KastKing Extremus Braided Fishing Line, Highly Abrasion Resistant 4-Strand Braided Lines, Thin Diameter, Zero Stretch, Zero Memory, Easy Casting, Great Knot Strength, Color Fast Review:

If you're shopping for braided line, stop here and get the largest spool you can find because I adore this line so much. I've been using this line for about 4 years, and in that time I've hooked just about everything you can find in the Pacific Northwest without ever experiencing any issues. Although I recently acquired a spool of the extremists braid, my go-to line is 65lb superhero braid, and I now have a new fave. Even if the line is slightly larger than others, it will still perform better than all others on the indicated. Nothing even comes close, despite the fact that I have Power Pro, Spider Wire, and Sufix. It is non-coated, but if you are using a bait caster or a level wind, it is a benefit. Nothing unfavorable can be said about it. Don't look back and buy everything you can.

KastKing Mega8 Braided Fishing Line, Advanced 8 Strand Braided Line - Rounder, Stronger, Softer, Smoother, More Sensitive, Casts Farther, Zero Stretch & Memory, Great Knot Strength, More Color Fast Review:

Compared this line directly to a top-tier name brand braid. 80 pounds against 80 pounds using the same rod combinations. Taking on the Paddlefish of North Dakota. The Mega8 line's color retention was excellent. By the end of day two, the other line had lost the majority of its dye.Castability was not too far off. Both lines were silent and seamless. Absolutely nothing negative to say about this category.KastKing has great success with its abrasion resistance. The KastKing line was able to free us 90% of the time when we got stuck in the river's many unpleasant snags, while the other line was frequently fraying and breaking off. With Mega8, knot strength was excellent.Overall, just a great line.I'll undoubtedly purchase more for the rest of my equipment.

Reaction Tackle High Performance Braided Fishing Line Review:

Chad,I'm a lifelong amateur fisherman who spends more than three days a week on the water. Moreover, as a purchaser of fishing-related equipment costing tens of thousands of dollars. I have to add that I can vouch for the excellence of your camouflage braid line.I've been using a 14-foot v-hull with a 10 pound green camouflage braid line. With your line, I've caught everything from 30" hybrid tiger muskies to 20-pound flatheads and everything in between. And it has endured longer than the items from any other "big name" companies. To test how much your line could withstand, I intentionally subjected it to choppy water, jagged rocks, and rough bottom. I've also repeatedly "tree'd" the line and pulled down a branch that was more than 1.5 inches thick. After that, tied up on the worn section and easily pulled in a 12.10 pound channel. In fact, I traveled for six hours with that configuration. Again, it held up well, with just slight surface wear impairing line strength and integrity.Using a medium, 7 foot carbon/graphite spinning setup with a 30/70 flex and the line on a 4000 size Penn Battle with a half ounce bank sinker, I also tested the line's casting capabilities. I could cast 10-15 yards past the other side of the estimated 40-yard-wide area of water without any hesitation or extra effort. The line offers a good mix between stiffness and pliability, allowing it to cast far thanks to its stiffness but excel at making short, incredibly accurate casts thanks to its pliability. Additionally, tying knots is immensely aided by these qualities. The water absorption test was the next one I had. I fished for six hours straight and found no discernible difference between your line and any of the rivals. The minimal amount of water absorption exhibited no detrimental consequences on any attributes.I'm currently in the testing's last stage, which will take several more weeks. This test will evaluate overall toughness. This line will be subjected to extreme changes in temperature and weather conditions, various fishing methods, aging knots, salt water resistance, and general abuse.I'm hoping to share a similar excellent outcome when I report back.To evaluate the effectiveness of the camo color scheme, I also snorkeled in clear, brown, green, and pretty much every other shade of water possible aside from blue water. In colored water, the green camo line performs particularly well if there is flora around. If there is flora present, the camouflage is still effective in clear water.I sincerely hope that my findings have given you more knowledge about how your line actually performs in real-world fishing situations.

HERCULES Cost-Effective Super Cast 8 Strands Braided Fishing Line 10LB to 300LB Test for Salt-Water,109/328/547/1094 Yards(100M/300M/500M/1000M),Diam.#0.12MM-1.2MM,Hi-Grade Performance,Variety Colors Review:

Instead of fishing, I purchased this for camping. I like bushcraft and tarp-style camping. The adaptability of this material is incredible; it can hold anything from my bear bag to a tight ridgeline. In addition to withstanding significant abrasion, the knot retention is actually a touch too good. If you plan to purchase this for whatever reason, my one piece of advice is to have quality shears on hand to cut it with.

