Tony Chachere's More Spice Creole Seasoning - 14 oz Review:

I think this is GREAT. For my Red Beans and Rice recipe, I required a "less salty" yet "full bodied" creole seasoning. This is ideal. On a whim, I substituted some for the salt and pepper in my scrambled eggs, and it was delicious. To a basic dish of microwaved peas and carrots, I added a half teaspoon. Extraordinary! One of my go-to seasoning tricks for everything from meatloaf to eggs has evolved into this. Never again will I be without it.

Walker & Sons Slap Ya Mama Cajun Seasoning, 16 Ounce Review:

We have used it on corn, in burgers, and in many other dishes. It tastes very nice when combined with creamed corn, onions, and peppers. Also delicious on almost any variety of potato. If you don't like salt, don't buy it since you'll attempt to put it on everything because it's fairly salty. You may also try patting down some bacon with it and some brown sugar before baking it at 350 for around 25 minutes.

SLAP YA MAMA All Natural Cajun Seasoning from Louisiana, Spice Variety Pack, 8 Ounce Cans, 1 Original Cajun and 1 Hot Cajun Blend Review:

I've now tried every Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning (including the "WHO DAT?" variety, which is really the "Original" in a New Orleans Saints packaging). They are all genuine and special. The "hot" is simply a hotter version of the original, and both the original and the hot are exactly what they claim to be. The taste and ingredient list are fairly similar, but the "hot" version contains a lot more cayenne. I use the original's flavor on a variety of foods since it is vibrant and rich without being overpowering. Last night, I gave my bruschetta a little more sparkle by sprinkling a little of salt on top of it.You should definitely try the White Pepper version as well, if not first. It is the most distinctive and is not a part of this package. It's my favorite overall, and compared to the food my aunt CiCi gives me when I visit her in New Iberia, I think it's the most authentic (which is cajun country, but not "Swamp People" ;)Due to their versatility, I frequently use all three of these ingredients when I cook (with "hot" being the least flexible unless you're making hot-spicy cuisine). The universe of foods, including steak, poultry, fish, hot dogs, burgers, mac

Tony Chacheres Creole Style Butter Marinade 17oz Review:

For more than 25 years, frying turkeys has been a family tradition. I've tried grilling, frying, smoking, and roasting. The clear winner is frying. And you must use THIS injection! It makes the flesh incredibly juicy, and I just use it on the drumsticks and breast. in leftovers too. Follow all directions precisely since frying a turkey can be hazardous if you're not careful. Make sure the bird is totally defrosted, dry, then move it into and out of the hot oil SLOWLY. I must spend a minute or more lowering the bird into the oil. It's still the best method for cooking a turkey despite the small risk.

Zatarains Pre-Seasoned Crab and Shrimp Boil 72 Ounce (Pack of 2) Review:

Therefore, this is really great. I like to use it in addition to the pouches containing the crab boil and a cap full of Zatarains concentrated crab boil. I believe that this trio is the ideal pairing for any project using bulk seafood. I've used the concentrated Zatarains liquid in mashed potatoes and will now combine it with this spice to really bring out a lovely taste. This particular size will serve you well for a long time or be ideal for a sizable event.

Tony Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning, 8 Ounce Shakers Review:

At our house, supper simply wouldn't be complete without Tony Chachere's Original seasoning. It was introduced to my husband many years ago while we were in New Orleans visiting family. A short time after we first met, more than 18 years ago, he told me his cooking trick. Never do we let ourselves go without it. In our suitcase, we keep a tiny container.Unless you're in a strange mood, ice cream is probably not the best item to season with Tony Chachere's. We particularly enjoy it in soup. I'm known to mix it with popcorn.Having said that, a little bit of this flavorful seasoning goes a long way. The low sodium option can be preferred if you are watching your sodium intake.

McCormick Perfect Pinch Cajun Seasoning, 18 oz Review:

I had seen some reviews claiming that the McCormick Cajun shaker didn't have the same Cajun flavor as store-bought shakers. I bought this item and a cheap store brand to compare. Those evaluations are accurate! The shop bottle is more of a powder with more heat, which is the main difference. Since it's not just raw cayenne pepper like store brand, this bottle contains more of what I use as a seasoning. On Amazon, McCormick also offers a Bayou shaker. I took one of those to evaluate. As delicious as this large shaker of Perfect Pinch is The Bayou. When I make deep-fried fish and fresh fries for my wife, I either use one or the other because she doesn't like heat. Combine the Perfect Pinch or Bayou with the fish or shrimp batter. Sprinkle after frying fries. Grab 1 of each because it tastes great and is reasonably priced for large bottles. Simply add a little bit of straight cayenne pepper to modify spice to taste if you prefer greater heat, similar to the store brand straight Cajun. I like my spice a little bit hotter, so I add cayenne when serving.

Tony Chachere's No Salt Seasoning Blend, 5 Ounce Shaker Review:

I've discovered that having a basic spice collection makes it much quicker and more effective for me to prepare everyday dishes. My culinary routine is satisfied by Tony Chachere's no-salt Seasoning Blend because it complements nearly every dish. The flavour is excellent and goes well with the majority of my dishes. It's always on my spice rack.

Tony Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning, 17 Ounce Review:

Great seasoning, this. I mostly use it for chicken, but I've also made cajun spaghetti with it. You just need a little of this seasoning because it is rather robust and goes a long way. You'll be set for a while because this can is so big as well!It has lasted me since I got it a few months ago when I moved to LA because I couldn't locate it at Target. Now that I'm running low, I'll definitely be placing another purchase soon!

Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning 32oz Review:

I don't consume any "spice" at all. Anything spicier than meat loaf and mashed potatoes makes me perspire. However, after visiting New Orleans and eating food that was hot but not harmful, I yearned for something to bring back and apply in my poor attempts at cooking. I was introduced to Tony Chachere's Creole spice by a friend, and I now use it on nearly everything. The strange thing is that it acquires varied qualities when applied to various foods. You also don't need to use much. Less is very definitely more in this situation.
