These were ideal because I was looking for a potty-training reward for our son. We devised a system whereby our son would receive a particular number for each successful journey, which later on became a prize to be desired. For this use, their size is ideal. They were also employed for his birthday. The kids enjoyed it when we put them in plastic eggs for a dinosaur hunt (they just fit, though occasionally you need to stick the tail through a hole in the eggs - our were the Spritz brand standard size from Target). Even after going potty, our son continues to play with these dinosaurs every day, occasionally acting as though they are the young versions of his larger dinosaurs. Once more, the size is perfect since I can keep some in my purse, leave some in the car, etc. so he always has something to do when we're out and about.
