Let me begin by stating that this strawberry margarita mix has the best flavor available. Around 1989 or 1990, I first started using Daileys. Because it contained 1% alcohol back then, you had to get it from a liqueur store. All I know is that the one they offer here is incredibly costly and alcohol-free. The most wonderful frozen daiquiris can be made using this mixer. I make the drink as instructed, adding a little cold water to the blender along with the mixer, ice, and rum (I actually use my nutribullet). If you put some fresh strawberries in the blender, it will be much better. Tonight I experimented and added some chunks of canned pineapple (with juice). AMAZING!!!

Since I didn't have anything else to compare it to, I only rated it a 4 out of 5. I absolutely liked it! I used Bacardi rum in the recipe, but I "topped it" with some 140 proof Bermuda black rum because that's what I drank on my most recent Royal Caribbean trip to Bermuda! AWESOME!!!

I had previously purchased mango mix from a different company. I prepared delicious strawberry mango daiquiris. However, the second company stopped producing the mango two years ago. Other mango combinations from the other company and some others I've seen didn't quite cut it for me. The mix's quality and flavor are excellent. I used to purchase daiquiris and margaritas that were already mixed and placed in separate freezer bags, and I really valued the ease. I can no longer find these for some reason. By the way, Daily's makes versions that are prepared with wine rather than liquor but still taste fantastic.I was still looking for my go-to cocktails in a carry-on bag. These were excellent! They taste nothing like kool aid and are really creamy and tasty (with actual strawberry seeds). They also freeze quite nicely; there were no large, sharp ice shards, but after a couple of squeezes, they resembled slushies.To create, open the twist cap, pour rum into it up to the specified line, shake to combine, then top off with water and freeze.The initial batch was manufactured exactly this way, with the booze being directly poured into the bag up to the "fill line" on the box. I'm not sure if it was because I placed the bag on the counter wrong or for some other reason, but the powder appeared to absorb the rum and I ended up pouring too much into the bag before I ever got to the line! We drank them nonetheless, but it wasn't even strong enough to freeze well. I measured the rum from the second bag (1 1/2 cups; it is also mentioned on the bag) in a measuring cup. They excelled. To suit your tastes, you can change the amount of liquor (or even use different kinds of alcohol...or I suppose none at all if you want.)One more entertaining tip: I mixed the full bag and then divided it into little ziploc freezer bags. Per 1 Lt. Blender Bag (which yields 1/2 gallon), I believe I used 5 or 6 small ziploc bags. Then I put all the tiny bags in the freezer. So, we could either grab one when we needed it or pack a bunch in our beach bags so they would stay slushy for hours. Additionally, we had to transport less trash afterward (like with cans or bottles.) Additionally, we were free from any concerns regarding the distribution of portions into cups. Simply insert a straw into the zipper's little slot to enjoy!
