Buyers Products L8815 Stainless Single Point T-Handle Latch with Mounting Holes Review:

Very content! Our Circle J horse trailer's broken Vector latch was replaced with this. To fit this one in, the opening just required a minor amount of filing. The pot metal cam on the Vector latch broke, and it wasn't really used much over time. Compared to the stock Vector latch, this T-stainless Handle's design appears to be much better. The steel T-Handle latch was roughly $60–$80 more expensive to replace than the Vector! Fantastic savings! The mechanics also seem to be much stronger. I've attached images of the vintage Vector and the installation of the replacement latch.

Cabinet Door Latch/ 4 Pack RV Drawer Latches 8 lbs Pull Force Cabinet Latch, Holder for Home/RV Cabinet Doors with Mounting Screws - Perfect for RV, Trailer, Motor Home, Camper, OEM Replacement Review:

Any time the RV is turned, a damaged drawer latch causes the drawer to fly open. Additionally, it typically occurs while you are traveling and have no control over it. So, while tying the mischievous drawer shut, I go 2000 kilometers to my house, purchase this replacement, and get it quickly. Oh no, of course these wouldn't match the OEM latches that Coachmen uses exactly. Since the parts are slightly varied in size and none of the mounting holes line up, measure and drill. It requires some dexterity to vertically and horizontally align the hook part with the opening on the spring catch part. To find the edge of the opening, I marked the cabinet frame with some masking tape and a pencil, after which I attached the hook component. Time will tell whether these are actually more durable than the originals. good work excellent, robust latching reasonable value Be bold and acquire some.

Igloo Hybrid Stainless and Plastic Latch (3.38 L x 0.57 W x 0.57 D Inches) - Black/Silver Review:

Before purchasing this replacement latch, I performed some research, so I thought I'd share what I learned with you. This latch should fit your 50-165 gallon cooler if you purchased your Igloo within the last few years because they are designed to be universal. I'm not sure if this will work for you, though, if you have a 20-year-old Igloo whose latch eventually failed, as they altered the latch design at some point (see historical story at bottom, if interested).I purchased a Maxcold 60-quart wheeled cooler two months ago, and after three weekends of very no use (my cooler still had the promotional sticker on it! *shakes finger at Igloo*), the plastic lock broke off. Although the cooler technically remains protected by the manufacturer's 1-year warranty, I wasn't sure if the lock was an included component. Additionally, I didn't want to run the chance of standing in line at Target's customer support desk only to be informed that it wasn't covered or that the shipping back to Igloo would cost money. Since I wanted to improve the latch in the first place, my time is worth more than the replacement latch's approximate $10 price.Details taken from the Igloo website are as follows:Standard white plastic latch ($6.99 SKU 24013), similar to the one that came with the cooler originallyHybrid stainless steel and plastic latch, $8.99, SKU 24029$10.99 for an SS latch; SKU 20018SKU 24043, SS latch with orange accents, is $10.99.Lockable latch (secures the central post with TWO screws): $12.99 SKU 20087Important Installation Note: After installation, the screw heads on the original plastic latch are visible. The screw holes and plastic lock are also visible in the web images of the Hybrid SS, which gives the false impression that the screw heads will also be visible after installation. The two latch cover screw heads are HIDDEN UNDER the latch when the latch is properly placed. The latch will be too lengthy to close the cooler if you install it the same way the plastic one was placed, with the screw heads showing (as I initially did). Please check out the photo I gave with this review to see what I'm trying to express. I think this is why you see so many reviews from people who "received the wrong size latch" or "had to drill new holes to install."Overall, it appears to be a reliable replacement latch for my Igloo, and installation just takes a few minutes; but, because there are no clear instructions, the installation process is complicated, and I deducted one star from my rating. Please help me out by clicking the "Helpful" button below if you found this review and accompanying image to be informative. Thanks!History lesson for the persistent, curious, or bored: Igloo switched to stainless steel (SS) latches a few years ago. Sadly, they had a poor or faulty design, and as a result, they were sued after one of the latches cut someone's calf. They were forced to issue a recall and switched back to plastic latches. Although these plastic ones no longer rip people in half, they are nonetheless pricy and weak (which is probably how you ended up here, shopping for a replacement latch).

