Hertzko Pet Grooming Scissors Set with Safety Round Tip Includes Serrated Blade Scissors for Facial Hair Trimming + Regular Shears for Body Fur Trimming - Suitable for Dogs, Cats, and Rabbits Review:

First off, it was amazing that my scissors arrived ahead of schedule! Additionally, I liked how simple it was to open the packaging. The scissors are great. I have other brands of scissors that are comparable, but I now always reach for my Hertzko. They cut quite easily, thus safety advice is crucial for me. My hands and fingers are severely arthritic, which is one thing I hope would be helpful to some of you. Although I am aware that the majority of users wouldn't be able to use larger finger holes, I still wish there were a choice. The holes' STYLE makes them easier for me to use than their round shape, which is really beneficial. My 9-month-old standard poodle, Grace, is the inspiration behind my purchase. In between visits to a professional groomer, I maintain her trim. She is a really caring friend of mine, and I believe that using these scissors will help me avoid hurting her. I intend to purchase a second set to keep in another room of the house. Last but not least, I believe this supplier cares about providing the customer with the proper product and follows up with you to get your feedback. Also, I enjoy that!

Gimars 4CR Stainless Steel Dog Grooming Scissors with Safety Round Tip, Heavy Duty Thinning Straight Curved Shears with Comb - Titanium Coated Pet Grooming Trimmer Kit for Long Short Hair for Cat Pet Review:

This set is just flawless. To be really honest, I used them on my husband's and daughter's hair in addition to my dog's as well. I was astonished by how sturdy these pieces were. That comb won't bend, which is wonderful because regular combs typically bend and shatter while you're working on densely knotted areas. I have cut the hair around my husband's ears, the hair around all of my dog's foot pads (which was simple due to the sharp edges), the bangs of my 20-year-old daughter, the hair around my 15-year-old daughter's ears, and the hair around all of my dog's foot pads. This kit can be used to maintain human hair, dog hair, and facial hair in a variety of ways. Anyone who wants higher quality grooming equipment but doesn't want to spend a lot of money on them should definitely consider this. Additionally, this would be an excellent Christmas present.

Gimars Titanium Coated 3CR Stainless Steel Dog Grooming Scissors Kit, Heavy Duty Pet Grooming Trimmer Kit - Thinning, Straight, Curved Shears with Comb for Long & Short Hair, Fur for Cat and More Pets Review:

Even if they increased the price, this scissor set is still a fantastic deal (sssh, don't tell them)! Our Schnoodle was so traumatized by the professional groomer procedure that after every grooming session, she would hide under my daughter's bed for the rest of the day - poor thing. I've lately taken on the duty of grooming our Schnoodle myself. I eventually found a terrific set of clippers for her body after repeatedly failing to find scissors for the finishing process. I had already sent back at least two pairs of thinning shears to various retailers since I believed they would not work on our Lily's coat. But my goodness, THESE! They glide so easily and are so sharp that they do just as all the YouTube videos of thinning shears demonstrate! She cuts her beard and fluffy legs with the curved scissors in either hand. The straight scissors are also extremely sharp and cut cleanly. The casing is excellent, and the metal comb does a wonderful job of fluffing out my hair so I can softly scissor where I don't want to slice. I heartily endorse this set! I adore them. Later, I'll provide a picture of Lily before and after the procedure.

Laazar Pro Shears Thinning Pet Grooming Shear - 6.5 42 Teeth Scissors for dogs cats and pets Review:

AUGYMER 5 PCS Rounded Tips Pet Grooming Scissors Kit, Curved Pet Grooming Shears For Cats and Dogs was what I bought. Body Face Ear Nose Scissor In Stainless Steel The thinning shears didn't cut the hair and crossed themselves, despite my paw wishing they would (because everything was so conveniently packaged). I finally gave in and bought these, and I couldn't be happier. The straight edge of these scissors is like a knife, so please use extreme caution! It is SO sharp that even a light touch could easily sever your finger. Despite the fact that I am new to pet grooming, I do find that these shears do a good job of getting the job done.

BOSHEL Dog Grooming Scissors Set - 2 Pet Grooming Scissors – Safe Rounded Tips – 1 Small Micro Serrated Dog Trimming Scissor for Face, Ear, Nose & Paw + 1 Larger Dog Scissor - Dog Grooming Shears Set Review:

To groom my adorable but stubborn 9-year-old Shih Poo (Shih Tzu/Poodle), I bought this pet grooming scissors set about four months ago. Especially for around his face! My Shih Poo used to flee to my Husband whenever I pulled out my other Straight Nose Pet Grooming Scissors, but with these ones, he seemed less wary. I (and my Shih Poo) adore these since the rounded tips allow me to approach his nose, face, chin, and ears without frightening him. Before purchasing, I read a ton of reviews about this set of pet grooming scissors, and the greatest issue I saw was about the screw holding the scissors together! The screw on these scissors occasionally breaks loose but is easily tightened back up, just like it does with many other types of scissors I possess for various tasks (sewing, crafting, even gardening)! Since I purchased this set of pet grooming scissors, I've used it to groom my Shih Poo at least three times with amazing success, and my darling Boy is now much less anxious about each grooming.

