There's a lot of glass here. Even so, I didn't utilize it all (I got it to supplement the lava rocks that came with my fire pit). But now that I've realized how much heat the glass actually retains (and emits), I'm considering adding more. Not the lava rocks, though. Additionally, this was the only glass I could find that looked "natural" (remember, I wanted it to blend in with my lava rocks and some ceramic logs). I'll start "pouring more over the fire" as soon as I can recall where I put all of the remaining glass. Did I also mention that this item was the most affordable I could find and that it was a neutral color? Absolutely, I'd buy this again. after I'm done.

The cobalt blue fire pit glass is gorgeous! You should rinse and dry the glass before placing it in the fire pit because the product came in a bag and has some dust on it. I used a slotted spoon to remove the rock from the water and place it on a towel to air dry after I had rinsed it in a big plastic bowl filled with water. You will need to find a location to dump the water out because there will still be tiny shards of glass in it (do not empty the water into your drain because it will have glass pieces in it that will go down your drain.) Even though I'm sure there are better ways to rinse rocks, this method worked for me. Whether or not the fire is lit, the glass looks stunning in the fire pit. Considering that this seller's price was the best I could find, I would absolutely suggest them.

To replace the lava rock in our new fire column, we bought the glass (10 lbs. bronze and 10 lbs. copper). When combined with the copper, the bronze hue looks lovely and suits the image well. To fully see that there are two colors there, you have to look very closely. Since installing the glass, we have only experienced 1 fire, but I adore the way it sparkles while the flame is dancing. The flame bounces off of it, giving you the impression that it is melting when it isn't. As of now, everything is precisely what we intended, and if anything changes, I'll update the review.

WOW! The sample size is ideal for a little project or to see the beauty of the glass up close. I'm in awe of the way it spreads color and reflects light. The glass pieces appear to dance in the light because it is reflecting, and the black provides a deep, rich dimension. Quite dramatic Soon after receiving this, I placed a purchase for the large 10 pound size (in Platinum Moonlight and Diamond Starlight), and I'm delighted I did because it's ideal for my artwork. This would look really stunning in a fire pit, and now I want one so I can utilize this glass! I know I sound like an advertisement, but it really is that lovely. Beautiful and timely delivery. Recommendations: Avoid simply emptying the bag's contents into your firepit. You need to get rid of glass dust and smaller bits. Therefore, think about yourself. Put the bits you want to keep in a pail of water after going through the glass. The extremely little fragments should be discarded. You don't want to jam the firepit's gas unit. I dried the glass in the box it was shipped in using paper towels before placing it in the Firepit basin. I didn't just throw it in. Now that it is clean, shining, and attractive without fire as well, glass. In addition, because the basin was little, I only ordered 10 pounds. It was insufficient, therefore an additional 10 pounds were needed.

Because there are some sharper edges, wear gloves. For our circular fire pit, I ordered 30 pounds. In a nice guppy tank with typical black sand, I used this as aquarium gravel after sifting, washing (with dish soap), boiling, bleaching, dechlorinating, soaking, and rinsing. It looks beautiful. If using in fresh water with good "grow" lighting, it does have a tendency to build algae, so be prepared to remove it all, bleach it, and dechlorinate once every two months. It is quite alluring. It looks great when I top it with a piece of bleached white (dead) coral to create "banks" on the sides and back of the tank. The fry can clean up the additional food it gathers by swimming into the stacked lava rock. It will trap food where larger fish can't get to it, so I wouldn't use it in a tank without active breeders or something little since you really need something small to go in there and clean up. Since it's not meant for aquariums, be sure to thoroughly sort through it and don't miss the time-consuming cleaning procedure. There were contaminants that I wouldn't have placed in a tank without boiling and bleaching procedures. For instance, there were fragments of black plastic mixed in that could only be removed by hand sifting.

These were purchased for a fire table with a centre rectangular strip. They were supposed to swap out those pieces of shattered glass that frequently accompany tables. However, they would often get jammed into places and make it difficult to put the cover on flat and evenly on the fire section so it could be used as a full table in between fire lighting. I thought the broken glass bits might have looked a little prettier and allowed the gas to be distributed differently.These are precisely copper in color and match the description.They weren't any chipped or broken, and I credit the carefully sealed jars and double-wrapped/boxed shipment for this.They didn't pop or crackle like some other brands have, but they still function effectively.They come in a handled jar that is perfect for storing and protection.They come highly recommended from me.

the 1/2" Copper glass that I ordered. The largest piece was 3/4" and the smallest was roughly 1/2". Perfect for my needs. No little parts. They were double packed in sturdy bags and mailed (in the Amazon box). I had no concerns about handling the bags without gloves because there were no protruding sharp objects. There were absolutely no loose glass shards to be found, and I could not even detect a hint of glass powder. To begin with, I simply ordered one bag to ensure that it was of the caliber I desired. Since I took these photos, I've ordered a second bag. It has a lovely hue and is quite reflective, as you can see in my photos. This brand comes highly recommended.

This glass "rock" substance is fantastic. I applied it in a rather unconventional manner to my front yard exhibit to represent water running over white marble stone chips. They are formed like naturally rough-cut stones and are simple to handle. There are no harsh glass edges to worry about cutting your hands. If you enjoy blue, you'll love the deep, rich shade of sapphire blue that makes up the color; it's quite attractive. I heartily endorse this item.
