The brushless impact drill I purchased to power a deck renovation lasted three days (21 hours) before needing to be recharged. Just so you know, the impact drill was on level 2. Additionally, I was cutting with my OMT while using the second battery, and I still got three full workdays. Three 7-hour days, please! You can use these batteries to run your 18 or 20 volt cordless tools. You will have more power if you own brushless tools. The batteries can be used with any new Dewalt FlexVolt series and are backwards compatible. What more do you need? They are no joke. These 6 amp hour batteries can run for a total of 12 hours (I got 21 hours), which is more than enough, folks. Without a shadow of a doubt, they are worth the cost. I commend the Dewalt team for a job well done.

I experienced the same issue as several other individuals did when I first got these batteries. For instance, no matter how long it is in the charger, it always displays one bar of charge. There is a very simple solution. I think the charger misreads the voltage and declares the device to be charged. The fix: The battery indicator will be accurate after the red charge light is firm but the battery only shows a partial charge. Lift the battery quickly and put it back in the charger; wait until the charge light begins to blink once more to ensure that it continues to charge. It can take a few attempts for it to begin blinking and charging. The batteries can then be used when it has given it a full charge. They were fantastic batteries that, when fully charged, would last for a very long time. The battery feels warm during charging, which is a sign. When all three green lights on the battery indicator turn on, the batteries are fully charged.Update: These batteries are still functioning properly as of July 18!

Real DeWalt 4AH battery here. Of course the item is a 5-star one! I use it in my blower, sawzall, grinder, 6 1/2 saw, flashlight, and other power tools. It operates flawlessly! As long as I take care of it and don't subject it to excessive temperatures, I'm confident that it will endure a very long time. Dewalt produces some of the best tools in the planet, without a question! I've always purchased DeWalt since they've never let me down, therefore I'll keep doing so.

Oh, right. My Dewalt 20v Brushless tools are great. The 2.0Ah batteries that came with the equipment were the one aspect of the overall package as a Pro that I never found appealing. With one tool I had purchased, I ultimately got a 4.0Ah and I liked it. opted to get a 5.0Ah.1 Brushless tools are generally quite energy-efficient, but when used with this 5.0ah battery, the stupid thing made and installed 23 cabinet boxes while still having a good portion of its charge. There are roughly 40 screws per cab, with anchor screws ranging in length from 3/4 inch to 2 inch. so on half a charge, around 1000 screws. On the 2.0ah, I could have consumed two charges with ease.Given that batteries last 500 charges on average, this beast should last me for a very long time. I'll get more of them as my 2.0's start to fail. With Grunt Grunt Grunt, you can't go wrong. MORE POWER!!!

For the price of one new NiCad battery for my older 18v DeWalt tools, I purchased the entire kit. The Nicads appear to require replacement every year or so. This kit is thorough, fits properly, and functions nicely. In every instrument I've tried the smaller new batteries in so far, they seem to perform flawlessly. They swiftly recharge and retain a charge nicely. You can still place your drill down on the battery and it will stand there just as it did with the old heavy flat NiCads because the new adaptor is slightly angled and the batteries are smaller and lighter than the old ones. The adapter, as some have noted, is rather rigid and much more challenging to detach and attach to another tool than the old batteries. Compared to the previous NiCad batteries, this kit is a tremendous improvement. As numerous reviewers and users have noted in comments and inquiries, the adapter will unquestionably drain the charge to zero if the battery is left in the adapter. When using your cordless device, always remember to remove the battery from the adapter. If not, the battery will be dead when you try to use it again. Really annoying.UPDATE: While hunting for a few more of the 20 volt batteries, I realized what a great deal this is. not just in comparison to the dreadful old NiCads, as was previously indicated, but also in comparison to purchasing the parts separately. Just the two batteries cost around $90. Alone, the adaptor costs roughly $35. Instead than just buying batteries, I might just purchase the entire package again.

Some of the most cost-effective batteries available are these 5.0s. Every one is 1.6 pounds. The Milwaukee M18 tools I own are all powered longer by these than they ever were on XC or small cells. The 5.0 offers greater torque than my 6 1/2 circular saw when shredding plywood sheets for subfloors or roof sheathing. My drills operate all day long without needing to be recharged. The worksite radio can play music continuously from sunrise to sunset without using up all of the battery. Over the course of TWO working days, I have failed to drain one of them with my Fuel impact wrench (driving structural fasteners 4 and 6 inch and pre-drilling and boring through all types of lumber, plywood and beams). Since the start of this battery race, I've had the pleasure of dealing with batteries of the highest quality. I recently used a "High Demand" 9.0 battery in my small blower on high for 45 minutes straight, and the battery still had one bar of charge. A "BEAST" of a battery, the HD 9.0 weighs 2.4 pounds.
