Best Car Amplifier Wiring Kits in 2020

InstallGear 4 Gauge Complete Amp Kit Amplifier Installation Wiring Wire Review:

For the price, this kit is nice. The quality is fine and I am getting absolutely no "engine noise" from my system using this kit, and that's one of the most important things to me. Make sure you do a good job attaching the ground wire, that's the one that messes a lot of first time installers up. If you install it on a painted part of the car, it may introduce noise. I always grind down the area I'm mounting the ground to, usually around a seat bolt or something fairly strong so it's a nice solid connection.

All the connectors are fine, you will need a crimp tool or a pliers to crimp them. The RCA cables are pretty good quality, and the remote wire is small but works well. Fuse holder is nice, easy to connect and mount. I think the speaker wire is a little small if you are powering a subwoofer, but it works. You can double it up which effectively lowers the gauge by one level (every lower gauge is double the thickness of the previous gauge). This will help reduce resistance which puts less strain on your amp and can result in better sound with less distortion.

Anyway, this is a good wiring kit. Price is nice, quality is fine. I'm happy with it.

SoundBox Connected True 4 Gauge Amp Install Kit AWG Amplifier Wiring Complete Cable-SuperFlex 3500W Extra Long 20 Ft. Power Wire Review:

Overall this was useable for a small amp setup. The power wire is bot true 4 awg wire. But it is better than some that are far less than 4ga. This is more like 6 but i recently bought a kit that included more jacket than wire. It was labeled 4 ga but was more like 10. So when i used this kit it actually put out enough power. As with most cheap kits the hardware leaves alot to be desired. But with a light crimp and solder i didnt have to throw the hardware out. The coloring is nice and the wire is flexable and decent quality. The speaker wire surprised me. It is good quality, as is the patch cables and remote wire. I would but this again for a small system.

KnuKonceptz Kolossus 4 Gauge OFC Amplifier Installation Kit Review:

I run a Rockford power bd 1000 with this kit, I didn't need the remote wire that is built into the rc cables. I did use the cables because mine where way to long, they work fine but the cables and remote wire are of cheap quality, i like the fuse block, really wish it had a few more 4 gauge butt connectors. But the reason i paid for this kit was really the power and ground wires, and add i expected they did not disappoint. This oxygen free copper wire is true four gauge and is the nicest wire I've ever used, very sturdy but extremely flexible with nice soft manageable feel. Handles the heat from my high performance engine with ease, i did like the black and red wire ends it came with for speaker wire and the main wires also, nice touch. It's a well put together kit ,all of its pieces work satisfactorily, but the star of the show the main wires really brings its a game, and i would have paid that price for them wires only, everything else is just Pro bono to me. If you have any complaints because you didn't like something about the window dressing it comes with i would suggest trying to find an equal quality set of true gauge power and ground (same length) alone for less money. I recommend to anyone who wants top quality wire powering there amp. The equipment you run isn't cheap, don't go cheap supplying it with power.

SCOSCHE LOC80 Car Stereo Speaker 2-Channel Audio Adjustable Level Lineout Converter Review:

Cheap LOC that works great. I installed in in a 2014 prius II to the stock non-nav stereo using T-Tap connectors. Easy to install. No remote or ground wire. Just a Left and Right (+) and (-). The picture is misleading because it shows 6 wires, but there is only the four. All the reviews I saw complained about breaking the gain controls, but I have never had a problem. I only needed to adjust them once anyway. I have this connected to the wire harness behind my stereo. I have a set of rca cables running from this LOC to my Pioneer GM-D8500M. I have the gain on the LOC set slightly above half, and if I feel the need, I can fine tune it by adjusting the gain on my amp. I never mess with it though because my amp has a remote level bass boost that I can adjust. I would recommend this thing to anyone who wants to install ONE amp in a car stereo with no pre-amp outs. If you need to install more than one amp, just buy two!
