Best Cable Sleeves in 2020

Alex Tech 25ft – 1/2 inch Split Wire Loom Tubing Wire Conduit – Black Review:

What I most concern about ordering split wire loom tubing are 1) if the material is good. 2) if the wire loom tubing is thick enough. 3) if the thickness is uniform. 4) if the split tubing can be perfectly closed automatically. The quality of this split loom tubing fully meets my requirement. It greatly organizes and protects my wires and the wiring installation looks very professional. Excellent.

American Terminal Wire Loom Black 100' Feet 3/8" Split Tubing Hose Cover Auto Home Marine Review:

I used this to protect computer, phone, charger, and lamp cables from kittens that love to chew cables. They still chew the tubing but do no damage. I bought 1/4", 3/8', and 1/2" for various size cables. I should have bought the tool that opens up the split and guides the cable into the loom to make the job easier and quicker.

Alex Tech 10ft - 1/2 inch Cord Protector Wire Loom Tubing Cable Sleeve Split Sleeving for USB Charger Cable Power Cord Audio Video Cable – Protect Cat from Chewing Cords - Black Review:

So I have one of those cats who chew on electrical cords. I can't begin to tell you how many cords she has chewed through--alarm clocks, lamps, and all of the charging cords for our phones. I was pretty sure I'd find her fried one day (much like Aunt Bethany's cat did in the National Lampoon's Christmas vacation movie). I tried the sprays made for chewing and those seemed to make her chew more. I bought braided charging cables for our phones. But I was hoping for ANY kind of help to get her to stop chewing and then I came across these sleeves.

These sleeves are easy to install and can usually wrap around more than one cord at a time, which is helpful for the tv equipment (cable box and dvd player). Just open the sleeve and slide the cords inside. So far, knock on wood, my cat hasn't chewed any cords since I encased everything in these sleeves! Be sure to have scissors available for install, since you can cut these to any length you want. I've purchased this same item twice, to outfit all of the exposed cords I could find!

UPDATE May 2019: I have bought these sleeves twice now and have them on all of my lamps, the tv, and any other exposed cords you can think of. So far, so good! They are working to protect my cords and protect this crazy cat.

Cable Management Sleeve, JOTO Cord Management System for TV / Computer / Home Entertainment, 19 - 20 inch Flexible Cable Sleeve Wrap Cover Organizer, 4 Piece - Black Review:

The PRO's:
- The product looks nice, black is obviously a good color to make them, not question about that.
- The product feels nice, you would think it would attract hair if you have pets but I have cats and dogs in and out of my room and so far they look very nice and have little to no hair attached to them, a big plus to me.
- It comes with 4 sleeves (depending on the variant you purchase) which is an adequate amount, I don't see myself needing any more than that honestly. As of now I have 2 of the sleeves running up my desk for my computer peripherals (mouse, keyboard, HDMI, DVI, audio cables, etc.) and the other 2 sleeves are covering the cables that run to my sub-woofer (that being the cables for the 2 desktop units that run to it as well as power cable)
- Potentially protects the cables from heat somewhat. Now I’m not sure if there's any science behind this, it simply gives me peace of mind that all the cables I believe are protected in this sleeve as all my cables run near the radiator
- High quality zipper, I have yanked and pulled these so hard to stretch around my cables I swear I thought that the cables would burst right out of the zipper but it holds up surprisingly well.

That's about it for the pro's, I mean it's a cable sleeve, what more is there to say
The CON'S:
- The sleeves in my opinion are a bit small, I wish they were bigger to accommodate for all my cables. They could either offer it as a separate option or just implement it throughout the product line. Either way, zipping these up is ridiculously hard. All I'm going to say is there's not much wiggle room, they really don't stretch as much as you would think.
- Unlike a lot of cable management sleeves out there you cannot branch off any of the cables unless you did something like cut a hole in them but I don't believe JOTO would want you doing that and if they have a warranty that would most likely void it. Not a problem so much for me but if you're looking to do that, please find a different cable management sleeve as this will not cut it for you
- Miss aligned zippers, that's all that really needs to be said but I'll go on because it just annoys me. If you're looking to zip it all the way up, good luck, for all of my cable sleeves they don't line up properly. Doesn't really mess it up, doesn't even look that bad as it's just a cable sleeve but close up it just annoys me. Either the left or right side of the zipper will stick out a bit, and I've chosen to accept that.
- Wish they added more lengths, 40" is a bit too big for me, and 19" is a bit too small. Now I know they can't cater to my needs, they go with the majority and I guess that's what the majority has but a few more options would have been a welcome addition.
- Taking these off are a PAIN, honestly the most annoying part. I had to route a usb extender for my new usb hub and it took maybe a half an hour no lie at all to get it right. Once the cables are in there you will NOT get any leeway, the cables are in there for good (at least with my arrangement of a million cables in one sleeve) so you have to mess around with it until it's just right and then zip them both up hoping to god you have not messed anything up. In the end it looks very nice and neat, but what a pain to get it that way. It seems the zipper never wants to zip up, it's just a hair too high to be zipped up and you have to start all over again.

