There are many types of cables on the market and it can be hard to know which one is the best for your needs. Braided cables are becoming increasingly popular because they offer a number of benefits over traditional cables. One of the main benefits of braided cables is that they are much more durable than other types of cables. This means that they are less likely to become damaged and will last longer. Braided cables are also less likely to tangle, which can be a major annoyance. Another benefit of braided cables is that they offer better protection against electromagnetic interference. This can be important
Most people believe that braided cables last longer than standard cables because they are more durable and less likely to get tangled. Braided cables are also more expensive, so you may be tempted to buy them to save money in the long run. However, there is no evidence to support the claim that braided cables last longer than standard cables. In fact, braided cables may actually be more likely to fray over time and become unusable. If you want to buy braided cables, do so because you think they look nicer or because you want the extra protection they offer, but don
Most earth cables don't need to be sleeved unless they're going to be exposed to the elements. If you're running the cable through a conduit or other type of enclosure, you can skip the sleeving.
Sleeved cables are cables that have a protective sleeve around them. The sleeve is usually made of a material that is resistant to heat, abrasion, and chemicals. The sleeve can also provide a measure of electrical insulation. Sleeved cables are used in a variety of applications, including computer networking, automotive wiring, and audio/visual equipment.

I used this to keep cable-chewing cats away from my computer, phone, charger, and lamp. They continue to chew the tube but cause no harm. I purchased 1/4", 3/8', and 1/2" for different cable sizes. To make the task simpler and faster, I should have purchased the tool that opens the split and directs the cable into the loom.

I own a cat that likes to gnaw on electrical cables. She has chewed through so many cords, including those from lights, alarm clocks, and our phones' charging cords, that I am at a loss for words. I was fairly certain that one day I'd discover her fried, much like Aunt Bethany's cat in the National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation film. I gave the chewing sprays a try, and they seemed to encourage her to chew more. For our phones, I purchased braided charging cables. But when I first discovered these sleeves, I was still looking for ANY kind of assistance to convince her to quit chewing. These sleeves are convenient for the TV equipment because they are simple to install and can typically wrap around multiple cords at once (cable box and dvd player). Simply insert the cables inside the sleeve after opening it. Knock on wood, since I put everything in these sleeves, my cat hasn't nibbled on any cords. Since you may cut these to any length you choose, make sure to have scissors on hand. I bought this item twice so I could cover every exposed cord I could locate!REVISED MAY 2019: I have these sleeves on all of my lamps, the television, and any other exposed wires you can think of, and I've now purchased them twice. All is well thus far! They are working to keep both this crazy cat and my cables safe.

The PROs: - The product looks beautiful, and there is no doubt that black is a fantastic color to use when manufacturing them.- The product feels lovely. You'd assume that if you have pets, it would attract hair, but I have cats and dogs that come in and out of my room, and so far they look great with little to no hair attached to them, which is a huge bonus in my book.- It comes with 4 sleeves, which, depending on the model you choose, is a sufficient number. Honestly, I don't think I'll need any more. As of right now, I have 2 of the sleeves running up my desk for my computer's peripherals (such as the mouse, keyboard, HDMI, DVI, audio cables, etc.), and the other 2 sleeves are covering the cables that run to my sub-woofer (which includes the cables for the 2 desktop units that run to it as well as the power cable). This could potentially protect the cables from heat. I'm not sure whether there is any science behind this, but the fact that all of my wires are located close to the radiator gives me some peace of mind that they are all protected.- High quality zipper; I swear I thought the wires would explode out of the zipper when I yanked and strained them so hard to stretch around my cables. However, it holds up remarkably well. The pros pretty much end there—a it's cable sleeve, what else is there to say?The negatives- The sleeves, in my opinion, could use some enlargement to accommodate all of my cords. They could either add it to the product line as a whole or as a distinct option. In either case, zipping these up is absurdly difficult. All I'll say is that there isn't much room for movement and they don't truly extend as much as you might expect.- Unlike many other cable management sleeves, JOTO's do not allow you to branch off any of the wires without doing anything like cutting a hole in them. If JOTO had a guarantee, doing so would certainly void it. I don't think JOTO would want you to do that. Not a big deal for me, but if you want to do that, please seek for a new cable management sleeve because this one won't work for you.- All that really needs to be said is that misaligned zippers are annoying, but I'll say more. Good luck trying to zip it all the way up; all of my cable sleeves won't line up correctly. Since it's just a cable sleeve, it doesn't really mess it up and doesn't even appear that bad, but up close, it irritates me. I've decided to accept that the zipper will protrude somewhat from either the left or right side.- 40" is a little too long for me, and 19" is a little too short. I wish they had offered additional lengths. I now see that they are unable to meet my wants; instead, they follow the majority, which I suppose is what the majority prefers, but a few more options would have been appreciated. The most annoying aspect is actually taking these off, which is a PAIN. I had to route a USB extension for my new USB hub, and getting it right took no more than a half-hour. You must fiddle with it until it's exactly right, then zip them both up praying to god you haven't messed up anything because once the wires are in there you will NOT get any leeway; they are in there for good (at least with my arrangement of a million cables in one sleeve). Although it was a hassle to get there, the final product is really nice and tidy. The zipper always seems to be just a little bit too high to zip up, forcing you to start again from scratch.—————————————————-It is ultimately just a cable sleeve, nothing more or less. However, contrary to what some reviewers would have you believe, a cable sleeve is not a flawless gift from God. That is not to suggest that it is a poor cable sleeve; on the contrary, it is a damn nice one and it looks polished. Do you really want that item hanging from your desk? You could go get those ones made of plastic that resemble snakes or other things; I'm sure they're nicer. Although I did purchase this item due to a time crunch, I'm not here to try to deceive you into doing so. It's likely that you're not reading this because it's now very long and longer than I had intended. Please have a look at the images I've posted of this product; if you can visualize what they look like, I'm sure they will be helpful to you. It's my fault that I don't have any prior photographs, and I won't disassemble my wires simply to show you; it's difficult enough getting them into the sleeve. I hope I've been of assistance, and if you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment; I'll do my best to respond and assist you.

