My review will focus on how it works for my brows and eyelashes because that is why I purchased it.Genetics, pregnancy, certain disorders, over-plucking, being the Mona Lisa or Whoopi Goldberg, or - in my case - simply getting older can all cause loss or thinning of your brows and/or eyelashes. Naturally, there are products available that claim to aid with lash and/or brow growth; these products can cost anywhere from $20 to $200. But do you know what the major component of those products is, independent of the price? Castor oil, indeed. I won't personally pay even $20, much less $200, for something I can buy for far less. especially if I'm not certain if it will actually work. But if it does, I'll be happy to pay $9 plus free shipping to find out.Of course you have questions "Well? Did it succeed?" I'll give you some support. Here is how you should apply it. At night, after washing your face, coat your brows and eyelashes with a fresh spoolie brush. Leave it on all night and remove it the next time you wash your face in the morning. Simple, right? Sure, until you discover you need to store the castor oil in a smaller, more portable container than the large bottle it comes in in order to avoid contaminating or spilling it. Additionally, not everyone has a spare spooly brush lying around to employ for this purpose. Fortunately, those obstacles are simple to overcome. In order to keep the oil clean and safe, I poured a tiny amount into a shot glass and put the shot glass in a Ziploc bag. The remaining oil is kept in a cupboard for storage. Castor oil is packed with vitamins and EFAs, the substances that feed your hair and give it fullness and shine, just like a good hair conditioner. And even while we frequently treat our hair—I, at least, do so since I have thick, curly, coarse, multiracial hair—we don't do the same for our brows or eyelashes. In reality, every time we wash our faces, we remove their natural oils. Furthermore, the creams and lotions we apply to our faces are not intended to nourish the facial hair as well. My brows and eyelashes had an EFA infusion from the castor oil, which caused each hair to sort of plump up and appear fuller and thicker. So much so that when I did my makeup, the customary thin layer of mascara I use gave the appearance that I was wearing artificial eyelashes. Additionally, I didn't need to use as much brow powder to fill in my brows as normal. And that was after using castor oil just once.While it did make my brows and lashes fuller and thicker, it doesn't address the subject of whether or not it actually causes them to renew. But I'll venture a guess. The nutrients in castor oil might be able to jump-start sluggish hair follicles if that's all it takes. Over time. I doubt it, though, if the follicles have been injured in any way (for example, I have a scar that goes through the end of my left brow and has been there for decades). I mean, nothing can magically heal damaged follicles. Additionally, it's unlikely if your brows or eyelashes have thinned as a result of a disease or medicine as a result of a disease, with the exception of conditions like cancer and chemotherapy, where hair may regrow following treatment. But once more, it would happen AFTER the illness or drug had finished working.Having said that, I bought and used this castor oil on my brows and lashes in an effort to enhance their appearance and was absolutely successful in doing so. I'll keep using it on a regular basis. I'll be overjoyed if it also stimulates hair growth in that scar of mine!Oh! I failed to mention that, other from feeling a little strange, it did not burn or irritate my eyes when the oil got in them on the third night I used it. tells me that this product is completely free of chemicals and additives. Plant Therapy is fantastic. They are continuously trying to delight their clients and to me, represent quality. This fractionated coconut oil is by far my favorite carrier oil, and I have a sizable collection of oils and hydrosols from them. It is non-staining, colorless, odorless, and settles in quickly. At any temperature, it remains liquid and continues to moisturize like regular virgin coconut oil. The pump makes it really simple to use, and it works great for dilution of your favorite essential oils in rollerballs. This thing genuinely impresses me. My son loves bubbles, so I bought glycerine so I could make homemade bubble mix. Then I started reading more information about this product and noticed that others had mentioned how effective a moisturizer it is. During my study, I discovered a wealth of additional information about how beneficial this is for skin.Because my son and I both have eczema, I have been using this along with our regular lotion after baths and showers (plus a bit extra in between for my son). In the winter and summer, when my skin is especially dry, I occasionally have to supplement my lotion with other ingredients to provide some relief. Normally, I apply coconut oil to both myself and my baby, but for some reason, it makes him break out, so I've been using this glycerine as a rash treatment instead. My son's skin is less red and his eczema rashes are starting to fade when I put this into his skin at night after he takes a bath and a little extra between times during the day. I've been using this glycerine for about five days on my son's eczema rashes and all over, and I've noticed a difference.Although I am aware that it is food-grade and safe to consume, I have no experience with it. I've bought coconut oil before, but this is the best. A little goes a long way, and it smells quite delicious. It's time for my relaxer and I have permed hair. I must admit that I can hardly comb through my hair because of how thick my roots are. In a glass jar, I placed some coconut oil and heated it over boiling water. I divided my hair into four pieces and applied oil from the roots to the ends. I covered my hair with a trash bag and a bonnet while sleeping with oil in it. The next day, I used a Sulfate-free shampoo to remove the oil, and my hair now appears to have received a relaxer. My hair is very soft and easy to handle!