Iron Valley - 4.5'' Cabin Hook - Cast Iron Review:

runs smoothly. quite powerful. Probably intended for a sturdy exterior gate. This is what we placed across our french doors to prevent the toddlers from running away. The 4" length is ideal since it places the mounts back from the door's edge far enough to prevent splitting wood or other placement-related problems. In an emergency, those squeezy doorknob covers might be deadly, but this latch is quite simple to use. However, with merely weight and no unwanted resistance, this latch can be easily flicked off. Because of our planet's current gravitational field, it is hefty enough that it won't vibrate out of its sleeve. The two doors are very securely fastened together by this latch. Not only does it keep young children inside, but it also adds a very thin layer of security (I say very thin because french doors, especially ones with a lot of glass, are not exactly ideal for security in the first place), looks good, and functions well.

Prime-Line U 9476 Maximum Security Latch Strike, 1-1/4 in. x 7-7/8 in., Steel, Chrome Plated Review:

A bedroom door and a closet door in my home were no longer properly latching. To try and shift the striker plate by a hair entailed drilling two more holes that would only be a hair different from the current holes because the striker plate was slightly off...just barely. Any attempt would have merely served to enlarge the already-existing holes. This product was a blessing for my basic inside doors because it was wider than necessary but longer than necessary. It was also branded for security. Since the plate had distinct holes, none of them would overlap the existing holes, and I could place it so that the door knob would actually engage. The issue was fixed! Why don't manufacturers produce striker plates with slide-adjustable screw holes?

Child Safety Strap Locks (8 Pack) for Fridge, Cabinets, Drawers, Dishwasher, Toilet, 3M Adhesive No Drilling - Jool Baby Review:

Why would having numerous baby locks on the exterior of doors and furniture be attractive? These are excellent as they are, but once you have one, forget about attempting to transfer it. Though it was human mistake, I foolishly put one on in the incorrect location of a cabinet and still managed to access the drawer. Anyway, even with the very "easy to remove" video LOL with dental floss, I couldn't pull the thing off easily enough that I almost severed my fingers. After that, I spent 20 minutes attempting to remove the 3M residue from my dining room buffet server's white cabinet while sitting there with GOO Gone. The locks eventually came off, but there is absolutely no way that you could do it quickly and easily like in that absurd video. When we no longer require these locks, you can know that I'll be using GooGone to scrub every cabinet and drawer. Good times! With the exception of the oven, where I accidently closed the door on the lock while using the oven to cook, all the other locations I placed the locks operate flawlessly. Therefore, when cooking, use caution when opening and closing your oven door. Also, watch out for the lock when closing the oven door to prevent it from swinging into the oven. This time, I'll get extra and take my time before installing the new lock on the oven.

Brass Valley - 4" Black Flip Latch - Solid Cast Brass Review:

If it weren't for the flimsy, slotted screws that come with the lock, I would have rated this product five stars. The latch is attractive and of high quality. It is heavy and has a somewhat rustic, hand-forged appearance. However, when I started attempting to put the screws into the pilot holes that I had previously bored in the wood I was working with, they were flimsy and bent. Additionally, the fact that they are slotted rather than Phillips makes handling them more difficult. In the end, I replaced the substandard screws that came with the lock with new ones that had a Phillips head, and I had no more issues. Just a heads-up so you can get ready.

Buyers Products 8000SSL Stainless Steel Mini Size Tear Drop Style Locking Latch Review:

less than 48 hours to arrive!Excellent results with my toolbox.Although I couldn't make out a label brand on my packaging, these functioned flawlessly. To install the new latch with fresh rivets, all that was needed to do was drill the old rivets.I didn't have to deal with any pushrods because my box has two lids and two locks. My new locks have the same key in both of them.I now actually have 4 keys because each came with 2 keys.I didn't even need to make any modifications to mine. Also looks fantastic! With the purchase, I am extremely pleased.
