AmazonBasics D Cell 1.5 Volt Everyday Alkaline Batteries - Pack of 12 Review:

dependable batteries. I haven't experienced a single rupture or leak, and the power output and lifetime of these batteries in my equipment appear equivalent to the Rayovac and Duracell alkaline cells I use. Every cell I've used so far has worked flawlessly; there hasn't been a single failure. These are the greatest D-Cells I've tested so far for the money, and I've tried a lot. Here are my results from actual use, ranked from most to least:AmazonBasics: Strong power production, dependable low prices, average longevity.Rayovac: Excellent power production, long lifespan, range of prices (I find good deals every few weeks). appear to never leak.Ikea: Fairly long lifespan, average power output (flickers a little), and typically the cheapest price.Maxell: Excellent durability, good price, good power output, but one out of every few dozen eventually leaks.Duracell: Excellent power output, extended lifespan, wide price range, but one out of every few dozen batteries eventually leaks.Sunbeam: Consistently low price, average power output, fair lifetime, but prone to leaking.Energizer: Variable power output (some flicker a lot, some don't), average longevity, occasionally pricey, and it seems like they are quite likely to leak.As a result, I now use the AmazonBasics in all of my D-cell torches, lanterns, and motion sensors that I use on a regular basis. I save the Rayovacs for things I store and for my emergency supplies. I'm now testing a couple AmazonBasics for leakage by keeping them, and so far - Not a single one has ever leaked on me. As I utilize them more, I'll update this review.

AmazonBasics D Cell 1.5 Volt Everyday Alkaline Battery - 24-Pack Review:

It sure beats paying the hefty prices for these D Cell batteries at Walgreens or Walmart! Six of these D cell batteries are needed for my two automatic pet feeders, one for my cat "Polo" and one for my Miniature Schnauzer "Miles." Now that these batteries are powering the feeders on my predetermined timetable, I know they are being fed when I am gone for three or four days. I also have a doggy door on my covered back patio door with a large automated water feeder for the two of them.

Energizer Alkaline Batteries N Size (2 Battery Count) - Packaging May Vary Review:

I discovered what appeared to be an AA battery split in half when I opened a clock. I visited a number of stores in the neighborhood, but none of them had an N-sized battery.I was fortunate enough to obtain both the goods in the photo and another one with several years of shelf life after placing an order on Amazon.Warning. Keep an eye on the battery supplier who is shipping and selling them. Some of the negative evaluations of the goods are not essential because of the item itself, but rather because of the dishonest seller. The batteries may come in zip-top bags or pop-out packs. They might appear to have a shelf life that is close to or past its expiration date. Even those with a valid date will arrive Dead on Arrival, necessitating a volt meter examination. However, I have been happy with the energizer brand of N2 batteries for a number of years.

AmazonBasics D Cell Rechargeable Batteries 10000mAh Ni-MH, 4-Pack Review:

I used these rechargeable cells and a CREE light to swap out the old lead-acid batteries and incandescent bulb in my Maglite. The outcome is really fantastic. The batteries hardly ever need to be recharged, and the flashlight is very bright. They get a lot of wear because I walk my dog every night, and they are still in wonderful shape.Things about these batteries that I adore:These come with zero guilt and no hassle. Getting rid of the dead lead batteries was a constant hassle. Either I dispose of them in the garbage and feel bad about introducing lead into the environment, or I look for a location that recycles lead-acid batteries and travel there. Then there was the heap of dead batteries that were gathering in the closet and needed to be disposed of. Rechargeable batteries can be recycled at Best-Buy (but not lead batteries), making it simple for me to dispose of them if I ever have Ni-MH battery failure, which hasn't occurred to me yet. These Amazon Ni-MH batteries do not damage equipment by leaking acid or lead. Ni-MH battery leaks have never happened to me, and even if they did, they shouldn't be harmful. Even pricey name brands of lead batteries, including Duracell and Energizer, leak and damage equipment. Who wants lead to be spread around because it is incredibly harmful and makes children mentally retarded? Not to mention the acid burns, which are painful for anybody but kids in particular. Get these Ni-MH batteries and avoid lead batteries at all costs.- Purchasing these batteries and charging them is significantly less expensive than purchasing lead-acid batteries and discarding them.- Purchasing these rechargeables from Amazon costs less than purchasing lead batteries from a food shop. Order a couple more in advance to have on hand.

ACDelco D Batteries, Super Alkaline Battery, 8 Count Pack Review:

I am aware that alkaline batteries are boring. Even though they are essential to our daily activities, they all mostly resemble one another, and we often take them for granted until they run out of power, at which time we curse them. Being a battery is a hard life—you are neglected and then reprimanded in the end.In spite of this, I must point out that they are reliable, long-lasting batteries that perform a crucial function in my house. I use four of them simultaneously to power a flood alarm in the closet where one of my water heaters is situated. Investing in these dependable batteries for my leak/flood alarm is a no-brainer because a leaking or flooding water heater may easily result in hundreds of dollars worth of damages. To be cautious, I change them every 6-7 months even though their useful life in this environment is just approximately 8 months. I'll get more batteries when they run out from Amazon, where I typically buy practically everything these days aside from food and gas.Disclaimer: I have no personal or professional ties to the company that made this product, and I paid for it with my own money.

Energizer Max D Batteries, Premium Alkaline D Cell Batteries (12 Battery Count) - Packaging May Vary Review:

For the toys of my granddaughters, we go through numerous batteries. We also check through them after our grandkids use our flashlights without turning them off while looking for something. These are reasonably priced and durable. The next time we require them, I would get these.

Energizer Max D Batteries, Premium Alkaline D Cell Batteries (4 Battery Count) - Packaging May Vary Review:

It appears to be really bright, unless it has been a very long time since I've changed the batteries in my large, old-fashioned Energizer Weather Ready 5-in-1 settings Flashlight, which I acquired after the early 2000s blackout. I only apply it in those circumstances. I've only ever put Energizer D batteries in it, and they've lasted so long that I've only had to replace them once since I bought it. They were a little dim during previous blackouts, but I never remembered to obtain batteries until it happened again. Of course, it always happens when you can't find the time to get any. I can therefore confirm that these batteries would undoubtedly make the "Energizer Bunny" proud! I won't be writing a follow-up answer until they've altered them in some way to decrease their potency.

Energizer Rechargeable D Batteries, NiMH, 2500 mAh, 2 count - Packaging May Vary Review:

Almost nine years ago, we bought them for a baby swing since we didn't want to continually replacing the batteries. With the most recent baby, you still have them and use them frequently. Since the swing requires three batteries, we first purchased enough for two "sets" so that we would always have some charged and ready to use. We eventually ran out of batteries for our two sets after losing one, so we had to buy more. I can now confirm that the new ones do typically last a bit longer than the previous ones, albeit by only a few hours. The older models may still be used continuously for a good 5 or 6 hours. That's really impressive, in my opinion, for a product that is almost a decade old. Additionally, we are still using the original charger we bought nearly nine years ago to charge them all. I would unquestionably suggest this brand to anyone hoping to make long-term savings on batteries. However, it should also be emphasized that simply by glancing at them, you can identify the difference between the new and the old. After so many years of usage and abuse, whatever "label" these may have tends to shred at the tops, making them less attractive. This was similarly true of the AAs we had previously acquired.
