BUT the other remarks regarding the initial chemical / leather odor are true. I cleaned out my case with distilled water, then kept it open for another two weeks. I finished by taking a subpar cigar, crumbling it, adding a few drops of distilled water, and throwing it into the case. I kept this mixture in there for a few days, shaking it whenever I passed by, and closed it but at the 10" length. has a deep aroma like my humidor. I appreciate this case because of its size (6 1/4" closed and 10" stretched), wonderful workmanship, and cedar lining. Yes, it took some fiddling to get it perfect; if this isn't what you'd like to do, get a plastic tube case.

Good boxes. I received all 10 cigar boxes in one big, poorly wrapped package, loosely packed with packing peanuts. They were merely sort of floating. Having said that, I didn't discover any shipping-related damage on any of them.