KastKing Superpower Braided Fishing Line - Abrasion Resistant Braided Lines – Incredible Superline – Zero Stretch – Smaller Diameter – A Must-Have! Review:

amazing content right here.I decided to give it a go and test it out because I was seeking for a less expensive option to PowerPro or Sufix. Here are some pros I discovered:1- Price2. Strength; measured at 100 yards in increments of 3,5,10, and 15 feet (3 times each length), average breaking strength was 16.6 pounds. Would be higher, however a few of the shorter length testing failed at the knot at less than 10 pounds (likely my error). The highest casting was 17.25lb 3 and was VERY smooth. The line never stiffened even after multiple saltwater applications (without rinsing the reel or line) and casts just as well as PowerPro Super 8 Slick.4- Extremely strong durability. Got tangled up in oyster-covered rocks, the 30lb mono leader snapped, and the torn braid looked similar to what PowerPro would after being used for a long. When I took it out to test it, it broke at 12.75 lbs. Considering how knotted it was, really decent.Cons: 1- I'm not sure what the black, invisible-gray substance on the line is. Not really a disadvantage, but it is inconvenient when you are attempting to spool a reel and maintain tension on the line and then you look at your fingers or hands and see that they are covered with black. It appears to have rinsed off thus far.2- The line turns more of a bright blue tone after the black substance rinses out. Actually more of an observation than a scam.I was pleasantly delighted overall and won't ever use another brand. A good product at half the cost? That's for me, yes.Edit: Since writing my review, I've bought the 50ld and 10lb; excellent stuff. It endures as it should.

KastKing KastPro Braided Fishing Line - Spectra Super Line - Made in The USA - Zero Stretch Braid - Thin Diameter - On Biodegradable BioSpool! - Aggressive Weave - Incredible Abrasion Resistance! Review:

In order to spool onto my KastKing Spartacus, I purchased 20# of brown Fortis. It was thought that brown would closely resemble local water hues. It did! better than I anticipated! I know that predatory fish have tunnel vision while reacting to a meal or threat since I have spent HUNDREDS of hours on and underwater as a diver and fisherman. Line color is not as significant as some people make it out to be. BUT this brown would be the kind of line that even they would find satisfying! Fortis is also on three of my reels because it performs well, other from that. All the boxes were checked: little (or no?) stretch, excellent sensitivity, strong knots, small diameter, good color, and no memory. Additionally, the cost makes it a fantastic decision all around!

Piscifun Onyx Braided Fishing Line 6lb-150lb Superline Abrasion Resistant Braided Lines Super Strong High Performance PE Fishing Lines Review:

I have used this excellent all-purpose line when bass fishing. In the video accompanying this review, you can see the Onyx line I bought in action along with other Piscifun goods. I suggest this line to anyone who appreciates using braided line and wants to affordably purchase a high-quality item that matches more expensive materials. With this line, I have successfully hauled my lures and fish through the densest terrain I could locate.

HERCULES Cost-Effective Super Strong 4 Strands Braided Fishing Line 6LB to 100LB Test for Salt-Water, 109/328 / 547/1094 Yards (100M / 300M / 500M / 1000M), Diam# 0.08MM - 0.55MM, Hi-Grade Review:

If you've never utilized braid, you need to be aware of its disadvantages and benefits. In comparison to monofilament line of equivalent strength, braid's diameter/thickness and castability are its two main advantages. I can cast a lot farther than I can with monofilament thanks to my usage of 50 lb braid. I enjoy fishing for huge catfish, and I can relax knowing that if one starts swimming downstream, I will have plenty of line and won't need to worry about it stealing the entire spool. The drawback of braid is its abrasion resistance. Fishing naturally coexists with rough surfaces like rocks and tree limbs. There are several large boulders nearby where I fish, as you can see in a few of my shots. If a fish were to rub up against one of these rocks, it wouldn't take a very large fish to break this line. I achieve this by using a braided mainline that is 10' long and 50 lb big game monofilament leader line attached to the end. I've discovered that a PR knot tied with a line bobbin is the best knot to use to maintain strength. You can get a video on how to tie this knot by searching on YouTube.Anyhow, I have caught numerous bluefish weighing 20 to 45 pounds and a 55-pound flathead using this line. Regarding the line's color fading, I fish in freshwater three days a week on average, and while it does, the fading isn't excessive.

There's no definitive answer to this question - it ultimately comes down to personal preference.
