Best Cat 5e Ethernet Cables in 2020

Mediabridge Ethernet Cable (10 Feet) - Supports Cat6 / Cat5e / Cat5 Standards, 550MHz, 10Gbps - RJ45 Computer Networking Cord (Part# 31-399-10X) Review:

This cord is really thick and the connectors feel sturdy. I frequently plug and unplug this one because I use it for different laptops in the living room. I have another 100 foot cord that I ran through the attic that feels really cheap compared to this cord— every time I disconnect that one from a device I’m worried the plastic tab at the end is going to snap off. I wish I had gotten a sturdier one like this to begin with because I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to annoying task of running another line up there some day when that one finally breaks.

Mediabridge Ethernet Cable (15 Feet) - Supports Cat6/5e/5, 550MHz, 10Gbps - RJ45 Cord (Part# 31-399-15X ) Review:

I've had this cable for over a year and never wrote a review and it occurred to me that I should. Sometimes I turn my computer off and sometimes I only put it to sleep when I'm away from it but I ALWAYS pinch the cable and unplug it from the internet.
The pincher clip thingy on the tip where you plug it in seems to be designed for this as it hasn't broken even from constant and repeated use of plugging and unplugging sometimes several times a day. I feel safer when I'm away from it that it isn't online. I don't know if you ever used any software to see who might be spying on you but there are A LOT of spies from all over the world. EU spies, China spies, major corporations and major universities spy and it's easy to pick up backdoor bugs. So this little safety feature of plugging and unplugging your internet when you are away from it is only common sense.
Yeah I use Virtual Shield VPN when I'm online and when I'm away from my computer I pinch the internet access off. I love this product for that reason.

Mediabridge Ethernet Cable (50 Feet) - Supports Cat6 / Cat5e / Cat5 Standards, 550MHz, 10Gbps - RJ45 Computer Networking Cord (Part# 31-399-50X) Review:

I purchased this product because I needed an ethernet cable that was long enough to reach my room and connect directly to the router without compromising the connection. I hooked this up directly to my TV and my laptop and was able to get max speeds without and connection issues. I can cast 4k quality videos on my TV without a hitch, and I can do the same on my laptop through USB-C. I've purchased more expensive cables from Walmart in assorted lengths that are terrible. This ethernet cable is a worthy and reliable investment for your internet usages.

Mediabridge Ethernet Cable (100 Feet) - Supports Cat6 / Cat5e / Cat5 Standards, 550MHz, 10Gbps - RJ45 Computer Networking Cord (Part# 31-399-100X) Review:

I like this 100 foot cable and if I have a network problem I can plug this cable into a network hub and connect a remote device and trouble shoot the connection problem. It is also great for connecting two hubs together to set up a larger network.

I used to make my own Ethernet cables, especially if they were long ones. They were so expensive that I would just cringe at the high prices stores wanted for them. These Mediabridge cables are high quality and they are very nicely made. All of the cables I ordered worked fine and I virtually have no complaints.

I installed several new Ethernet switches in my home and I needed some good cables to wire up a new Access Point, video security system and to stream videos to several locations. I have a super powerful WIFI network but for speed and reliability you just can't beat a wired Gigabit system. I also use multiple servers to back up my computers.

Theses cables are ½ to ¼ the price of the same quality cables sold at other stores. I highly recommend these cables and I am glad I didn't have to make my own again. I purchased multiple length cables and I was happy with them all. All of the cables came with Velcro tie straps to help you roll up the excess cable or to coil it up and put it into your computer bag. I purchased multiple 15 foot, 25 foot, 50 foot and 100 cables. I have no complaints at all.

These cables are all still working well and I would continue to purchase them again. Simpler and easier than making your own cables and I was able to route them quickly to rewire part of my home.

These cables continue to perform well and they have helped me improve my Ethernet system in my home.

Mediabridge Ethernet Cable (25 Feet) - Supports Cat6 / Cat5e / Cat5 Standards, 550MHz, 10Gbps - RJ45 Computer Networking Cord (Part# 31-399-25X) Review:

I purchased 5 of these cables of various lengths and I have had no problems at all. I tested them and then installed them. A good product for the price. I ran one cable from my main floor of my home to the basement to install another network switch and it is working fine.

The cable was tough enough to be fed through the floor and run above a drop ceiling to reach the remote network switch without any problems.

I am in the process of installing another network switch to use 1 GHz Ethernet speeds to some of my remote streaming devices. I like these cables a lot!

For the money, they perform well and I would purchase them again. Don't get suckered into paying high dollars for brand names that promise more performance!

I am happy with the quality and the reliability of these cables.

They work well and are reasonably priced.

Mediabridge Ethernet Cable (15 Feet) - Supports Cat6 / Cat5e / Cat5 Standards, 550MHz, 10Gbps - RJ45 Computer Networking Cord (Part# 31-299-15B) Review:

The folks at Mediabridge probably don't get much sleep; they stay up all night trying to think of ways to make this cable even better! The cable has none of the problems you may have had with lesser cables. The release lever easily removes the cable from a jack. The strain relief makes it very unlikely that this cord will separate from it's working end.

And then there are the multitudes of technical standards and features... of which I remain blissfully ignorant about. No matter: this cord simply works so well that you would never suspect it if there was a problem in your system. I like things that can be depended on and I am willing to pay a dollar or two more for that luxury.

The cable comes with a free Velcro strap to help with cable organization. Even the package this cable comes in is a big step up from the miserable wire twist ties that cables usually come with. The package securely holds the cable and has a transparent window to view the contents. You'll want a bunch of these packages to store your spare cables---that's easy---just buy more cables from this company!

Cables Direct Online Snagless Cat5e Ethernet Network Patch Cable White 50 Feet Review:

Purchased this ethernet cord shortly after the stupid clip on one my previous ethernet cord snapped off (don'tcha hate when that happens?).. Anyways, I have Verizon Fios Gigabit internet in my home (940mb download to be exact, but they still call it Gigabit, go figure) and was in need of this cable. Sure if you have lower speed internet it will still work, but this ethernet cable is CAT 5e which means not only can it handle 10mb speed like CAT 5, but also 1000mb or Gigabit speed internet. Checked the speed on speedtest.net and sure enough it gets me around 900mb download and 940 upload so yes this is real CAT 5e ethernet cable. Its thinner compared to my last ethernet, but don't let the size fool you. This is real Gigabit ethernet cable right here. Recommended.

iMBAPrice - RJ45 Network Cable Tester for Lan Phone RJ45/RJ11/RJ12/CAT5/CAT6/CAT7 UTP Wire Test Tool Review:

Our house is four years old so new enough to have the whole damn thing wired for networking and they also used network cables for the "phone" jacks...so there are a lot of jacks all over the house! Trouble is, the builder didn't label any of the cables back at the wire box. That was not really an issue at first cause I just plugged everything into the switch and who cares what goes where. The two in my office, one network and the "phone" I just used for my PC and NAS and all was well. We switched ISP's and the new one has a modem with the wireless router separate vs all in one. Given that I wanted the router upstairs in my office for a couple of reasons so I needed to know which of these two jacks became which two cables downstairs. This little guy made that simple. It feels kinda cheap and I don't imagine it would hold up to too much regular use. I went ahead and labeled all my cables so its pretty much a one-time thing for me so it lasted as long as I needed it to :)

Definitely worth the money for my use!
