FURminator brushes are definitely worth the money! I have two dogs and their shedding is out of control. The FURminator brushes help to reduce the shedding by up to 90%. They are also great for getting rid of tangles and mats. I highly recommend them to anyone with a shedding pet!
There's no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the effectiveness of deshedding tools on cats can vary depending on the individual cat's coat type and level of shedding. However, many cat owners report that deshedding tools do help to reduce the amount of loose hair their cats shed, making them a worthwhile investment for anyone who wants to keep their feline friend's shedding under control.
Yes, fish oil can help with cat shedding. It can help to reduce the amount of shedding and make the coat softer and shinier.

My two dogs shed as though it were their profession. If they had long coats, it would be unattractive, but these two have short, wiry hair that gets in everything. It has enough force and stabbyness to pierce skin. This shedding bothers me because I detest wearing shoes inside. You see, I frequently get those thick, stabby dog hairs stuck in my feet. They resemble tiny splinters to the extent that tweezers are actually needed to remove them. The dog hair on my feet needs to be removed with tweezers.I bought this comb so I could get rid of some of that hair in a safe and regulated manner. As far as I can tell, it appears to be really successful. The only problem I've ever had isn't with the comb; rather, it's with my stubborn dogs. The back of a dog that insists on keeping his nose on the comb at all times is quite challenging to brush.I heartily suggest it if your dog can manage to remain still long enough for you to use the comb.

My eleven-year-old, short-haired tomcat has never been brushed. It's not that I don't care to groom him; on the contrary, I swear to God I had no idea that cats were supposed to be brushed. Maybe dogs; definitely horses! yet cats? They clean themselves all day long! He has also never taken a bath. Am I a poor cat parent?Anyway, the cat started to get a little rash on his lower back (upper tail?) and I thought it might be better if he didn't ingest so much hair while attempting to scratch it. That's why I bought this brush. The brush is heavy, which was the first thing I noticed when I got it out of the package. It seems to be well-made. The handle is cozy and doesn't appear to be in danger of breaking any time soon. I tested it out on my own hair (is that weird?) and had no problems. This item has undergone human testing! Not a single hair on my head was pulled out by it. What that says about me, I'm not sure. The cat, on the other hand, was overjoyed to discover me in the living room, sitting on the floor. I startled him by running the brush down his back when he approached to look. If your cat trusts you, this might not be the greatest strategy. He gave an initial "WTF" response before settling in for a leisurely lengthy brush. Every few minutes, he would leave and return for more. When I was finished (and the brush wasn't actually extracting anything else from him), I had enough fur to make a new cat. He was lying in the hairball and rubbing his face on the brush when I left the brush on the floor to get a trash bag. The cat, who is really soft, quit gnawing on his butt after a day. So, it was a success.Recommendations:1. Avoid brushing your cat while dressed nicely. This seems like plain logic, but obviously I'm a moron.2. If your yard isn't overrun with hawks or your cat prefers to run away, brush your cat outside.3. Introduce the brush to the cat in the same manner you would a new husband or toy.4. Snap shots of the enormous fur pile this brush creates.

I'm over the moon. We have an English Bull Dog, and although you would assume that given their short hair, they wouldn't shed much, they do, oh my my, do they shed. This is why I bought this brush. I purchased this brush in the hopes that it will reduce shedding, and it did just that. I put it together right away (it was pretty simple), grabbed Rascal, and began grooming him. The previous evening, I gave him another thorough brushing, but this time, I kept having to empty the container since it filled up so quickly. It worked so well on Rascal, who couldn't figure it out but appeared to like the brushing, and I was very pleased with how well it performed with getting rid of the additional hair. I used it till I wasn't having to pull hair from the brush any longer. If you're searching for a brush to remove extra hair to prevent shedding, I can attest that it worked flawlessly for us. I would rate this product a perfect 10 out of 10. I was very satisfied and will keep an eye out for additional things you can get from this company.

