The ZAZA Percussion The 16'' Silver Lotus Aluminum Darbuka Doumbek. Review:

When the first one I ordered arrived broken, the merchant immediately and without hesitation replaced it. Customer assistance and service from Eastern Bazzar/Darbuka Planet (Jaron) were exceptional. Nothing finer could have been provided for me.The 16" Darbuka is quite good, has amazing tone, and is enjoyable to play. I needed a cheap Darbuka to practice on as I haven't used ZAZA's goods. I play around with other percussion instruments like the Cajon and Djembe, but I also wanted to learn how to play the Darbuka with my hands and fingers. I'll probably also get a good ZAZA Doumbek from Eastern Bazzar once I get the hang of it.

Egyptian Darbuka Drum Doumbek Tombak . Review:

My kid, who enjoys ethnic music, requested that I purchase him an Egyptian darbuka drum. I discovered this excellent Egyptian Darbuka Drum Doumbek Tombak by SALA after doing some research online. When I gave it to my son, he was overjoyed, and I am very delighted with my purchase. It's a high-quality item, and I heartily suggest it!

17" Percussion"Gawharet El" Fan Pro Metal Darbuka Drum Doumbek (Gold Metal + Remo Turquoise Head) Review:

The drum is excellent, and I'm happy I made this purchase. The vendor was very accommodating to my demands and questions. Shipping was quick, and the box was well-padded and packed. The cast metal body's weight and sturdiness provide you with a satisfying playing experience. I have other brands that are more lighter and constructed of aluminum sheet, and I can tell the difference. The Doumbek's translucent stock head, which features El-fan inscription and an insignia, is fairly excellent and produces passable sound. Even though I purchased a REMO replacement head, I will still use this one instead because I intend to switch between the two. Please be aware that the kit does not include a tuning key or the REMO head pre-installed. It only includes an extra head or heads and a tote bag. To tune and replace the head, be sure to purchase a 5 mm Hex Allen Key. Additionally, I advise searching for some YouTube videos on Doumbek/Darbuka head and skin replacement. In order to line the metal collar with the skin, I heated the head and skin with a hair dryer multiple times as demonstrated in the video. I'm not sure if this was necessary for a synthetic head, but I did it nevertheless. After a few days, I slightly loosened the strained head/skin (again, as indicated in a video), and now I'm getting incredible sound with booming "Dum"s and sharp, metallic "Tek"s!The carry bag is extremely thin and had multiple tears in spots where the metal body leaned on it. It is not at all padded as was previously indicated. I wish it were of higher quality, but hey, it's free and has so far kept the drum dust-free! I temporarily repaired them with some duct tape, but I'll surely get a better bag now that this Gawharet El fan Doumbek has grown in value.

Meinl Darbuka with Plain Aluminum Shell - MADE IN TURKEY - 5 1/3" Tunable Synthetic Head, 2-YEAR WARRANTY (HE-100) Review:

This little instrument is a lot of fun, and it's a terrific deal at $20. I doubt you will find a better quality instrument for this price or less, with the exception of a kazoo or recorder. It is made entirely of metal and has an adjustable, tight head. It is portable enough to use while relaxing on the couch or bed while watching TV or listening to music. The noise level won't bother the neighbors either.Due to its diminutive size, the dooms don't have a lot of bass, but the teks are excellent and metallic, and the device makes a perfect tiny camping or on-the-go equipment to pack.Hossam Ramzy and his Sabla Tolo albums are favorites of mine, thus I decided to purchase this as a fun percussion instrument. I purchased the 3020 model since I like it so much.I play the guitar, so rhythm and percussion are not my strong suits, but if you are familiar with how the instrument should sound and be held, you can pick up some entertaining rhythms on the small darbuka in just a few hours.

Meinl Percussion Mini Darbuka with Aluminum Body - MADE IN TURKEY - 7 1/4" Tunable Synthetic Head, 2-YEAR WARRANTY (HE-103) Review:

Wonderful small drum!Just be aware that since it's made of aluminum, it's brittle.Sitting on the bottom would probably result in crushing it.I would advise using some form of soft case.I would have given it five stars, but I had to file down the corners because they were a little sharp.I had the correct tool and it was a simple fix, so it was for me.Additionally, I purchased a Meinl cajon castinet, and I must admit that so far, Meinl products have impressed me with their quality.

Meinl Percussion Darbuka with Hand Hammered Aluminum Shell-Made in Turkey-8" Tunable Synthetic Head, 2-Year Warranty (HE-114) Review:

At one of our drum circle classes, I saw someone playing the Darbuka drum, and I instantly knew I had to acquire one of my own. I looked on Amazon and discovered this Meinl Percussion Darbuka with a Hand-Hammered Aluminum Shell made in Turkey, which I bought. I've taken a few introductory lessons in using the Darbuka, and I think it's a great drum. It also included a unique tool for tightening and adjusting the drum head.I adore using the Darbuka to practice my drumming. The only thing I have to complain about is that I should have looked online at the many price points for this drum. I could have purchased this one for approximately 50% cheaper, but I still adore this drum and am happy I did.If you're looking for a Darbuka drum, you might want to have a look at this one.5 out of 5 stars.
