, dark place. If you do refrigerate oil, it will become cloudy.
Deep fryers have several disadvantages. They use a large amount of oil, which can be expensive. They also require a lot of time and effort to clean. Additionally, deep fryers can be dangerous to use if not used properly.
McDonald's uses a deep fryer that is specifically designed for their needs. This fryer can accommodate large quantities of food and is able to keep the food at a consistent temperature. This allows the food to be cooked evenly and quickly.
After using a deep fryer, it is important to properly dispose of the oil. One option is to pour the oil into a heat-resistant container and then place it in the trash. Another option is to recycle the oil at a local recycling center.
