Are all USB wall chargers the same?

No, all USB wall chargers are not the same. Some are made to charge specific devices, while others can charge any USB-powered device. The voltage and amperage of the charger also varies, so it's important to check what your device needs before using a particular charger.

Does it matter what wall charger I use?

How do I choose a wall charger?

There are a few things to consider when choosing a wall charger for your device. One is the output voltage, which should be compatible with your device. Another is the output current, which should be high enough to charge your device quickly. Finally, you'll want to make sure the charger is compatible with your country's electrical outlets.

How do I know what charger I need for my phone?

If you're not sure what charger you need for your phone, the best thing to do is check the manufacturer's website. They should have a list of compatible chargers that you can use with your specific model.

iPhone Charger WELAKER 2Pack 6ft lightning Cable iPad cord High Speed Data Sync Fast Transfer Wall Charger 2 Port Adapter Charging Plug(ETL Listed) Compatible With iPhone XS MAX/XR/X/8/7/Plus/6S/6/SE Review:

I feel like I need to replace the fraying wires for my Apple family gadgets every year or two! I discovered a bewildering array of acceptable products while searching on Amazon. Since WELAKER advertised cables as "sturdy enough to endure 8000 bending and repeated unplugging," I chose that brand. For its products, WELAKER gives a 12-month warranty. After placing my order and receiving my goods, I looked over the cord and wall charger. Both things are high-quality, expertly crafted goods. The cable returned immediately to its original shape after being bent repeatedly at the spots where it was most likely to break over a week of testing with no signs of stress. I used my iPhone 6s, iPad Mini, and my wife's iPhone SE to test the WELAKER connections. The 6 feet length is perfect for all general uses because it is tangle-free. I'll update my assessment if any longer-term quality problems emerge. With the aforementioned Apple devices as well as three different power banks, I tested the wall charger. The WELAKER wall charger slashed the time it took for any Apple device to charge. The WELAKER wall charger significantly reduced the amount of time it took to charge a 10000 mAh power bank compared to a previous wall charger, which took 10 hours! I want to get another WELAKER charger for my wife because I was so pleased with the output speed.I draw the conclusion that WELAKER goods offer high-quality, cost-effective non-OEM cables and wall chargers based on the aforementioned visual observations and physical testing. For your consideration, I highly suggest WELAKER brand cables and wall chargers!

Apple 12W USB Power Adapter (for iPhone, iPad) Review:

I purchased this item from Amazon and I purchased the same identical product (for $19) directly from Apple. The two things arrived on the same day, and as soon as I took them out of their shipping sleeves, I was unable to tell which was whose. The wording printed on the product's two components, the font and color of the printing, the box's seal, the booklets inside the box, the plastic envelope enclosing the product—everything—matches precisely. It would be nice to know who is selling this product on Amazon and whether they are an authorized dealer. When I contacted Apple, they said they didn't sell there and that Amazon didn't have any authorized sellers. So I suppose I'll never be certain that this product was indeed created by Apple.

Adaptive Fast Charging Wall Charger Adapter Compatible Samsung Galaxy S6 S7 S8 S9 S10 / Edge/Plus/Active, Note 5,Note 8, Note 9,LG G5 G6 G7 V20 V30 ThinQ Plus EP-TA20JBE Quick Charge (2 Pack) Review:

My Note 8 and this charger were together. When I compared the estimated charging times using this charger to one I already owned from Samsung, they were quite similar. My Note 8 was 22% charged, and it would finish charging in roughly 1 hour and 24 minutes. When I returned after about an hour and a half after plugging it in, it was full. I regret not being more specific with my test, but I guess it was finished after an hour and a half.

Galaxy S7 Adaptive Fast Charging Wall Charger Kit Set with Micro 2.0 USB Cable, Compatible with Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge/S6/Note5/4/S3 (White) Review:

My husband's Galaxy S7 charger had reached the end of its useful life, with frayed cables and everything. We searched for a new charger to see whether it would be simple and affordable to buy one, and we discovered his exact charger for 1/4 of the cost of modern electronics. We decided to give it a try, and it works well, charging his phone even more quickly than the original charger (according to him:-)), and the follow-up call to make sure we not only received our order but were happy with it makes the Spater shop our #1 choice for any electrical things! Excellent work by Emily and her crew!

iPhone Chargers, Pantom 2-Pack Wall Charger Adapter Plugs with 2-Pack 5-FeetLightning Cables Charge Sync Compatible with iPhones and iPads (White) Review:

These chargers will be adored by us. I've placed four orders with them. We abuse our chargers by frequently twisting the codes in different directions while using them to watch television on our iPads and phones. We break the cord for no fault of the charger. (I should probably figure out how to stop doing that.) However, it goes without saying that the shipments are quick and that they never overheat or catch fire, unless we misuse them and snap the cords. I suggest.

