I enjoy these. I used to constantly use the small, double-sided sliding squeezers for dental paste. In order to reduce the amount of empty tube flapping around on top, I frequently removed the old-style tubes and doubled over the empty end to feed back through. Sometimes I would continue to squeeze the tube in front of the slide because it might be difficult to move those kind of tubes after you had doubled over. Additionally, with the traditional sliding style, air collects at the back of the tube, but not with these fancy ones because the empty tube is wrapped up within. I'm delighted I paid a little bit more for these because I won't have to squeeze the tube anymore. You might experience difficulties if the tube is particularly wide, but so far, all of the ones I've received fit. Two particular formulae I had didn't work since they had fancy crescent-shaped ends, but I still put the old slides on those tubes. I'm ecstatic about them. They perform well, appear neater, and even are sophisticated. With them, you won't leave anything in the tube.

Being an artist, I recently discovered artist-grade water color paints in tubes, and I am in love. such as White Knights, Mission Gold, and Daniel Smith. Because of its extremely fine pigmentation, this paint is quite pricey. I have a number of 5 ml tubes that cost more than 12 each. The paint does go a long way, however because of this, when I thought the tube was empty, I assumed I had left far too much paint inside. In order to extract the last, priceless drops of paint from each tube, I bought this tube wringer. Even though I was physically unable to push the tube any more, it is simply remarkable how much is still within. There is definitely enough there for a couple more paintings, I promise! No matter how hard you press and squeeze, no hands can extract all the paint that this tube wringer simply wrings out. This tube wringer crimps the tube as it pushes the paint out to prevent the paint from leaking back into the recesses of the tube, ensuring that you obtain every bit. You can choose to cut the tube's length once three crimps have been made. (I dont). This would also work for tubes of tomato paste and pesto in my kitchen. Score! food and art!

My tale:I adore squeezers for toothpaste tubes. After growing weary of pushing the toothpaste to the top with my toothbrush, I started using one in 2003. I lost both of my toothpaste squeezers when I relocated to Puerto Rico in January. Although I visited three Walgreens and two Walmarts, I was unable to find them there. Only Walmart offered them. I believed it was because I worked in PR. For the holidays, I went to Houston, but it wasn't at Walmart or Target.I got the flat and standing tube squeezers from Amazon because none of my old tube squeezers could stand up. If you're here reading reviews, you're probably considering buying this thing. DO IT.Lol, I got them because when I roll, curl, or do anything else to get the glue out of the tubes that glue comes in for my crafts business, they tend to shatter and spew glue everywhere. I reasoned that since I waste 1/10 of the $8 tubes of glue I use every day, these would pay for themselves in a matter of months.They would completely transform my entire workflow, something I didn't realize! They are heavier than I had anticipated and are the ideal size, weight, and form to aid in the glue's ability to adhere to them. I like how they stand up because it prevents adhesive from spilling out of the open cap when I rapidly set the tube down to attach something.Most significantly, my glue tubes won't ever again crack!

It works excellent, however it is much larger than a tube of toothpaste. Although it might work on one, it will probably be difficult to put the toothpaste tube with this connected back into any drawer. This is now a tool for "big silicone" tubes and other things. So that you can see how enormous this device is in relation to the tubes and how massive and cumbersome the two combined truly are, they should depict a genuine toothpaste tube next to the item instead of drawings of toothpaste tubes to the upper right of the item. It would be great if they could make this exact same thing "far smaller" so that it could be used for toothpaste tubes. I've used plastic squeezers before and was intending to replace them with a metal model that would last longer, but my husband ended up using this as a workshop tool.
