I needed to replace my old sharpener, so I bought this. It is lightweight, has a clear top, and performs better than I anticipated. There's not much to say outside the fact that it works. I've owned a number of eye pencil sharpeners. One was made of that hard, clear plastic, and it simply cracked with time. Another was a steel one that was made in Germany, but it kept snapping my pencils. Finding a sharpener that would function in that situation was challenging because my eye pencils are made of composite material rather than wood. This Revlon product is great! My pencils weren't broken, and it includes a covered method to capture the shavings. You won't regret buying it, especially considering how inexpensive it is.

I've used a number of sharpeners over the years, and this one is among the best in terms of quality, performance, and other factors. The additional element that can be removed to make it extra pointed rather than more rounded is one that I truly enjoy. I'm using it for an under-the-brow highlighter to brighten/highlight the region. This choice is good because pointed is not at all ideal for this. Additionally, the majority of sharpeners come with a tiny stick that hooks on to aid in removing stuck-on materials from the tool. This one has that as well, but it has it differently—it slips into the hole rather than being attached with a clip. My other ones were constantly in danger of going missing.
