First off, it was amazing that my scissors arrived ahead of schedule! Additionally, I liked how simple it was to open the packaging. The scissors are great. I have other brands of scissors that are comparable, but I now always reach for my Hertzko. They cut quite easily, thus safety advice is crucial for me. My hands and fingers are severely arthritic, which is one thing I hope would be helpful to some of you. Although I am aware that the majority of users wouldn't be able to use larger finger holes, I still wish there were a choice. The holes' STYLE makes them easier for me to use than their round shape, which is really beneficial. My 9-month-old standard poodle, Grace, is the inspiration behind my purchase. In between visits to a professional groomer, I maintain her trim. She is a really caring friend of mine, and I believe that using these scissors will help me avoid hurting her. Even if they increased the price, this scissor set is still a fantastic deal (sssh, don't tell them)! Our Schnoodle was so traumatized by the professional groomer procedure that after every grooming session, she would hide under my daughter's bed for the rest of the day - poor thing. I've lately taken on the duty of grooming our Schnoodle myself. I eventually found a terrific set of clippers for her body after repeatedly failing to find scissors for the finishing process. I had already sent back at least two pairs of thinning shears to various retailers since I believed they would not work on our Lily's coat. But my goodness, THESE! They glide so easily and are so sharp that they do just as all the YouTube videos of thinning shears demonstrate! She cuts her beard and fluffy legs with the curved scissors in either hand. The straight scissors are also extremely sharp and cut cleanly. The casing is excellent, and the metal comb does a wonderful job of fluffing out my hair so I can softly scissor where I don't want to slice. I heartily endorse this set! I adore them. To groom my adorable but stubborn 9-year-old Shih Poo (Shih Tzu/Poodle), I bought this pet grooming scissors set about four months ago. Especially for around his face! My Shih Poo used to flee to my Husband whenever I pulled out my other Straight Nose Pet Grooming Scissors, but with these ones, he seemed less wary. I (and my Shih Poo) adore these since the rounded tips allow me to approach his nose, face, chin, and ears without frightening him. Before purchasing, I read a ton of reviews about this set of pet grooming scissors, and the greatest issue I saw was about the screw holding the scissors together! The screw on these scissors occasionally breaks loose but is easily tightened back up, just like it does with many other types of scissors I possess for various tasks (sewing, crafting, even gardening)! We buy them to attempt and manage the problem of matting fur on our long-haired cat. Since the scissors' tips were blunted, we were able to groom our cat without hurting or poking her. The scissors create a really clean cut and are considerably sharper than I had anticipated. The curved scissor is my favorite, and my dogs seem to appreciate it as well.I'm not a groomer, and the only experience I have is accidentally using straight scissors to cut my two "doodles"' fur (which was far more expensive than the grooming cost I would normally spend!).I've learned that the fairly curly fur on my dogs responds "magically" to curved scissors. I had originally ordered one of these, but when it arrived, the shears' blades were bent and it wasn't functional. Thankfully, I got in touch with customer service, and they were very understanding of the circumstance and even provided me a replacement. I recently received my replacement, and I'm really pleased. As a dog groomer, I needed a pair of shears I could take with me to the shelter for a quick tidy up or visor trim. Finding something secure with balltips that I could aim away from the dog was important to me. I'm not sure if I could do a complete dog with these, but they work great for light tasks like trimming a visor, eye corner, foot, or hygienic area. They are a great value for their pricing.
