This item is fantastic! I had to let my nails grow out a little before I could groom my cuticles because I use dip powder for my nails. I don't know if this is my first Amazon review or if I've written one in a while. These are fantastic products! Last week, my dependable Revlon cuticle trimmers broke. Since then, I spent $12.99 on a new pair of Revlon clippers, which were rubbish. Then came a pair of Sally Hansen clippers that were as terrible and cost $14.69. By the time I paid tax, that was a waste of $30. What was I expected to do after I pulled them out of the packaging and noticed that the blades weren't aligned, but gave them a try and discovered that all they did was "pull" rather than "clip" my cuticles? Try to repair the broken parcel with tape and send them back. I ought to have come to Amazon sooner. These ECBASKET clippers have an excellent point, are VERY sharp, and "clip" as they should. A leaflet with the company's contact information is also included inside the handy compact carrying bag in case you need it. I don't recall the last time such information was provided with one of my Amazon transactions. Additionally, they have a little flexible plastic cover for the cutting assembly end while not in use in addition to the carrying case. That safeguards both the owner and the clippers. I've bought two pairs of scissors thus far. (In the elderly home, the first pair got separated.) They are used to groom my husband's eyebrow, nose, and ear hair. READERS PLEASE Please note: This is NOT a cuticle cutter! Some of you have slashed yourselves as a result. Yikes! Here, there are two different items for sale. Both tools have a spoon on one end, but only one has a square, blunt edge, and the other has a sail-shaped point. I've never seen one of the former, not even in a nail salon, so I wouldn't know what to do with it. However, I bought the latter tool (which has a sail on one end) to replace an outdated, damaged one whose handle was made of cheap plastic. I heartily endorse this sturdy replacement because it did a great job: After briefly soaking your hands in warm water, use a spoon to push back cuticles and then a scraper to remove any cuticle fragments adhering to the nail bed (sail). You MUST utilize a spring-loaded cuticle cutter/nipper that is formed like pliers in order to correctly and professionally CUT OFF the elevated cuticle.
