This product really does work wonders! I've had allergies my entire life, and I often take Flonase every day in addition to either an allergy/decongestant or a regular allergy tablet. I've discovered that it's easier to administer by placing him flat on his back across my legs and then very slightly raising the leg across from his head. Although his head is somewhat tilted back, he can still feel safe because he is on his grandmother's lap. I sing ridiculous songs to keep his attention on me while maintaining eye contact, and then I move VERY fast to insert the drops before he has a chance to go completely insane. Lol. Only particular tree pollens in the spring and leaf mold in the fall cause my limited seasonal allergies. Other than that, I don't typically get severe allergic reactions. Even though each allergy "season" only lasts a few of weeks, I still have the full-blown allergic reaction, including watery/swollen eyes, a stuffy/runny nose, sneezing, etc. I also have COPD (emphysema) and asthma, so I have to be cautious when taking medications to prevent any harmful interactions with my other pulmonary medications.My doctor prescribed Flonase, but it had absolutely no impact. I could have squirted water up my nose, for crying out loud. I asked him if he wanted to try this OTC Nasacort and obtained his approval before placing my order.IT PERFORMS! In all honesty, it performed a lot better than I had anticipated. I experienced absolutely no symptoms after it had built up for about 3 days. It was roughly 90% efficient, in my opinion. I only used it up until the end of the evergreen pollen season (about 2 to 2.5 weeks, tops).Even though I just used it for a few weeks, I never had any issues with insomnia. In the fall, when the next "leaf mold season" begins, I'll take it once more. Although it hasn't happened yet, I hope I could find something that was 100 percent effective and had no adverse effects. I give it four stars ("I like it") because it currently functions okay.