USB Charger, Anker Elite Dual Port 24W Wall Charger, PowerPort 2 with PowerIQ and Foldable Plug, for iPhone Xs/XS Max/XR/X/8/7/6/Plus, iPad Pro/Air 2/Mini 3/Mini 4, Samsung S4/S5, and More Review:

I'll say it up front: I adore Anker's offerings. Every single one is always well-built, functional, and fulfills my needs. The PowerPort 2 Elite, in my opinion, accomplishes all of that. One of the first things I noticed about this was that it's a little bit larger than the PowerPort 1 or 2 from earlier versions. There is more room to put something else into the outlet above because the plug is located higher up on the body than it was before. The folding plug is considerably simpler to take down than the old one, which is another good change and a much-needed one.In addition, the design was modified to go from a glossy to a matte appearance. It won't scrape as readily this way, and in my opinion, it looks nicer. What about the wall plug's true capabilities? Anker's Power IQ and VoltageBoost are the highlight feature. These technologies determine how much current each gadget requires (for example, an iPad requires more current than an iPhone), and then they supply the device with that amount of power. Although the technology is far more intricate than that, the fundamental concept is that your gadget charges as quickly as it can. The PowerPort 2 Elite does not support Qualcomm's QuickCharge, except for QuickCharge devices. There isn't much to say about this wall plug aside from that. It can charge up to two gadgets simultaneously at their quickest rates. The exceptional build quality is further enhanced by the weight that is heavier than usual. It comes with a $13 price tag, which is also a really good deal! This is a wonderful option to purchase if you're seeking for a great portable charger for your gadgets.

iPhone Charger YOKERSU Nylon Braided Lightning Cable Fast Charging 2Pack 6FT Data Sync Transfer Cord with Port Plug Wall Charger(ETL Listed)Compatible with iPhone XS Max/XS/XR/X/8/7/6S/6/Plus/SE/iPad Review:

I feel like I need to replace the fraying wires for my Apple family gadgets every year or two! I discovered a bewildering array of acceptable products while searching on Amazon. I decided to try the Yokersu brand's brand-new nylon braided phone cables. Yokersu claims that its new braided nylon cables are higher-quality, more resilient, and have a longer usable life. Yokersu provides a 12-month warranty on all of its goods.I examined the cord and wall charger after purchasing and receiving my goods (Image1-Left to Right). Both things are high-quality, expertly crafted goods. The cable (Image 2) rebounded back to its original shape without showing any signs of stress after being bent repeatedly at the spots where it was most likely to fail over the course of a week of testing. Using my iPhone 6s, an iPad Mini, and my wife's iPhone SE, I tested the Yokersu cords. The 6 feet length is perfect for all general uses because it is tangle-free. The Yokersu cable is equivalent to cables from much more expensive brands (Image4).The three different power banks and the aforementioned Apple products were tested along with the Yokersu wall charger (Image 5). The Yokersu wall charger slashed the time it took for all Apple devices to charge. The biggest difference in charging time was for a 10000 mAh power bank, which took just 4 hours and 45 minutes with the Yokersu wall charger against 10 hours with an older wall charger!RECOMMENDATION: Based on the physical tests and the aforementioned visual observations, I have come to the conclusion that Yokersu goods offer high-quality, cost-effective non-OEM cables and wall chargers. For your consideration, I highly suggest Yokersu wall chargers and cables!

Quick Charge 3.0, Anker 18W 3Amp USB Wall Charger (Quick Charge 2.0 Compatible) Powerport+ 1 for Galaxy S10/S9/S8/Edge/Plus, Note 8/7, LG G4, HTC One A9/M9, Nexus 9, iPhone, iPad and More Review:

I recently upgraded from a first-generation Google Pixel XL to Apple's iPhone XS Max. I was unsure of how to start using wireless charging because I had never done it before. With the provided wall charger and connection, the Pixel XL had excellent wired fast charging right out of the box. Unfortunately, despite the fact that the iPhone supports fast charging, it also comes with a wall charger that charges excruciatingly slowly and a USB A to Lighting connection that doesn't allow fast charging. I gave wireless charging more thought because fast chargers were a bit pricey (at least at the time the iPhone XS/XS Max was released).I basically identified two different kinds of wireless Qi chargers.
