These held up well and are really sturdy. I enjoy how I can simply fold the product over if it is smaller and it still works perfectly! Love the color and craftsmanship! A thin foil covering the glue is used to secure it, and it readily peels away to reveal the adhesive. IT WILL NOT UNSTICK WITHOUT VERY NASTY TEARS ONCE STUCK. When you're sealing your shipments, take your time. I am very confident in the security of this glue while in transit because of how strong it is.DESIGN: The bubbles are flush with the outside of the purple outer plastic, which feels thick to the touch. According to some enjoyable testing I did—since they are so cheap (I spent $9.99 for 100), why not?—they are in fact reliable and waterproof. I could not, under any circumstances, rip one with my hands. The bag then resisted my attempts to further rip it with scissors after I had first attempted to cut it with them. Second, I filled it with water and let it settle; no water leaked. Third, I placed a weight inside a different bag before submerging it in water, but no water entered. If I want to make anything completely waterproof before mailing it, I just wrap the seal with plastic sealing tape one more time because the only way water could enter is if it wiggled through the seal. Lastly, writing Picture: The early results are shown on the left. What was left after two minutes of waiting and smudging with a dry paper towel is seen on the right. The Flair pen didn't work at all (just made little dots), and it vanished when smudged. Sharpie worked, but when it was touched, it virtually vanished. The ballpoint (Uniball) pen was functional and did not smear. My Avery labels, however, were quite simple to remove off the bags. I usually use plastic sealing tape over my addressing for that purpose because I never write addresses directly on any packaging or on a label without a moisture barrier because it's so easy to smudge if the box gets wet. As long as no corner protruded, plastic sealing tape was entirely adhered to the bags and was impossible to tear off. I'm therefore ecstatic about the "bulletproof" nature of these bags. I especially value how tiny they are and how little drawer space they occupy.
