These bowls are gorgeous. I misplaced everything in a move. These are excellent replacements because they match my entire collection of china. Depending on how you view the bowls, they are somewhat higher on the ends and shorter on the sides/edges in the centre, or vice versa. A little amount of edge chipping worries me. Must exercise some caution. I like them so much that even if I did chip an edge, I would replace them with the exact same set. However, they are microwave and dishwasher safe. I put them to the test on both. absolutely recommending.

These are great thus far. Because I haven't had them long enough to evaluate every aspect of them, I'm only giving them four stars. They are the ideal size for custard, baby food, little side dishes, or servings for dieters. Even though they might not be water-tight, all of my lids are very snug. I haven't checked because I don't need them to be. They look nicer and are easier and better than my standard plastic wrap on top. They CAN be used in the oven because the glass is strong and durable. (Obviously, just place bowls in the oven; do not use plastic covers.) Some customers claimed that customer service had told them they couldn't, however I'm including a picture of the inside of the box flap where it says they are "safe for the dishwasher, oven, and microwave" but not for use on the stovetop, broiler, grill, open flame, or any other direct heat source. Also, I would stay away from sudden temperature swings when using any glass product.I've had these for seven months, and I'm happy to report that they're still holding up nicely. I haven't had any breaks or chips, but I do use them to warm items up in our toaster oven (not with a broiler, though). Even when I wash everything in the dishwasher, the lids haven't warped. I think they get prettier the longer I own them! Am reclassifying to a complete five stars.

I have a lot of Duralex bowls and cups, and I would definitely rate them a 5. I've never experienced breakage problems. The smaller bowls are ideal for setting up, and the larger bowls are great for mixing. Typically, I get them directly from Duralex or from Williams-Sonoma (prices are similar or lower but shipping will get you). I purchased the 10-piece set from Amazon twice: once years ago (when I bought my first set), and once last week.The set that arrived today was not the one that was purchased from the manufacturer, but rather a grey shipping box with 10 bowls. The merchant merely gathered all the suitable sized bowls and gave them the "set" label; they were not packaged as a set.Between the 10 bowls, there were 4 distinct bottom imprints (including 1 that I am aware is fake) and a couple different Duralex stickers (which may be a thing depending on where you buy, I am not sure). Even though I think some of these bowls are probably made of real duralex, I can't be sure without the manufacturer's packaging and because I already know some of them aren't, therefore I'm returning them. This might contribute to the problem for people who have bowls that explode.For reference, a brand-new duralex set should arrive packaged as a set if you order one. You wouldn't be held responsible for returning the bowls if they were shipped in an unmarked selection in a box.

For our camping trip, we bought six bowls and six plates. We enjoy the square format a lot. Yes, we prefer to eat in style even when we're camping. Our set travels with us in our teardrop trailer, piled on their ends in a stuff sack in a bin, and even after excursions on unreliable roads, we have never experienced any issues with breaking or chipping. (Consider occasionally gravel and dirt roads.) Our dishes are tiny and can fit into a small space, which is useful while traveling in a teardrop. The Corelle dishes that my son and daughter-in-law use on a daily basis are also holding up nicely. They have a pattern on their set, and despite numerous dishwashing cycles, it hasn't faded at all. Overall, they appear to be impenetrable.

I bought two of them since they are straightforward and wonderful. I initially used them as Halloween candy for trick-or-treaters. I put plastic cockroaches in the other and ring pops in the first. I gave the kids the bowl of ring pops and asked them if they wanted candy while costumed as Beetlejuice and my wife was standing next to me dressed as Lydia Deetz. I swiftly switched in the cockroach bowl underneath their hands and exclaimed, "OR DO YOU WANT COCKROACHES MUAHAHAHAHA!" as soon as their hand entered the ring pop bowl. I questioned them after they were frightened if they would choose cockroaches or ring pops. I anticipated them to respond, "Please, ring pops," but to my astonishment, I'd say that 15% to 20% of them selected cockroaches. The kids who opted for plastic cockroaches instead of ring pops are my heroes and an inspiration to the rest of the world. This is the reason I gave those kids a ring pop and a fake bug. A plastic cockroach can scare your friends and mum for years whereas a ring pop would only be tasty for a short while. Godspeed to the youngsters.Yes, the bowls are lovely. clear and enduring fantastic for having the appearance of elegant glass bowls without the risk of breaking.

Even after looking at the accompanying photographs, I didn't anticipate that they would be this tiny. There is a noticeable size difference between the KitchenAid bowls and a regular size 10-piece melamine bowl set in my photograph. Even though I purchased the KitchenAid bowls to store cut fruit and vegetables in, I can use them to bring fruit and vegetables to work for lunch.
