For a dominoes game where we trade dominoes with other players, I ordered this spinner. We were utilizing a small, horizontal, flat spinner with four colored regions that was intended for a board game. The flat spinner's fault was that it appeared to distort, which reduced the randomness of the spins. This issue was fixed by the Redlek Spinning Prize Wheel, which also provided us with a superior spinner. The vertical post makes it simple to pass to a player who needs to spin, and it is the ideal size for table top spinning. The drama of spinning is enhanced by the click-click sounds, which also appear to be entirely random. Writing on the surface with a dry erase marker, which was included with the spinner along with an eraser, is one feature I appreciated in particular. In every way, this was a terrific purchase! Let's start with the package, which should be reliable, well-organized, and have instructions. For the unlikely event that something breaks, it even came with a few more "pegs" and an extra "flipper"! With their simple to follow instructions and screwdriver, it was put together in a short amount of time. The bottom of the base has four rubber suction cups to hold it in place on smooth surfaces, which is a cool feature I didn't notice until I tried to remove it from the smooth top table I was assembling it on (it may have been in the description and I overlooked it, but I was looking for that feature anyhow, just as a bonus for me!). It spins smoothly, and tension can be simply changed by just slightly tightening or loosening the screw holding it together on the rear. It's not particularly complex or scientific, but it works VERY well. For my initial testing of the (nearly forgot to mention) INCLUDED wipeoff marker (black) and eraser, I left the plastic film on the flat surface. Here's a suggestion for something I did that the manufacturer could find useful to include in a version 2... I did the same for the "spare parts" (using a ziploc so they won't fall out) and taped it on the back post too. I put the pen and eraser in a tiny plastic bag and taped the back to the stand on the rear so I can carry it around/store it without loosing it. Overall, a GREAT product that was carefully planned and produced! If I could, I'd give it six stars.

This was a huge success that we set up for a sponsored event by our company. The whole evening, there was a line at our table. We used it to distribute giveaway prizes. Although we had already planned to distribute the goods, something about spinning a wheel enticed everyone to stop by and try it out. This item is ideal if you want to draw attention to your booth during a fair, tradeshow, or other event. We simply printed, cut out the small slips of paper, and pasted them on using double-sided tape on the back of the paper in place of the whiteboard marker. Great results!Apart from my fingers getting a little fatigued when putting the screws on, putting it together was fairly simple. At our event, it was probably spun 600 or so times, and it's still holding up well, so I'd say it's reasonably durable. Despite the "Heavy Duty" in the title, the base isn't as heavy as I had anticipated, but it still held up well.One thing to note is that the wheel won't spin very well if the washer/screw on the back of the wheel is tightened too much. I could hardly get it to make a firm spin around the wheel, so I slightly loosened the back screw and it immediately started working well!

loved this product from the start. Simple to put together; one piece was missing, but it was sent to me quickly away once I alerted the vendor to the issue. Everything was fine until last week, when the wheel appeared to be out of balance. On a spin, when it was almost stopped entirely, did you notice that it reversed like it was weighted? each spin now appears to land on the same color. spins more freely the other way around than the clock.
