For my Moroccan-inspired patio, I purchased these lanterns in purple, red, and orange. Although they are all lovely, my favorites are the purple and red ones. The sunlight makes them appear vibrant. They still have a soft glow and beautiful hues at night when a flameless votive is set on a timer, though. At night, orange looks its best. I like that they have chains because it saves me from having to go to the hardware shop.My order was perfectly wrapped, but I appreciated the email the vendor sent me outlining what to do in the event that any glass was shattered.

I bought the model made of black plastic with inside it tiny flickering battery-operated tea lights.Thought I was going a little extravagant when I ordered these to hang from the gates of my Halloween cemetery, but it worked out well. The flickering effect gave it the perfect final touch.To fasten each lantern to my gates, I merely threaded a black zip tie through the silver ring on top of each one (which functions something like a key ring).Although the plastic version appears a little frail given the price, they actually function well and aren't meant to be used constantly. When you use them at night, nobody can tell that they are plastic. I'm hoping they fare well in the heat.It's great that they include a second full set of batteries and a precisely sized screwdriver to prevent stripped screws. I took the batteries out after use to store them.

Every year I buy a variety of pumpkins for our front porch, but before Thanksgiving dinner they are either devoured by deer or freeze in the snow and disintegrate. I couldn't be happier with the three Desert Steel Great Pumpkin Lanterns I bought this year—two of them were tall and one was squat. They endure forever and make a lovely Fall statement. In order to make it simple to turn on and off, I bought a set of three timer-equipped outdoor candles. If the pumpkins didn't have timers, the candles underneath them would need to be lit by lifting them up. Next year, I'll receive a free set of pumpkins for the opposite side of the porch, and I might mix it up with the off-white ones. Several retailers sell these pumpkins, but I chose Amazon because Prime members receive free shipping, and they shipped quickly.

AWESOME DEAL On Halloween, I purchased this pumpkin to match the rest of my fall décor. On that particular day, it was more than half off the usual $12.50 cost. SCORE! However, I will admit that it isn't white; rather, it's a creamy tan with faint brushstrokes that enhance the image. Additionally, it has an iridescent shimmer that clashes with my other décor. But it looks lovely when I place it on my little dining table by itself! Furthermore, it was tightly packaged! Overall, a fantastic purchase.

The beeswax candles' pre-drilled well and varying sizes apart, the wick installation technique is different. In the beeswax candles, you can see that there is a small space between the wick and the wax. To get the metal tab to adhere to the bottom of the beeswax candles, it is probably necessary to drill, thread the wick through, then heat the bottom. Because of this, beeswax candles always stand upright; you never have to worry about uneven candles.In this instance, quality clearly prevails over quantity.Simply put, spend more money to buy higher-quality beeswax candles.

The Kate Aspen Distressed Metal Vintage Decorative Mini Lantern, Centerpiece, Party Favor, 2.5 x 2.5 x 6.5, Blue is the product I'm reviewing. However, this is one of those items for which you really need to get out the measuring tape. I know we all glance over the dimensions of stuff we buy on Amazon. Look at the photographs I've attached to see how tiny our little lantern is.CONSIt's Lilliputian in size, not just small. Approximately the size of a Gala Apple (see picture).There are jagged metal edges inside the candle where the glass inserts are positioned.The glass inserts' incredibly sharp edges run the risk of hurting your hand.I'm not sure how you get the lid off again without burning your hand, even if you figure out the logistical conundrum of setting the handles into place while the candle is lighted. or how you extinguish a candle.On mine, the holes that the handle's prongs are supposed to fit in are out of alignment. Judging by the reviews, other people have also noticed this. Although the handle alters the candle's appearance, you might be better off throwing it away.PROSAlthough it might sound like I'm not thrilled with this candle, I actually am. My favorite.It's not polished and flawless because it's so reasonably priced.The bottom of this candle has a caution label that reads, "Keep away from anything that create fire." Really good advise for any circumstance!Particularly when placed next to a stunning plant and a Gala apple, it looks lovely on the mantle.If you only want to read a single sentence in a pamphlet, it will only light up a little portion of the room.It's so lovely that it will make you grin.Your kitties will have something to bat off the table with it.I go into such length about the possible drawbacks so that you are aware of what to anticipate and aren't let down when you open it. Although this candle has a serious handle problem, if you only need a modest aesthetic touch, it's still worth the money. Be careful!

Okay, I should probably postpone writing my review as I literally just got them out of the package and put in my batteries, but whatever. However, I adore them! They are ideal and precisely what is shown in the description. I can't put my shepherd hooks outside yet because they won't be here for another 2 days. But the flame appears genuine. Yes, they are made of plastic, and the panels are opaque, but I'm sure that's so you can't see any wires or other components. I'm going to place 2 in the front landscaping area. These are really adorable, but I won't take pictures until the hooks get here. They don't at all appear plastic up close! Great value — some are considerably more expensive! Looking forward to seeing them at night. Returning to update this posting UPDATE: Just uploaded a few pictures! I adore these lights. With all the wind we receive, I'm so grateful they're light. I don't need to be concerned about them breaking or falling. They give our yard a really lovely and comfortable appearance. The sputtering flame appears so genuine!