I was a little hesitant to buy this because some reviews claimed that it only accommodates a small number of connections (especially if they are thicker like power or HDMI cables), but I had to arrange my desk urgently, so I made the purchase. I must say, I was happily surprised. Although you may zip together several sleeves to accomodate more wires if necessary, I am currently only utilizing one of these sleeves, which is holding the following cables:HDMI and video game console (folded over once)Computer through HDMI (folded over once)computer keyboard (folded over twice)Computer and external hard driveThe key is to start the zipper after running all the cables through the zipper once. The longer cables can be folded over once the zipper is closed. Since my wires are rubbing against the sleeve a little, my only little worry is that the zipper might be a little on the cheap side. However, it has held up nicely for more than a week now with no symptoms of unzipping or other difficulties. This can contain a lot, but I'm afraid to cram any more than what I already have in there for fear of fraying the folded cables.

Finding a cord cover that I believed would function and look well took some time for me. I decided on this item after spending approximately an hour browsing numerous things online. Because it was reasonably priced, I wouldn't feel bad about tossing it away if I didn't like it.It was delivered curled up in a plastic bag. The substance resembles neoprene. comparable to a wetsuit When you are working on it up close, there is a slight fragrance.Working with the cord cover was quite simple. I initially used a standard metal tape measure before switching to a fabric one. When taking measurements for curvature, the cloth is simpler to utilize. It took me around 10 minutes to cover the 3 locations that I needed to. That involved measuring, cutting the cover with normal scissors (which are incredibly simple to cut), wrapping it, and attaching it with velcro.I've included some images. Earlier and later. The cords from the flat screen hanging above the fireplace were the spots I used it on.The cords from the fireplace's side that lead to the ground are hidden beneath a shelf. My fish tank, which is raised on a shelf, has cords that extend down to the socket below and to the side.

For me, this worked incredibly well. Probably not the purpose for which the manufacturers intended it, but... With a 50-foot hose, my mother uses an oxygen concentrator. Five of our cats adore chewing on the hose. At $8 each hose, we used to go through 1 or 2 hoses a week, which is pricey. She won't let me find new homes for the kitties! I've tried a lot of different things to cover the hose, but nothing has worked well enough to deter the little varmints from biting them. I struggled for a while but eventually managed to get the hose through the sleeve. The cats have attempted numerous times, but it is inaccessible to their tiny, razor-sharp dagger teeth! I'm overjoyed. Strong and simple to cut with good scissors.
The first step is to determine the minimum inside diameter (ID) and maximum outside diameter (OD) of the sleeving. The ID must be large enough to clear the object being covered, and the OD must be small enough to allow the sleeving to be easily placed over the object. Once the ID and OD are determined, the length of the sleeving can be measured. To do this, simply wrap the tape measure around the object being covered and add the appropriate amount of length to allow for overlap.
When it comes to installing or removing braided sleeving, there are a few things you need to do in order to ensure a proper and tight fit. If the sleeving is too loose, it can easily come undone, while if it's too tight, it can damage the cable or wire inside. The first step is to determine the right size of the sleeving. Once you have the right size, you need to cut it to length. The next step is to open up the end of the sleeving. To do this, you can use a heat gun or lighter. Once
There are a few things to consider when deciding if braided or solid wire is better. One is the application or project you are working on. Another is the type of wire you are using. For example, if you are working on a project that requires a lot of movement, braided wire might be a better option because it is more flexible. On the other hand, if you are working on a project that requires a lot of strength, solid wire might be a better option because it is more durable. Ultimately, the decision of which type of wire to use