-----------------------------------

In the end it's a cable sleeve, nothing more, nothing less. However, it's not the perfect god given gift of a cable sleeve as some reviewers would have you believe. That's not to say it's not a good cable sleeve, it's a damn good one, and it looks professional. You could go and get those ones that look like a snake or whatever made of plastic and I'm sure they're better, but do you really want that thing hanging from your desk? However, I'm not here to try and trick you into buying this product, it's the one I bought because I was on a time constraint. If you're reading this, you're probably not as it's extremely long by now, longer than I wanted it to be. Please refer now to the pictures I have posted regarding this product, I'm sure they will help you out if you can see what they look like. Sorry I do not have any before pictures, and I'm not going to take apart my cables just to show them, it's hard enough to get them into the sleeve. I hope I've helped and if you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment and I'll try and get back to you to help you out.

Bestfy Cord Organizer System Cable Management Sleeve, 19.5 inch, Wire Cover with Zipper, Cable Wrap, Cord Sleeves for TV, Computer, Office, Home Entertainment, 4 Pack Review:

I was a little hesitant buying this due to a few reviewers stating that it fits only a few cables (especially if they are thicker like power or HDMI cables) but I desperately needed to organize my desk and decided to make the leap to pick this up. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. Currently I am using just one of these sleeves (although you can zip together multiple sleeves to fit more cables, if you need) and it is holding the following cables:

HDMI to Gaming Console (folded over once)
HDMI to Computer (folded over once)
Keyboard to computer (folded over twice)
External Hard Drive to Computer

The trick is to run all the cables through once, and then start the zipper. Once you have the zipper engaged, you can fold over the longer cables. My only slight concern is that the zipper does seem to be a little on the cheaper side, and I wonder how long it'll last since my cables are pushing against the sleeve a little, but it has held up well for over a week now with no signs of unzipping or other issues.

I don't dare shove more than what I have in there now, for fear of fraying the folded cables, but this definitely can hold a lot.

Kootek 118-Inch Cable Management Sleeves with Cable Ties, Neoprene Cable Organizer Cord Cover Wire Hider for TV Computer Office Theater (Black, Large) Review:

It took me a little while to find a cord cover that I thought would work and look the best. After about an hour looking online at different products, I settled on this one. It was cheap enough, so if I didn’t like it, I wouldn’t feel horrible for throwing it away.
It arrived rolled up in an enclosed in a plastic bag. The material is like a neoprene. Something like a wetsuit. There’s a faint smell when your upclose working on it.
The cord cover was extremely easy to work with. I started out using a regular metal tape measure, but then switched to a cloth tape measure. The cloth is easier to use when measuring for curving. For the 3 areas that I needed to cover, it took me about 10 minutes total. That was measuring, cutting the cover using regular scissors (extremely easy to cut) and wrapping and velcro together.
I attached a few pictures. Before and after.
The areas I used it on was the cords coming down from the flat screen hanging up above the fireplace.
The cords running down the side of the fireplace to the ground running underneath a shelf.
Cords running down from my fish tank that sits up on a shelf, down to the plug below and off to the side.

100ft - 1/2 inch PET Expandable Braided Sleeving – Black – Alex Tech braided cable sleeve Review:

This really worked for me. Probably not what the manufacturers intented it to be used for but.... My mother uses an oxygen concentrator with a 50 foot hose. We have 5 cats who LOVE to chew on the hose. We used to go through 1 or 2 hoses a week, which gets expensive at $8.00 a hose. (She won't let me re-home the cats!). I have tried numerous products to cover the hose but nothing seemed to fit or stay or keep the little buggers from chewing them. I had a time trying to figure out how to run the hose through the sleeve but got it. The cats have tried and tried but their little sharp dagger teeth can't cut through it!! I'm thrilled. It's sturdy, cuts easily with sharp scissors.
