This kit is good for the price. One of the most essential things to me is that the quality is good and that utilizing this kit, my system is producing practically no "engine noise." The ground wire is the one that many novice installers goof up, so be sure you attach it properly. It might make noise if installed on a painted portion of the car. To ensure a smooth, solid connection, I always grind down the location I'm mounting the ground to, which is typically around a seat bolt or other somewhat sturdy object.You will need a crimp tool or pliers to crimp the connectors, which are all in good condition. The remote wire is modest yet effective, and the RCA wires are of average quality. Nice fuse holder that's simple to mount and connect. Although it works, I believe the speaker wire is a touch too narrow if you are powering a subwoofer. The gauge can be effectively lowered by one level by doubling it (every lower gauge is double the thickness of the previous gauge). By lowering resistance, you'll put less stress on your amplifier and possibly get a better sound with less distortion.In any case, this wiring kit is good. Nice price, good quality. It makes me joyful.

Overall, it worked well for a compact amp setup. True 4 awg wire is used for the power wire. However, it is still superior than some that are much less than 4ga. This is actually closer to 6, but I just recently purchased a kit that has more jacket than wire. Although it was 4 ga, it was actually more like 10. Therefore, this kit provided enough power when I utilized it. The hardware is subpar, as it is with most cheap kits. However, I didn't have to discard the hardware thanks to a light crimp and solder. The wire is flexible and of good quality, and the coloration is lovely. I was shocked at the speaker wire. Along with the patch cables and remote wire, it is of high quality. I would repurchase this for a compact system.

With this kit, I am able to operate a Rockford Power BD 1000; I didn't use the remote wire that is included in the RC cables. Although the cables and remote wire are of poor quality, I did use them because my cords were far too long. I like the fuse block but wish it had a few more 4 gauge butt connectors. But the power and ground wires were truly the reason I bought this kit, and they lived up to my expectations. The greatest wire I've ever used, this oxygen-free copper wire is genuine four gauge and has a beautiful soft workable feel. It's highly robust but incredibly flexible. I liked the black and red wire ends it came with for speaker wire and the main wires as well; good touch. Handles the heat from my high performance engine with ease. It's a well-made kit, and all of its components function properly. However, the main wires are what really make the kit a game, and I would have spent that much just for them; everything else is free to me. I would advise attempting to get an equal quality set of true gauge power and ground (same length) alone for less money if you have any complaints about something about the window dressing it comes with. I advise anyone who desires premium wire to power their amplifier. Don't cut corners when powering the expensive machinery you use.

I only had to make one adjustment to them. This is attached to the wiring behind my stereo. My Pioneer GM-D8500M is connected to this LOC by a set of RCA cords. I have my amp's gain set slightly above maximum, and if I feel the need to tweak it more, I can do so by adjusting the gain on the LOC. Although I can modify the remote level bass boost on my amp, I never fiddle with it. Anyone looking to install ONE amp in a car radio without pre-amp outs should consider this device, in my opinion.
