For my motorbike riding suit, which presents a challenging environment for any zipper, I purchased the zipper lubricant. It actually works rather well; instead of having to stop and start the zipper as I ran the entire length before, it nearly glides now (foot to neck). I use a hard toothbrush instead of applying it immediately (as instructed). If not, the diameter is truly too large, and lubricant ends up on the cloth as well as the zipper teeth. This works better than the liquid Teflon dry-lube I previously used.

I avoid wearing button-down shirts simply because they are cumbersome and leave me stuck if my hand or finger pain flares up. Because the buttons on his shirts are small and he has little feeling in his fingers due to neuropathy, my father-in-law frequently has problems buttoning his shirts.
