I made the error of keeping a blue pen next to my book in my apron, which resulted in blue ink being spilled all over the book. Turning them over, I like to insert the cardboard backing inside my server book. Each sheet has a plain back, giving me all the space I need. Although the paper is quite thin, this doesn't provide any problems. Even after giving away a few, the 10 pads still lasted me for about a year. Absolutely worthwhile.

About a month after I bought it, it's still going strong! I adore the zipper function since it allows me to store handwritten customer notes and other drawings that I couldn't bear to throw away.The quality is excellent, it has endured longer than my previous server books, and it still fits in my apron while having plenty of space for storage. I adore the pen-holding feature since it saves me from having to awkwardly go through my pockets for a pen.I would admit that while the interior faux leather may not hold up as well, the external faux leather does. Regular scotch tape was used to tape some notes inside, and when I removed the tape, it tore portions of the interior, although it's possible that I was being too rough with it.Other than that, it's generally reliable and neither too big nor too small to clog up your apron. If you wish to decorate it, stickers stick pretty well to the outside of it!
