Yes, a polishing wheel can remove deep scratches. The process is simple: first, attach the polishing wheel to your drill. Next, apply some polishing compound to the wheel. Finally, hold the wheel against the scratch and move it in a circular motion.
Buffing can damage car paint if the person doing it is not careful. If the buffer is set too high, it can remove paint. If it is not set high enough, it can cause swirl marks.
You can use a buffing wheel on a grinder, but it is not recommended. The buffing wheel can cause the grinder to overheat and damage the motor.
Most buffing wheels come with a guard, but you may need to purchase one separately if your wheel did not come with one. A buffing wheel guard is important for safety as it protects your hands and fingers from the wheel. It is also important for protecting the wheel from becoming damaged or ruined.

Works As stated, it could be made more durable, but for the price, you can get three times as much as dremel-branded equipment and it will last at least as long and allow you to "refresh" your bit. And in my perspective, that makes it possible to sand with higher quality because it gives you time to stop and evaluate your work. Some people might not agree, but I would rather be somewhat corrected if I was doing something incorrectly than to stand or polish for an extended period of time without catching my error. Additionally, if used properly, it lasts equally as long as a branded type; but, if used incorrectly against the edges, it only lasts for half as long. Experience is crucial, and these enable you to obtain it with feedback from the bit wearing out more quickly than usual while spending less money. Keep in mind that even branded Dremels will wear out 2 times more quickly if they are used improperly.

Excellent product; I use them to polish jewelry. They have performed admirably. I got these because they were eligible for Prime because I needed them very quickly. They wear out with use, but not any slower than the previous set I purchased from Dremel. I prefer them since the heads are cemented to the post rather than screwed on replaceable heads, so when they wear out, I just throw the whole thing out.

These are what I bought to use for cleaning an ancient metal lathe. Even a little brush has a hard time fitting into certain really narrow areas. These little wheels, which are really more like "puffs," can fit into some pretty small crevices, and when coupled with my Dremel's flex shaft, have already saved me a ton of time and aggravation. So far, I've just used the 80 and 120 grit wheels, and they're excellent. I have no doubt that the 180 and 240 grit wheels will perform equally well for finer work because they appear to be built in the same manner as the heavier grits. I'd unquestionably purchase these again!

I bought these wheels to polish jewelry-grade metals. I generally use smaller wheels, but for larger sculptures I wanted bigger wheels. The wheels' size and level of construction both impress me greatly. To achieve a decent shine, you can push the metal against them because they are robust enough. I'll repurchase these and switch out my smaller wheels for this particular brand.Shipping went as planned.

Most of the time, these polishers remove material exactly as you would like. The grits didn't seem to differ as much as I had anticipated, and they didn't seem to last as long as I had anticipated they should, but it could just be a mistake on my part and not the polishers'.

With the exception of the fact that I cannot utilize them for what I intended, I cannot be very critical of these. I restore antique furniture, and I have several with intricate carvings. After removing the old shellac, I had intended to use these to help sand out the details. Unfortunately, they are considerably too abrasive and quickly begin to cut away at the wood. But I'm sure I can use them for something else, and they'll be just great. Simply do not intend to use them for timber. One thing to note is that the package does not specify what type of grit each color represents. I had to look up the product description online again. The inclusion of even a short scrap of paper outlining the grits would be beneficial. Additionally, for safety reasons, little fragments do fly off. Defend yourself. Use a speed that is not excessive.

These are helpful for cleaning just about anything that will withstand abrasion when used (gently) as a sandpaper substitute in small spots when repairing teak on my boat or polishing rust stains off stainless steel. To avoid damaging gel coat and eating through delicate textiles, use only a light brush with the spinning wheel. Sanding wheels made by Dremel are far too harsh. For anything softer than stainless steel, I would use these as sanding wheels rather than "buffing" wheels. These degrade QUICKLY, but once they're gone, I'll be getting more.

Works as I anticipated it would. It was a little more abrasive than I had anticipated, but with some break-in, it worked perfectly.
Once you have buffed out a scratch, it will not come back.
Buffing can damage the clear coat on your car. If you buff too hard or use the wrong type of buffer, you can create tiny scratches in the clear coat. These scratches will eventually lead to rust and other problems.
Buffing removes scratches by polishing the surface of the paint. It is important to note that buffing does not remove all scratches, but it can significantly reduce their appearance.
There are a few things to consider when choosing a buffing wheel for your project. The type of material you are working with, the type of finish you want, and the speed of the buffer are all important factors. If you are working with a soft material like wood, you will want to use a softer wheel. A harder wheel will be too aggressive and could damage the wood. For a harder material like metal, you will want to use a harder wheel. Softer wheels will not remove the finish as quickly. The type of finish you want will also affect the
There are a few things you can do to avoid swirls when buffing: 1. Use a clean, soft cloth - a lint-free microfiber towel is ideal. 2. Make sure your buffing pad is clean and free of debris. 3. Use a light touch - don't press too hard on the pad. 4. Buff in a circular motion. 5. Wipe away any excess polish or wax after buffing. following these tips should help you avoid swirls when buffing your car.
It costs approximately $8 to $10 to buff a wheel. The process takes about 15 to 20 minutes.
