The photos I've attached are from about a week after I planted them, and I purchased these around a month ago.I was aware that I would receive 10 cuttings, but I don't believe I fully appreciated how many and how large the cuttings would be. They were going to be much smaller than I anticipated. However, they were gorgeous and really healthy.I searched my home for jars to store them all in. They were planted by me a month ago. I didn't believe I did a very good job because I didn't actually "plant" them; I just sort of positioned them. As it moves a little when I move the one in the fourth picture, it doesn't appear to have rooted yet, but the other of them are doing wonderfully.Only a month later, a few of them had sprouted new stalks that are around 2 inches tall! Only a few of the leaves on those cuttings died; the rest are flourishing and expanding. I have a good feeling that this is normal and to be anticipated.To make sure I had everything I needed for them to grow, I used terrarium kits. (See under)These are succulents, therefore I keep them in clear jars. I couldn't be happier with my purchase! I reviewed sellers for a few days, and Plants for Pets had the top feedback (for good reason). My shipment arrived on schedule, and each of my succulents was still in its original pot. The plants were securely fastened in the plastic container that the pots sat in thanks to excellent glue adhesion. The extra succulent, which came nearly big enough to cover two others, the care instructions, and the $5 off coupon all made me happy. In the unlikely event that one of your succulents is seriously damaged, Plants for Pets is wonderful enough to provide an extra plant. A variety of succulents were given to me, some of which I had never seen in nearby shops. With the exception of a few broken leaves on the additional succulent, all of the succulents seemed to be in good health (shown in picture). However, I was thrilled with the leaves because I can now grow more gorgeous succulents with their help. Keep in mind that some of the leaves that appeared to be dead in the box image had previously fallen off and were sufficiently wilted to appear to have fallen from other plants prior to shipping.

Quick Tip: Make sure your cuttings are purchased and mailed from The Succulent Cult rather than ordering them from other merchants. I purchased 20 cuttings from Etemproof US while they were out of stock, but they were tiny, sick, dead, had bent stems, had loose leaves all over, and had a lot of duplicates, mostly looking like grass. They were also shipped in a tiny 4x4 box with only paper protecting them, which did not help at all. I've purchased both potted plants and cuttings of succulents from The Succulent Cult. They are lovely, new, and carefully packaged. I've had more success with potted plants as a result of cutting errors. I have some advice for novices like me so you don't make the same errors I did and kill three of my cuttings. I've read a lot and watched a lot of videos about caring for and propagating succulents, yet many things are never mentioned:#1 It is advisable to get more cuttings or, even better, succulents in pots with roots already established if you are new to succulents and feel the need to reproduce to increase your plants.#2 Since it is done from the bottom and if the stem has not calloused by the time you water the plant, it will start to rot a few days after watering unless you wait until your succulents are big and healthy enough to start plucking its leaves for multiplication.#3 Save the decorative gravel, sand, pebbles, and landscaping materials for after your plant has grown bigger and healthier. Being unable to see the dirt beneath the landscape made it difficult for me to determine when my succulents needed water.#4 If your cutting lacks a stem, simply place it on top of the dirt and gently press down. Don't remove leaves in order to create a stem, as this will cause your plant to decay after watering because the wounds have not yet calloused up.#5 Be cautious when removing withering leaves from the bottom of the plant because they won't calorise for a few days and will rot as soon as they are watered. Let the leaves fall naturally.If I recall anything else or learn anything new, I will update this post immediately so that other new parents like me can successfully raise their infants without endangering them.

I couldn't be happier with the 40 of these I purchased as party favors for a bridal shower I hosted. It is clear that the succulents were carefully chosen and packaged. There were none that were damaged during transport, and every plant appeared to be in good health and looked attractive (first picture is one of the boxes upon arrival and removal of packing paper strips). In order to have a week to make sure they were healthy and ready for the shower guests, I bought these ten days before my event. I maintained them in the supplied plastic pots, adding a little more succulent soil to a few of them, and fashioned the pot coverings you see in the picture from Kraft paper.Although I was hesitant to purchase these items online due to my concerns, I did so because of the excellent price and positive customer ratings.PS: I discovered the corgi pot on Amazon as well.

After ordering during Seattle's winter season, I was pretty concerned that the plant would wither, especially after reading some of the comments. That it came without a hitch is such a relief. I wasn't prepared for it to be taller and bigger. There are a few dead leaves here and there, but I don't mind. The box packing is nice. If I had to pick something, it would be to increase the pot's size dimensions, such as its diameter and height. I am satisfied with the price and quality overall. I'll repurchase in the summer.

These were beautifully packaged, swiftly delivered, and came in a nice variety (2 of each sort of succulent). To prevent the plants from moving around while in shipment, they are packed closely together with some cardboard filler within the box. They handled shipment better than I could have anticipated, with the exception of having to dust a little dirt off (especially since they were shipped in winter).I initially bought 20 succulents (18/20 lived over the first week), and I was so pleased with them that I bought another batch of 20 (20/20 survived), and a friend of mine helped me transform some of them into pots. About 20 succulents were used in the two groupings in the picture.The succulents I was hoping to buy locally cost between $2.50 and $3.00 each. The cost of them is VERY reasonable. My adorable little plants are doing great and are very simple to look after. They essentially thrive off of it! (I'm only sort of joking. Once every two weeks, I lightly water them, and they are established. I wholeheartedly endorse these succulents. I adore both this vendor and my air plants!I read the directions and did what I was told: properly soak, dry, and offer ample light and air. The first batch I received quickly took on a sickly hue, were brown at the tips, and seemed pretty sickly, so I called The Air Plant Shop, who gave out fresh replacements right away! Some of the pictures, which I took using a magnifying phone app, clearly depict the trichomes on the Tillandsia ionantha. explains the benefits of avoiding excessive handling.A schedule for feeding and watering that takes into account the winter dormancy period should be established. When my 2-day priority delivery arrived, it appeared as though someone had sat on it (USPS ftw). My plants were largely unharmed, with the exception of a few minor breakages. Despite one of them appearing to be severely crushed, they all appeared to be alive. Some people have scars and other flaws. Try one of the lots designed for wedding favors if you're looking for picture-perfect plants. More than half of them were perfect, I discovered. Although there were numerous plants in each pot to make up for it, I deducted one star since one of the plants was squashed and because it wasn't "as described." I received numerous plants with a purple tint, as you can see from my images, which I wasn't anticipating but was happy to see. It was also a pleasant surprise that I ended up with 6-7 succulents in the rosette shape. There is a wonderful range in color, texture, and shape among all of my plants, and they are all unique. I highly suggest it because it was a lot of fun to start my collection and try to identify them all.
