How do I organize my closet like a stylist?

If you want to organize your closet like a stylist, the first thing you need to do is get rid of anything you haven’t worn in the last year. This includes clothes, shoes, and accessories. Once you’ve pared down your wardrobe, it’s time to start organizing. The best way to organize your closet is by category. First, hang all of your dresses together. Then, group your tops, bottoms, and outerwear together. Within each category, organize your clothing by color. This will make it easier to find

Simple Houseware Foldable Cloth Storage Box Closet Dresser Drawer Divider Organizer Basket Bins for Underwear Bras, Gray (Set of 4) Review:

I got a second set for my socks because I loved these so much when I first bought them for my underpants. They fit wonderfully inside an Ikea Malm drawer, as you can see in the image. There will be one empty space, visible on the right front in my image; however, because it is the same size as the smaller box, you can simply define the space using the borders of those two boxes.I used to keep my socks in a plastic bag, organized by color. The good news was that choosing a pair was as simple as taking a bag out of my bag. Unfortunately, I found it difficult to view everything I had at once, so I frequently chose the socks that were on top.I do have more socks than anyone could ever need, yes. But at least I can locate them quickly now!

Lifewit Storage Bag Large Capacity Reinforced Handle Upgrade Fabric for Clothes, Comforters, Blankets, Bedding, Breathable Foldable Closet Organizer, 3 Pack, 90L, Grey Review:

I like the size of them because it's better for piling in clothes, but I also have board games and other bulky items in another. To set it up correctly, place firm card boards on the bottom first, followed by all sides for better stability. However, you might not want to stack them unless you have a strong surface in the top of each bag. Don't overpack because the bags' strength and durability aren't that excellent. The zippers on all three bags function properly; even if they seem to be damaged, you should merely zip them all the way around and back. I do like how the zippers join together so that, if utilizing a moving company, a small lock can be placed on them. They seem to be solid, but I wouldn't trust their durability if I had to store them somewhere because of the possibility of rodents, mold, or mildew. For storing security, I might put this bag in a plastic tote. I only wanted to give them a try, but so far I'm happy with them. I probably won't buy them again for moving, but maybe for something else. The handles are strengthened, but I haven't tested how well they hold up when they're fully loaded. Nevertheless, I suggest them for their intended function.

6 Pack - SimpleHouseware Foldable Cube Storage Bin with Handle, Beige (12-Inch Cube) Review:

I was looking for a method to arrange my jeans in my closet after getting the Kon Mari bug. My jeans were simply put on a shelf in the closet because I hadn't "Kon Mari"-ed it yet. It could be challenging to choose the pair I wanted if I keep them organized like that (I have three additional cubes of pants, mostly jeans). I wore them when I wore them, and they were a wrinkled mess (I wear them to work, school, church, etc.). They flopped over as I tried to stand them up on end. Enter the Foldable Cube Storage Bin with Handle from SimpleHouseware. The pants fit nicely, are erect without flopping, look much neater when worn, are simple to select, and when I need to transfer them, the cubes are lightweight and simple to hold by the handles, as you can see in my photo. I considered purchasing plastic milk crates, which would be more durable but considerably heavier and more difficult to carry. I'll eventually redesign the entire closet with an organizer system, but for the time being, these work just well for me.

Rubbermaid Configurations 3H8800 3- to 6-Foot Deluxe Custom Closet Kit Review:

Even while I'm generally satisfied with the outcome and I'm glad I didn't use ClosetMaid, which required cutting racks and rails, I encountered some installation difficulties. Short version: Before you begin installing, you might want to go to the hardware store and get $10 worth of extra hardware, including:- #10x2 "Flat Phillips screws (perhaps 4–8 more than what is included in the box)- An at least 2-inch-long 1/8" drill bit (this may sound foolish, but check your set right away. (Mine was too short.)The top rail is first: I don't know where they obtained that figure, but considering that my closet is only 88 "tall, I made the decision to lower it so I could truly make use of all the slots in the rails. Remember to account for any moldings along the bottom, since that will prevent rails from lying flush on the wall! I wanted to use the extensions to create a shoe rack at the bottom, and since the extension upright are roughly 73", I installed the top rail at 80". If my closet were taller, higher would be preferable because I'm a touch short on vertical space with the rods, but don't feel pressured to get the 86.5 ". - The length of your 1/8" drill bit should be at least 2". Despite the fact that I believe my drill bit set to be reasonably typical, my 1/8" bit was only 1.5" long, and the 2 "Until I went to the hardware store for a new drill bit, lengthy screws would not go in.The vertical rails: DO NOT expect that they will hang perfectly parallel to the top rail by nature. Although the instructions made no mention of it, I had to use a level to hang mine because they "naturally" hung crooked by around 20 degrees. Since I had to tweak them, I put additional screws because I knew the top wasn't resting firmly on the top rail. It seems really odd that the instructions only instruct you to attach at the bottom; shouldn't we be aiming for the most secure connection?- The anchors provided are absurdly cheap and useless (see picture). When I went to install the screw in two of them, the anchors just pulled out of the wall, showing that they were not "anchoring" anything. Since the box does include anchors, I choose to purchase some additional #10x2 for this reason "anchors.- Even though I didn't utilize one of the uprights and my top rail was only extended to 6' in length, I used every screw in the box (16 total). Put some extra #10x2 in your hardware store shopping cart "Phillips flat screws. 4–8 more should be sufficient.Attaching the brackets and shelves was simple once the top rail and uprights were fastened to the wall. Before choosing an arrangement I liked, I probably rearranged it 12 times in a half-hour. I enjoy that if my needs change, I can easily reconfigure without having to pull out the drill once more.