I knew it was a gamble to invest money on the Furminator because my cat generally won't allow a brush to come near him, but it turns out that he actually enjoys it! He lies on his side and relishes the entire brushing process. The brush actually worked better than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. My furniture no longer has (as much) hair on it!Prior to having the Furminator brush him, he also had a severe case of dandruff; however, after a few sessions, it has mostly cleared up. His coat appears considerably more shiny as well.

In the past twenty years, I've owned two gorgeous long-haired cats: a purebred Maine Coon and a Chinchilla, which is the breed of the Fancy Feast cat. I am familiar with cat combs because both of my cats needed considerable combing (I've owned five or six throughout the course of my life, and I have to say, I believe this is the best overall). My first cat had very fine yet plentiful fur, and it needed to be combed every day. Before I purchased him, he was a show cat, so he was accustomed to combing. On the other side, my present pet and Maine Coon has a silky, dense, three-layer coat that sheds a lot in the spring. While she enjoys brushing, she detests combing. She will get hairballs if it isn't done once a week, which is not nice with my beige, non-Stainmaster carpet. Just her undercoat is incredible. She weighs thirty pounds, and her tail is covered in more fur than certain cat species are. My favorite cat is a bit of a handful because she is so enormous due to her breed, has twenty sharp claws, and four well-tuned fangs that are skilled at delivering a lethal bite to the jugular. I required a comb with strong teeth that was both light and robust. My cat's fur practically laughed at the last comb I had, which I had used on my Chinchilla for years and which had already broken two of the metal teeth. Not so with this comb, which performs incredibly well on dense Maine Coon furriness thanks to its closely spaced long and short metal teeth. Because of how long and thick my cat's fur is, I wish that all of the teeth were a little bit longer because her fur fills the comb up so quickly. When the comb is complete, it requires some effort to remove the young bear's fur because the teeth are so closely spaced (which would be often). The comb is effective because every time I use it, I have enough extra fur each week to line a pair of slippers, stuff a pillow sham, and construct a fur stole. The hardwood handle is really well crafted and reasonably ergonomic. I couldn't find anything at the local pet stores that even came close, and they were all expensive. The pricing is excellent for the quality. Amazon delivered once again! The teeth are extremely well-made and cannot be bent. Since my arthritic hands tire easily and I must always maintain my death grip on my furball while combing with the other hand, I enjoy that the comb is rather lightweight and simple to hold. This powerful comb will remove A LOT of fur from your pet.

FURminator is not known to get dull over time. The company recommends that you sharpen the blade every few months to keep it in top condition.
No, the FURminator does not have a razor in it.
No, the FURminator does not make cats shed more. In fact, it can help to reduce the amount of shedding by removing loose hair from the coat.
The FURminator is a pet grooming tool that claims to reduce shedding by up to 90%. It has a blade that is designed to reach deep into the coat and remove loose hair. The tool can be used on both wet and dry fur, and it is safe for all skin types. I have not personally used the FURminator, but I have read many reviews from people who have. The vast majority of people who have tried it say that it does indeed work as advertised. They report that their pet's shedding is significantly reduced after using the FURminator
Cats are known for their love of grooming, but sometimes they can get a little too hairy. If you're looking to deshed your cat quickly, there are a few things you can do. First, invest in a good quality brush. There are a variety of brushes on the market, so find one that suits your cat's fur type. Brushing your cat regularly will help to remove loose hair and prevent matting. Second, give your cat a bath. This may not be the most popular option, but it can help to remove excess hair. Be sure
If you share your home with a feline friend, you’re probably all too familiar with the never-ending battle against cat hair. While you can’t completely eliminate shedding, there are several things you can do to help control the amount of hair in your house. First, make sure your cat is well-groomed. Regular brushing will help remove loose hair before it has a chance to end up on your furniture or clothing. Next, take steps to reduce the amount of dander in your home.
