I'm not sure how others utilize them, but I do so to aid my trailer's carts prevent rolling around. They seem to operate better than ratchets and tie-downs, which can eventually "give," in my experience. Just past these that I have installed on my e-track, I roll two carts into my trailer and then position the 2x. It works flawlessly and is quicker than tie-downs. Very happy.

Installing this product was simple. If the instructions are followed, there should be no problems. Having said that, you must use the self-threading screws that the package includes because the screw holes in the truck bed are not threaded. The screws should be threaded using a drill, as per the instructions, as this requires less effort to start the screws. Because the canister for some rollup tonneau covers prohibits direct access to the top screw closet to the front cab, the only thing I can advise, because it occurred to me, is to install these plates before adding the covers. It's difficult to start a self-threading screw when there isn't even enough room for a ratchet wrench to fit. Because the canister from the tonneau cover was in the way, I had to spend maybe a half-hour on just one screw. This is not the product's fault. The Ford black premium locking tie down cleats that I bought fit the bracket perfectly. One thing I did observe is that if the plates are tightly fastened to the truck bed, it is challenging to slide in the tie down cleats. To slide the tie downs in or out, I had to slightly loosen the screws. Just an FYI, if you slide the tie downs in after installing the plates but they won't go in, simply loosen the screws, insert the tie downs, and then tighten the screws.

Flooding on top of an automobile is not good. There's nothing quite like having your hood well-lit. This gave me the opportunity to relocate the flooding to a more advantageous location. Installing these items is reasonably simple and they are sturdy. I installed mine between an aftermarket bumper and a hawse plate, however I had to purchase new fasteners because the hardware was too short. Although not the manufacturer's fault, installation should take this into account.Overall, a clever, well-made, and reasonably priced solution. Recommended.

The only problem I encountered, which may have been caused by my own mistake or the fact that the lightbar I had was also secondhand, was that the holes on the lightbar didn't line up with the Whelen light brackets. I used this on a built, second-hand back rack, and they attached perfectly to it. I still had to slightly drill out one of the holes in order for the alternative technique I used to work. Overall, these worked well enough because I couldn't bend or weld my own unique set.

The equipment is useful (and it or something similar comes with many gearbox coolers, mind you) and in a variety of inventive ways might assist many vehicles in improving attachment, but not all; there must be something to connect to.

Black textured powder coat for durability and matches the finish of most racks and ladders

This was ideal for my Xterra's Gobi ladder. This alternative is ideal for mounting my rotopax gas because my roof top tent uses up all the space on my front runner rack. Since this kit only consists of an extended bolt and a backing plate, a rotopax mount is required before using it. This took me approximately 10 minutes to install. very simple Additionally, you may want to confirm that the struts on your back hatch can support the additional weight of your gas. To see if they can support the additional weight when opened, I ordered some from Gobi but have not yet received them. As soon as I get them, I'll update.

For my 2014 Mazda 5 van, I purchased this, the fit Kit 3080, and 58-inch crossbars. I previously owned a 2004 Toyota Corolla with Thule roof racks. It was a lot simpler to install this set. The secret was in the already hard points on the Mazda roof. Compared to the gutter clips I had to use on the Corolla, they really make installing a rack lot simpler. At first, the list of items you need can be a little unclear. Actually, the "fit kit" bolts into the hardpoints on the car's top. You mount the bars on the podium kit, which bolts into a wing of the fit kit. Therefore, for it to work together, you need the three distinct components. Cross bars, a podium kit, and a fit kit.The podium feet are divided into two parts: the part that attaches to the fit kit bracket and the fascia piece with the Thule logo that beautifies the podium's exterior. The fascia plate is fastened to the bolt-on element via a twist plug. Ensure the twist plug is securely fastened to the fascia plate and that it is installed appropriately. I believed I had it, but as I inserted my fingernails behind the plate to pry it apart, it just came off. To avoid having your fascia plate(s) come off on the motorway, be extremely cautious and verify the security.