LIVINGO Professional Pet Grooming Scissors for Cats & Dogs, Titanium Coated Safe Rounded Tip and Micro Serrated Trimming Shears for Animal Face, Nose, Ear and Paw Hair, 2 Pack 6.5 inch Review:

We buy them to attempt and manage the problem of matting fur on our long-haired cat. Since the scissors' tips were blunted, we were able to groom our cat without hurting or poking her. Although it still required numerous sessions, these serrated edge scissors were ideal for the task. With our purchase, we are quite pleased.

LovinPet Pet Grooming Scissors Professional Dog Cat Grooming Shears with Round Tip Stainless Steel Strong and Sharp Blade Heavy Duty Thinning Curved Cutting Straight Tool Set Review:

The scissors are excellent. This attractive, professional-looking case comes with a number of tools, so the cost is really affordable. The scissors create a really clean cut and are considerably sharper than I had anticipated. The curved scissor is my favorite, and my dogs seem to appreciate it as well.I'm not a groomer, and the only experience I have is accidentally using straight scissors to cut my two "doodles"' fur (which was far more expensive than the grooming cost I would normally spend!).I've learned that the fairly curly fur on my dogs responds "magically" to curved scissors. I can plainly trace the direction in which their fur curls and grows thanks to the curled tip. Additionally, it actually combines. I'm still learning by doing, but using these "Lovinpet Dog Scissors" is so much simpler. Worth every penny I spent on them.No one in my home will ever use these tools to cut paper or make crafts, I can assure you of that! The fantastic scissors kit will be carefully concealed to maintain its edge for a very, very long time!

LILYS PET 7" Right-Handed Pet Round-Tip Grooming Stainless Steel Safety Grooming for Dogs and Cats (Curved Scissor) Review:

I had originally ordered one of these, but when it arrived, the shears' blades were bent and it wasn't functional. Thankfully, I got in touch with customer service, and they were very understanding of the circumstance and even provided me a replacement. I recently received my replacement, and I'm really pleased. As a dog groomer, I needed a pair of shears I could take with me to the shelter for a quick tidy up or visor trim. Finding something secure with balltips that I could aim away from the dog was important to me. I'm not sure if I could do a complete dog with these, but they work great for light tasks like trimming a visor, eye corner, foot, or hygienic area. They are a great value for their pricing. Here is a video I captured showing the new ones being used.

How can I cut my cat's hair myself?

If you're looking to cut your cat's hair yourself, there are a few things you'll need to do to prepare. First, gather all the supplies you'll need: sharp scissors, a comb, and a brush. Next, get your cat comfortable by brushing them and combing through their fur. Once they're relaxed, you can start trimming their hair. Be careful not to cut too much off, and always err on the side of caution. If you're not sure how to proceed, there are plenty of online tutorials and videos that can help.

How can I sedate my cat at home for grooming?

If you need to sedate your cat for grooming at home, there are a few options available. You can ask your veterinarian to prescribe a sedative for you, or you can purchase one over the counter at a pet store. There are also natural sedatives available, such as chamomile or lavender oil. Simply add a few drops to your cat's food or water.

How do I cut my cat's Matts?

If your cat has mats in its fur, you'll need to take special care to avoid hurting your pet while you remove them. First, use a detangling spray on the mats to help loosen them. Then, use a wide-toothed comb to gently work through the mats, starting at the bottom and working your way up. If the mats are very tight, you may need to use scissors to cut them out. Be sure to use blunt-tipped scissors, and take care not to cut your cat's skin.

How do you groom a long-haired cat?

If you have a long-haired cat, you will need to groom it regularly to prevent mats and tangles. The best way to groom a long-haired cat is to use a wire slicker brush. Start at the head and work your way down the body, using long, gentle strokes. Be sure to brush the underside of the cat as well. You may also need to use a comb to remove tangles.

How do you groom a reluctant cat?

If your cat is reluctant to be groomed, there are a few things you can do to make the process easier for both of you. First, try to make the experience as positive as possible by using treats and praise. Secondly, go slowly and be gentle, especially when handling sensitive areas like the face and paws. Finally, have patience and be prepared to take a few breaks if your cat becomes overwhelmed. With a little time and effort, you should be able to successfully groom your reluctant cat.

How do you restrain a well behaved cat?

If you need to restrain a well behaved cat, the best way to do it is to scruff them. To do this, you will need to grab the loose skin on the back of their neck and hold on. This will not hurt the cat, but it will give you control over them. You can then use your other hand to help support their back end.
