My only complaint is that the included screws are incredibly short and do not adequately secure whatever is hanging from them. Additionally, the hangers themselves are very long. I began a new job with fabric-covered cubicle walls. I needed these clips in order to keep my desk clear of clutter. To hang a desk calendar, I used 5 clips (I believe I could get away with just 3, but I'm not taking a chance). Other clips are being used to hang messages and paperwork. For use at work, I purchased two of these. My winter coat is a ski-style jacket with a Velcro flap on the front to cover the zipper, so the first one was for my coat. When my coat hung on the back of my chair, I became sick of the Velcro sticking to my sweaters. The second hook was for my bag because I became weary of having it rest on the floor leaning against the leg of my desk (it does not keep upright by itself; if I did not lean it against the desk, it would topple over).These hooks were what I found while seeking for a hook I could use on the cube walls. These hooks fit snugly on the cube walls because I measured them and found that they are exactly 2 1/2" wide. To prevent the metal cube top from scrubbing the black finish off the hooks, I had to separate them. Not that it really matters, but I didn't want any shavings from the black finish on my cubicle neighbor's desk. In order to prevent my cube neighbor from seeing the hook, I mounted one on my back wall and put it behind her computer. The other is on the outer wall of my cube.The hooks are simple to move around the cube walls by sliding them along the length of the walls. They are strong, useful, and blend in (i.e., they don't stand out). They can accommodate my bulky winter coat as well as my laptop bag, both with and without the laptop inside. My backpack, as I previously indicated, is unable to stand upright on its own, so hanging it from one of these hooks makes it simpler for me to load up my laptop at night as I can simply reach over, open the flap, and put the laptop inside. I just wanted it off the floor; the added benefit wasn't anything I was seeking for or even expecting.These hooks won't hold up if your cube walls are wider. However, I think they would function for cube walls that are thinner. I don't mind that my hooks don't have much "play" in the sense of the space.
