This will serve as a sign for our farmers market booth, and I chose it because it is a manageable size, allowing me to position it up on the table where it would be clearly visible. The size is ideal for our requirements. When you set it up, the legs appear shaky, but so far, it hasn't fallen over, suggesting that it may be more sturdy than it appeared. However, we haven't had enough wind to put it to the test yet. Even though I only use real chalk, when I erase, there is still ghosting. It completed the task. Lightweight and appears to be well-built. The only odd part was that the black board material wasn't the conventional chalk board; instead, it was another plastic-like material, and the paint chalk I bought worked perfectly on it, but I was expecting a standard black chalk board. Yesterday, when I was selling my original pottery at a holiday market, I used this for the first time. It was stunning, exactly the strong, rustic aesthetic I was aiming for. The writing surface seemed to be long-lasting, and where I had to re-letter, it erased cleanly. One thing I would advise buyers to keep in mind is that the four pens that came with it are not very good. They only come in the four primary hues and don't have chisel-like tips. If you're using stencils, it would work great, but since I was hand-lettering, they weren't really artistic. I'd fortunately ordered several Versa Chalk pens. The chisel points let me to write more artistically, and the colors were gorgeous. This chalkboard was praised by a customer at the Christmas sale, who also inquired about its source. Good work.

I used them in my kitchen because they don't have a strong presence and they go well with practically any decor. I was smitten by the promised photo of the reclaimed farmhouse wood look when I ordered this chalkboard. I have to admit that when my box finally arrived and I opened it, I was a little let down. I don't like that the paint job on my frame appears drippy and heavy in certain places, even if the quality is excellent for the price and the overall appearance is ok. That was not the appearance depicted in the advertisement. Apart than that, I'm fairly happy. My liking for those paint "drips" is growing. This is THE ONLY reason I didn't give it a perfect score. Through them, I also bought a 12-pack of liquid chalk markers, and I'm really pleased with them. To get two different ink colors, simply turn the marker tips around. The standard marker shape is on one side, and the rounded tip is for bulleting or for a more robust and even ink line. Both the colors and their use are striking.

I don't usually leave reviews, but because so many people have been discussing the instructions on this site, I thought I'd clarify them for anyone who was on the fence about purchasing the goods. Move on if you don't think the directions are clear enough (I've included a photo of it). My 7-year-old could understand them. The procedure is the same as when a newborn's print is taken in the hospital. IT'S SO EASY! The aggressive bone cancer in my 13-year-old GSD's upper should was just discovered on Monday, and we don't have much time left with him. Since he can't apply much pressure on his paw, he found this to be incredibly easy and painless. It performed flawlessly! The ink pad's lack of width for a dog with wide paws weighing 100 pounds is the sole drawback, in my opinion. Other than that, I couldn't be happier. You'll be just fine following the directions if you use common sense.
