They're being used for DIY camping projects like storage bags and snakeskin hammocks, and thus far they've worked great on all of them.Better than many other cord locks that have a somewhat too small opening, this one has a good size. With no issues, I was able to feed through two strands of shock-cord that were stated as being 1/8" in diameter but were actually slightly over 3/16" in diameter. When you release the cord locks, the strands go through the opening very smoothly with no catching on plastic ridges, barbs, or other obstructions in the hole. The cord locks bite down firmly to prevent slippage.I was unhappy with the cable locks I had bought from many local retailers for much more money in a number of bundles. In Primary Children's Church, I work with our church's young members, who range in age from kindergarten to fourth grade. Each Sunday morning when the kids check in with their parents, they are each given a name tag and a number that is assigned to them. These are what I bought to put on my 6-year-shorts. old's Most elastic shorts for kids have drawstrings that are too short to tie properly without knotting (which makes them difficult to get down in emergent bathroom situations).
