Vech Camping Silverware Kit Cutlery Organizer Utensil Picnic Set - 12 Piece Mess Kit For 2 - White Plate Spoon Butter and Serrated Knife Fork Hiking - Camp Kitchen BBQ Travel Review:

I got this to take camping. I really needed a set of four, but I figured I'd give this a shot and, if it worked, buy another. The enamel sets that you frequently see haven't worked out well for me. I'm satisfied with this set and will likely buy another. Despite being made of plastic, plates are sturdy enough to last if handled with care. The dishwasher didn't destroy anything. The addition of the cutting board is wonderful. Despite being modest, I've seen comparable sale for half the price of this complete bundle. My favourite component is definitely the case. It keeps everything safe without taking up a lot of room. Overall, I'd suggest buying this product.

Bisgear Camping Mess Kit - 4 Person Lightweight Dinnerware Family Set with Plates Bowls Cups Mugs Sporks Carabiner & Mesh Bag - Perfect for Hiking & Backpacking, Picnic, Family Vacation Review:

Even though we were eating in a dining hall, I brought these with me to our Boy Scout summer camp this year so we could have some dishes at the campsite. The sporks, bowls, and plates were used numerous times when I made dutch oven cakes and cobblers, and the cups were used often each day for coffee or hot chocolate. After the journey, everything held up perfectly and still looks brand new. I really like the mesh carry bag for transporting things; however, I wish that part of the bottom had mesh as well so that you could put everything inside and hang it up to dry. Definitely suggest, and I might buy a second set as well.

GSI Outdoors Cascadian 1-Person Table Set Review:

The cup, bowl, and plate are all very well-made. The utensils are not particularly outstanding, particularly the spoon, which is fragile, weirdly formed, and generally useless. Expect to carry additional silverware in addition to what is included. However, the dishes feel high-quality; consider Tupperware. Actual Tupperware, not that 4 for $1 Ziploc garbage. Although they are sleek and attractive, they are highly inflexible. If you want to keep them looking glossy and attractive, it's probably not a good idea to put them in the dishwasher. The appearance will deteriorate more quickly even though they are dishwasher safe. They were purchased for a girl scout camp and have held up well. Dishes are quite sturdy; utensils are not included. (Instead of the utensils provided, we used titanium travelware; see photos.)

Camping Mess Kit 4 Person Dinnerware Set with Mesh Bag - Complete Dish Set Includes Plates, Bowls, Cups and Sporks - Perfect for Backpacking, Hiking, Picnic and Much More Review:

To save waste, our troop has started using mess kits while we camp. After spending a lot of time reading reviews, I'm happy I bought this package. The bowls are a fantastic size, the cups are not tiny, and the plates have excellent rims. The utensils are the only item we won't be using. I can't remember if the spoon has a knife on the side, but it looks like it may cut your mouth. I merely swapped them out for some reliable, reusable plastic ones. The bag is sturdy enough to dry by hanging on a line.

Bisgear 13-34pcs Stainless Steel Tableware Mess Kit Includes Plate Bowl Cup Spoon Fork Knife Chopsticks Carabiner Wine Opener Dishcloth & Mesh Travel Bag for Backpacking & Camping Review:

In July 2019, I paid about $32.99 for this item, which is called "Bisgear 20pcs Stainless Steel Tableware Mess Kit Includes Plate Bowl Cup Spoon Fork Knife Chopsticks Carabiner Wine Opener Dishcloth

Unique Complete Messware Kit Polished Stainless Steel Dishes Set| Tableware| Dinnerware| Camping| Includes - Cups | Plates| Bowls| Cutlery| Comes in Mesh Bags Review:

A few weeks back, I bought the two-piece set and went camping with it. Very great set that is strong and sturdy and takes seconds to clean. Both adults and children can use the cups without any issues. Awesome silverware is present (the knife can definitely cut through regular meat). I heartily urge anyone seeking for a quality set to get this one. Worth every dollar spent. Additionally, the carrying bag is very lovely. Both on the set and in the bag, the logo is etched. With plenty of room to spare, the plates and intestines can hold soup, pasta, and meatballs. Love, love, love this set. We'll have this for at least the next 20 years. This is what I purchased for our scout camping trip with my kid.

STANSPORT - Deluxe 24-Piece Enamel Tableware Set: Plates, Bowls, Mugs & Utensils Review:

Because I am typically ready to spend extra money for high-quality items that will last, I had previously purchased the GSI Outdoors Pioneer Enamel Table Set. We frequently go camping with several people, thus the four piece set was simply insufficient for us. Additionally, we needed additional plates and bowls for serving meals. I purchased this set to compare it to others, and I must admit that I am unable to notice the difference in quality. Compared to the GSI set, the plates are a little bit flatter. The cups and bowls are a little bit smaller. Actually, the bowls' shape appeals to me more. Compared to the GSI set, they feature greater vertical sides.Although the GSI kit doesn't contain utensils, as other reviewers have noted, the silverware isn't the best and does appear entirely useless. I'll probably take them camping with me till they cease working. Overall, it's a fantastic offer at 1/4–3/5 the cost of the GSI set.

gear4U Camping Cookware Kits - BPA-Free Non-Stick Anodized Aluminum Mess Kits - Complete Lightweight Mini Folding Pot Kits with Utensils for Camping Hiking Backpacking and Survival Cooking Review:

The goods are small because they are designed to be portable and lightweight for hikers and campers. Easily fits in a backpack. The items that collapse are neat, and everything stacks. Perfect for one, maybe two people. NOT intended to feed a large household. There are numerous complaints regarding the size, yet the measurements are VERY clearly mentioned, and they even display the precise size of the cups (which hold a normal-person size drink). It's not designed for RVs; it's made for small backpacks. People should read the description before criticizing because it is quite specific and accurate. Excellent for scouts and those who are 'roughing' it. Not for "campers" who drag their entire house along. They're fantastic for trekking and camping trips.

Rothco GI Type Stainless Steel Mess Kit Review:

Despite being 90% lighter gauge stainless steel than its military-issue version, this mess kit is nonetheless robust enough to readily withstand all the camping and backpacking expeditions it is likely to be put through by us ordinary "civilians." Both the pan and the plate have excellent stamping and edge finishing; there are no sharp edges or "puckering" of the stamped surfaces to trap food particles. Both sides' complete surfaces have been brush-polished to a high gloss and are free of oxidation or other imperfections. The hinge for the lock bar is quite robust, and the three rivets that secure it to the pan are strong and do not have mushroomed heads. My worn and dented WWII-era mess kit, a faithful replica of which I recently retired, won't be missed because it added unnecessary bulk to my pack. Made in China, yet proudly produced.

Can you fry in a mess tin?

A mess tin is a small, lightweight cooking pot that is often used by campers and hikers.
