The 22mm wrench's open ended side had a finish that was severely scratched, and it was the only issue I had with the set. Because the other wrenches were excellent, I suppose that the one just missed quality control. After contacting Tekton via their website, customer support replied via email within an hour to say that they would be sending me a replacement wrench and that I may retain the scratched one as a backup. I'd heard Tekton had excellent customer service, but I've just recently experienced it myself. In the future, I'll surely buy more Tekton tools.*Revised on 9/11/18*My replacement wrench just arrived yesterday, and it looks amazing. I must admit that Tekton's dedication to its consumers by offering a complete product warranty astounds me. In my perspective, Tekton tools are superior to what Craftsman tools were when they were the industry standard for do-it-yourselfers.

Nothing short of a 5-star review makes sense to me at all in this case. This is the closest thing to the ideal tool I've ever used, and I used it to change the timing belt on a 2006 Acura TL V6. It was impossible to make removing the serpentine belt any faster or simpler!Its utility goes far beyond releasing the serpentine belt tensioner; during the timing belt change, I used it to quickly release the idler bolt and a number of other nuts in the small locations on the front of the engine. With the extension handle's strong leverage, you can easily reach fasteners and create a wide variety of combinations. Additionally, it is compatible with all 3/8" drive size pass through sockets made by Apex, including the GearWrench pass through sockets. With the provided drive adapters, normal sockets can also be used, but this obviously adds height compared to just utilizing a pass through socket directly.This item, in my opinion, should be in every toolbox!

I'm not a mechanic or a gearhead, so please keep that in mind. To install a wheel kit on a generator, I needed a couple of sturdy torque wrenches. Because I lack technical aptitude, all I wanted was a tool that would make the task as simple as possible. These spanners were flawless. I required several different size wrenches because the wheel kit came with three different size bolts/nuts.The thing I appreciate about these is that in addition to being strong and durable, the shafts are slanted up so you can apply pressure to the nut at the proper angle and yet make it fairly tight without risking wrist injury while reaching into a small spot. That greatly facilitated my work!The red plastic organizer is another item that I adore. The slots allow the wrenches to easily enter and exit while maintaining good positioning. When you are not using these wrenches, you can slide this organizer into a drawer or hang it on the wall. Knowing me, it will be two or three years before I need them again, but when I do, they will be there for me.These are a great purchase if you're searching for a set of wrenches like this and don't want to pay a fortune. After reading several of the reviews for Gearwrench, I was satisfied with the overall quality of the tools even though I cannot buy Mac or Snap On. Sure, out of 100 evaluations, there may have been 2 or 3, but the company always stood behind the product and, once informed, promptly issued the client a replacement. Even though I have only had a brief time with the wrenches, I wanted to post this evaluation before I forgot. The wrenches have a polished chrome finish that looks good. I was reminded of the old Proto wrenches from the 1960s and 1980s by these tools. wonderfully smooth gloss on a thin design Obviously, the ancient Protos were nearly impossible to break, but only within reasonable limits. It will be interesting to see how long these Toolguards hold up.The roll-up pouch and the addition of extra wrenches on the little end are my preferences.I'll use more of the smaller sizes for the type of work I now do, and if I need a cheater, it will be 18" for the 9/16 and up, and 12" for the 1/2 down.Although I haven't tested the cheater potential yet, nothing too significant...The ratcheting gears move smoothly and each setting has a satisfying clack.The left/right actuator remains firmly in place, and I've never unintentionally switched them when ratcheting.That's a significant quality.I recall when GearWrench first began, and these ToolGuards seem to be of same quality.Although the market for tools is competitive, excellent ones, like the GearWrench and these ToolGuards, are created in Taiwan.I hope ToolGuards eventually broadens their product selection.I apologise for not going into further detail regarding the wrenches themselves; everybody else has done it.They appear to be sufficiently well-built for everyday usage, but if they malfunction, I'll be sure to update the review.kd

This set pleasantly pleased me. It's nice that the roll up pouch is of decent quality because many off-brand gadgets cut corners there.The actual wrenches are very great. They are reliable and convenient to use. Since I work in technology, I utilized them for a while without any problems. They have good bolt and nut fit, comparable to my SK set, I would say. For tools I don't use much, I typically buy off-brand, but I've had a few sets that fit fasteners extremely loosely. These, however, hold firmly.The ratcheting mechanism is reliable, and I've successfully broken lots of rusted bolts away. When I had a problem with one of the wrenches, the merchant handled it superbly and without any complaints.If you're in a tight location, you can quickly do a visual and know which way you need it by looking at one side, which has an arrow to tighten direction so you know which way you're going without having to check with your hand. The arrow out is tightening; stop asking "righty tighty."I would strongly suggest this set to everyone.

In a short period of time, these wrenches have helped me get out of a lot of tight situations. When I have a blown hydraulic hose and the hose I'm chasing runs to a pump or another object that is surrounded by other hoses, I essentially pull out these wrenches. The hose I need to remove is undoubtedly somewhere in the midst of that mess! That usually prompts me to remove two or three additional lines that I'm not even replacing. It's only to provide me access to the hose that I need to remove. These incredibly thin wrenches can help in that situation and save the day. Since they are so thin, I can generally enter at an angle and put on the proper fitting. Since they are so inexpensive, I even purchased a second set of sae and shaved them down even further for those incredibly small spaces. They are also surprisingly powerful! I haven't yet twisted one! Please understand that I am saying to the hairy homeowner or anybody not to buy this set to use as your primary set of wrenches. These are specialized wrenches for certain scenarios involving limited clearance. These wrenches are cut a little larger than their real size, according to other reviewers, who also voiced this complaint. I can assure you that even if they are, I wouldn't notice a thing. Therefore, I can't emphasize enough how much I recommend these grip wrenches if you work in my sector or something comparable! A

In my lifetime, I've bought a lot of tools, some good and some awful. One of my top ten purchases has to be the WORKPRO 8-piece Flex-Head Ratcheting Combination Wrench Set with Organizer Bag in Cr-V Nickel Finish. The tool must function well in order to rank among my top 10, and the flex-head wrench accomplished just that. My dad, who is providing free labor, is responsible for installing the new appliances in the 50-year-old home my daughter recently purchased. The wrench's flexibility made it easier to access difficult-to-reach areas, and the ratcheting mechanism made working in constricted spaces far too simple. I've used two WORKPRO tools so far, and I won't be the last. The brand, in my opinion, is incredibly cost-effective and of exceptionally great quality.