Simple Houseware 3-Tier Closet Storage with 2 Drawers, Beige Review:

I embarked on a thorough internet search to find an inexpensive but not tacky organizing solution since I became weary of seeing my shoes and my roommates' shoes lining the wall in front of our front door. At first, I thought of using bamboo racks, but previous clients complained about the poor quality of the design and the materials. This closet storage caught my eye because it not only satisfied my two criteria but also had a high rating on Amazon. The item took a bit longer to arrive than anticipated, but it was worth it because the rack allowed me to successfully pass the entrance!Though the fabric shelves were stretched so tightly by the rack's structure that I worried they might rip, everything turned out okay in the end. When shoes track in dirt, the shelves are simple to clean. While taking up little room, the item can accommodate six pairs of shoes (maybe even eight if some of the shoes were sandals or flats). The pull-out compartments on the bottom are my favorite part. I can tuck things neatly away in the bottom storage area rather than fling purses over kitchen chairs or throw umbrellas on tables.I wanted a shoe rack when I was shopping that I could see myself using again. When I graduate, I plan to take this piece with me.

AmazonBasics Expandable Metal Hanging Storage Organizer Rack Wardrobe with Shelves, 14"-63" x 58"-72", Black Review:

We have put together numerous wire shelving systems from different online and big box retailers. This is unquestionably a winner. The surface is spotless and polished, and the appliance is strong. This is an entire set. good illustrations and clearly put out instructions. Correct labeling and packaging for every component. Parts were provided as an added benefit so that they "went with each step." The plastic shelf liners were a wonderful surprise addition at this pricing point. Chemically sensitive as I am, I had no problems with this machine or its components. The shocking! NO strange or offensive odors! That alone is worth twice as much! I wasn't paid anything for this review. I required a storage space. I ordered this one on a whim. Complete satisfaction.

Cap Rack 2 Pack - Holds up to 16 Caps for Baseball Hats, Ball Caps - Best Over Door Closet Organizer for Men, Boy or Women Hat Collections - Display Racks With Clips, Perfect Holder and Storage Review:

fantastic stuff works flawlessly. Here are some specifics: The rack mounts quickly.- The racks lack an adjustable clasp, however the elastic band at the bottom can be stretched to fit.Fitted hats can be stored on the rack. I topped it with a fitting hat after placing an adjustable one.- When two hats are on it, the plastic tabs don't seem to extend very far. This might alter in the future.- The metal rack hanger clips are thin and don't obstruct the door or frame (no scuffs or scratches)Overall, I'm quite happy and have freed up/reorganized room by moving these hats.

AmazonBasics Closet Storage Organizer with Bins and Shelving Review:

I adore this item. I chose this one because I wanted additional room for shoes and clothing and because I loved the price. It fulfills my needs well. My higher boots can fit on the bottom shelf, which is great because they were previously just left hanging out on the floor. The drawers fit perfectly on the bottom and middle shelves, but since I didn't want to constantly pull them in and out, I chose to put them on the top shelf. The frame was simple to put together and is strong. More of these will likely be purchased by me for the restroom and perhaps by the front door just for shoes. The color is extremely nice, too. I chose the dark gray, and it looks fantastic and certainly isn't inexpensive.

Simple Houseware 3 Pack Foldable Closet Organizer Clothing Storage Box with Clear Window, Beige Review:

I purchased these storage containers so that I could organize all of the linens in our linen closet. I must admit that I was originally a little let down when I took them out of the box. I was hoping for something that felt more like a rough canvas, but these were soft. These bags had to hold a lot of bedding, and I anticipated that the weight would cause them to rupture.WRONG!I have at least two full sheet sets, two queen sheet sets, and three to four twin sheet sets between the three bags. Since they have been in the closet for a few months, no seams have come apart, and my bedding is finally restricted to one area rather than taking up the entire closet. The only other concern I have, aside from the seeming flimsiness (non-issue), is so little that I don't think it would be fair to deduct a full star for it. It's vital to keep in mind that these bags won't "stand up on their own" as you load them due to their flimsiness. To get the most out of the space, you must support the sides into the proper shape. If you can overcome those two issues (like I was able to), I believe you'll be pleased with this purchase.

Whitmor 4 Tier Shelf Tower - Closet Storage Organizer Review:

This is a revision to the review that follows. Because I really enjoy the first rack and it works well, I got a second one. To demonstrate how to assemble, I provided extra images. This time, I was able to assemble everything without the use of any additional tools (unless it bothers your hands to hit hard against the plastic, then I would recommend a rubber mallet).Overall, I was awed by this rack. I got it to use as a stopgap throughout the transfer, and it's still going strong. I didn't anticipate it holding up so well, but I'm planning to get another one. I would strongly advise using a rubber mallet and a second person to help you link the poles and the plastic parts together during assembling (unless you have very strong hands and do not might hitting them hard against the plastic). Although a few of my black pieces had slightly chipped edges, I chose not to send them back for replacements given the circumstances. I'm glad I didn't since it really wouldn't have made a difference, because I can see them too (I do recommend sending back or requesting new pieces if they effect the stability). I presently have a few light-weight items across the top, several pairs of slacks on the lower hanging rack, towels and other odd stuff on the shelves to the side, and women's dress/work shirts on the top hanging rack. Although I believe the hanging racks could hold jeans, I folded mine and put them on the lowest rack out of caution due to the weight. Everything will be OK if you remove your products from the rack, move it to its new location, and then add the items back. However, I have not moved the rack since I put it together, so I cannot comment to how it behaves when being moved. Once more, I'd heartily suggest it and sincerely hope you like yours as well.
