The underarm pads are wonderful and rather comfortable. I did notice a significant difference with how painful the standard pads were when I had to take them off to wash them. I was overjoyed to put back on the crutcheze pit pads.The palm pads, however, are far too thick for me to be able to use them without getting hand cramps. I probably used them for 5 to 10 minutes before giving up and taking them off. They're currently just sitting.So, I'm only partially satisfied with the outcome. They were pretty expensive, and I regret barely using half of the goods. Extremely simply velcro the handles on after slipping them on over the top portion.However, because of how small my hands are and how bulky they are, I had to place my thumb close to the edge of the pink section of the handle, however!! That's also GREAT for many, so for the majority it's definitely a bonus rather than a drawback.I had to move the crutches from my 5'4" height to my 5'2" height since the top section is so plush, but oh, the comfort! In order to have the matching parts when it comes time to replace the other corresponding sections, I needed 1 hand rest for 1 crutch and 1 underarm pad for the other crutch.
