Yes, you can print card stock on a regular printer. However, you may need to adjust the printer settings to accommodate the thicker paper.
No, you don't need a special printer for cardstock. Any printer can print on cardstock, but some printers are better at it than others. If you're going to be printing a lot of cardstock, you might want to invest in a printer that's specifically designed for it. Otherwise, any printer will do.
Cover stock paper is generally between 60-120 pounds in weight.

Well, (hello, Michael from Custormer Service, and thank you for your assistance!) After much thought, we decided to purchase this lovely, cream-colored, semi-cardstock in order to perform rapid study architecture and animal sketches (like five-minute /- study sketches or such; this is why 250 sheets bulk is excellent... ).and it is incredibly fantastic and ideal for our needs. One can learn a lot by quickly drawing what they observe since it encodes (mental-physical/ mind-eye-hand) software that helps them understand proportion and forms. We started off using a graphite pencil, but it was too stiff and scratchy, so we quickly moved to a much softer lead. We now have a 5.6 mm lead holder with a 6 B lead, and we are also getting soft charcoal leads for the holder. In order to keep the paper and drawings fresh, we use a Saunders legal-sized, dual-compartment clipboard box. Next, we prop the drawing up on a gorgeous, folding, beechwood table-top easel. a quick art exhibition! The cream hue is crucial since it provides background and the possibility for contrast. It's fun to write down things to be grateful for on this lovely piece of paper. Is there a paper factory nearby?

bought to be used in place of Bristol boards. I was really thrilled when I saw that this product was suggested for use with pencils, inks, and markers. The stock has a wonderful heft to it and is a bright white color. To the touch, the finish is smooth, and pencils and pens slide over it without difficulty. India ink can be used on it without bleeding. While there is significant bleed-through on the reverse of the page, the colors merge flawlessly on the front. It handles Copic marker ink like a pro. Despite the fact that I haven't tried printing anything on this stock, I have run some through my sheet feed scanner, so I'm convinced it will work just fine when I print out bluelines for inking. I'm thrilled to have this as a tool for my artwork! The paper was well-packaged for transportation and the merchant shipped quite quickly. Thanks!

For what I wanted, this worked fantastically well. I wanted to print a timeline on strong paper that looked like parchment, and I required a timeline. Ten sheets of copy paper are shown in the stack of papers, followed by a red cardstock sheet and ten pages of parchment. The differences between these are clear. I purchased the copy paper from Costco, where it was labeled as 22 lb. I was shocked that my printer could even turn these pages because some cardstock is tough for it to turn and jams it. It does appear to have a small green tint under some lighting conditions, but overall, I wouldn't classify it as green. Overall, I'm quite happy.

Fantastic work by Southworth. I thoroughly tested this paper with fountain pens and fountain pen inks, using inks from Diamine, Jacques Herbin, Mont Blanc, and LAMY (writing with Fine to Medium nibbed TWSBI, LAMY, and Jinhao fountain pens), and each pen wrote flawlessly on this paper. The woven linen side is on one side, and the smooth side is on the other. I tried writing on the front of the linen to see if the elevated fibers and indentations would interfere with my writing; they didn't. There was no ghosting, bleed through, or, more critically, feathering in the lines or text! On this paper, ink was deliberately spilled, but it did not bleed, ghost, or feather. It would look wonderful on stationery! A !

As a result, I'm giving this 5 stars because it truly fulfills my needs. Since paper weights and descriptions can cause confusion, I go through the questions and reviews to get a feel for it before placing my order. A word of caution: I believe it to be very misleading when they refer to "cardstock" in the description. I can speak from experience when I tell that this paper is much too thin to be used as "cardstock" for crafting cards. It falls halfway between hefty resume paper and cardstock. It will be put to use for a diary or planner that I plan to use frequently. Additionally, lavender is one of my favorite colors, and this hue is particularly lovely (or orchid if you will).

I like how the paper is so thick and robust. The only problem was that this paper was too thick to be used with a front feed printer. It cannot flex in the printer because it is too thick. Use with a back loading printer is required. Suitable for mating!

Has the landscape of photography ever changed completely. Approximately 30 years ago, Kodak or another sizable laboratory supplied all of your prints. The 30-minute shops eventually appeared at WallMart, pharmacies, and other establishments. Unless you wanted to print your own photos in your own lab, they were your only options. Then set the timer to the 1990s. digital photography, low-cost cameras, and mobile phone cameras. It didn't take long before most printing was done on a PC. Yes, there have been periods when you could carry your camera or flash drive to a print it here shop that hadn't used real film in years, or send your file to a mail order print shop.I had to tell you all that, though, in order to tell you this. Like you, I print 99% of my photos at home. I have some paper that is suitable for framing or giving away photographs and is of photo quality. I use Hammermill Color Copy Digital Cover Stock, a 60 pound paper, for the remainder of my photographs. It feels something like glossy picture paper thanks to its light slick surface. The clarity and color representation are superb, and printing and giving away photos won't break the bank. It's unfortunate that Kodak was affected by the paradigm change.

I really used this to print some playing cards for a print-and-play game I had downloaded, not for a resume or other "fancy" printing purposes. I printed the fronts on one sheet and the backs on the other, and I adhered them together using spray glue. Although it makes the cards somewhat thicker than they should be, they nevertheless function just well and have the ideal feel.
Cover paper is usually thicker than cardstock, but not always. The thickness of cover paper can range from 60 lb. to 110 lb., while cardstock is generally between 80 lb. and 140 lb.
Cardstock is a heavy paper stock that is often used for business cards, invitations, and other printed materials that need to be durable. 100 lb cardstock is one of the heaviest weights of cardstock and is often used for thicker business cards or invitations that will be mailed.
60 lb paper is a type of paper that is commonly used for printing documents. It is a heavier paper than standard copy paper, and is often used for printing documents that need to be durable or that will be handled frequently.
Cover stock is a type of paper that is thicker and more durable than standard printer paper. It is often used for making greeting cards, business cards, and postcards. Cover stock is also sometimes used for book covers and other types of packaging.
Cover stock paper is a type of paper that has a thicker than average feel to it. Cover stock is often used for business cards, postcards, and report covers. It can also be used for scrapbooking and other crafts.
There are many types of cardstock available on the market, but not all of them are well-suited for cake toppers. The best cardstock for cake toppers is a thick, stiff paper that can support the weight of the decorations without bending or tearing. Many craft stores sell cardstock specifically designed for cake toppers, so be sure to check there first. If you can't find what you're looking for, look for a heavy-duty cardstock that is at least 80-pound weight.
