The product appears to be well made. nice rope with a long reach simple to control and move. Pad quality is acceptable. The quality of "microfiber" pads is at best mediocre. I finally bought some buffing/polishing pads with the O'Reilly brand (MasterPro), which are a little huge but appear to work okay.I used it to polish my '18 Kona's hood to get rid of swirl marks from the dealership's car washes. The Griot's wax, swirl, and shine combination I used worked well with the polisher. Overall content so far, but with very little product experience.

Highly Recommended for cleaning your 6th generation Camaro exhaust tips! Mothers Cone is effective, but it doesn't go as deep as this one does. It's a fantastic tool for your tips thanks to the cylinder's size and form as well as the 10" wand extension!It absolutely works for what I bought it for, though I haven't used it for anything else yet.Use a conventional battery-operated drill instead of an electric one; it will be too much.

Three polishing heads of varied hardness and a variety of screws and installation equipment are included with the purchase of the product. Despite having a plastic body as a whole, it feels substantial in the hand and robust. Although fitting the handle over the body and locking it onto the teeth was simple, it did need considerable strength. However, it should be mentioned that this item does not come with any form of documentation. Not a big deal, but it does demand that the user is familiar with how to use and operate it.The polisher generates a fairly nasty grinding sound while operating, especially at low to medium speed. However, it did a great job of freshening up a 72 Chevelle's paint job. When employed with the right substance, of course, the gloss and shine removed decades of dreary oxidation. The brightness of the light did make any nicks and scratches more noticeable, but that is to be anticipated.If you intend to use this item frequently or on numerous vehicles, I strongly advise buying extra polishing heads to prevent color blending (as the paint color soaks deeply into the head ). I can't testify to the durability of this item either because I just bought it. We wish you a long life filled with health and care (though one has to wonder at the trade off for the lower price tag).Overall, I'd say this is a reasonable investment for someone looking to give an existing paint job a bit more oomph for the price and target market (the at-home DIYer).

functions as anticipated. 3 times as expensive with characteristics similar to DA polishers I'm not a professional detailer; I'm just a weekend warrior. Therefore, I have no idea how it compares in terms of "feel" or "intangibles," and I have no idea how it would fare under everyday use by professionals. But if I were a professional auto detailer, I'd probably pay three times as much for known quality.To me, it seemed like a high-quality product because nothing was loose or operated oddly. The gadget felt to be the correct weight. even boxed proficiently. included a bonus wash mitt and many foam wheels, none of which were labeled. Cons-wise, I suppose I wish the chord was a little bit longer. Otherwise, this product's lifespan will be its greatest asset. We can only hope it endures.

Before discovering this one, I read a ton of reviews of several orbital buffers. Since I'm not in the detailing business and don't want to risk damaging the paint on my Accord Coupe or my Harley, I don't want to use a genuine rotary.I once used a Ryobi orbital that I had altered to take hook and loop pads. If you're anything like me, you've already undoubtedly invested in the somewhat less expensive Harbor Freight D/A. Do not misunderstand me; I still value the HF DA for what it offers and at the price. On the other hand, I've been a paint repair car obsessive for about ten years now. I can confirm that the saying "you get what you pay for" is true. Even when tested with the same microfiber cutting pad and polishing agents as the HF, this machine is much smoother, quieter, has a bigger throw, and will repair poor paint much faster (i reviewed them as well). With enough time and a garden trowel, you could build a tunnel, but a shovel would be far more effective. This tool in this analogy is unquestionably a shovel. Having said that, you'll be delighted with this buy if you're a semi-serious enthusiast like myself. You will still be satisfied if you decide to pursue this as a career; HOWEVER, there are better (much more expensive) possibilities. Time is the key to everything. This tool will complete the same task as the HF in 25% less time. Upgrade to a more well-known $300 rival; you'll outperform this tool and gain more time. My wife and I purchased the MaxShine 15 for our custom detail shop.I've been using rupees for a while, but after losing two rupee 15 units in less than three years, I stopped using them.first impression right out of the boxThe attractive package the DA arrives in is the first item you'll notice.I was pleasantly happy to find the provided bag.also includes additional brushes.They provided us with the brushes as a lovely extra, just in case.The deviceInitial thoughts following usage...was repairing a faded Toyota when the DA arrived.At the time, I was using my Flex 3401.I moved it to my cart and polished the item with a MaxShine pad.The MaxShine 15 immediately felt quite comfortable in my hands.I was a little taken aback by how smooth the switch was when I pressed it because my Rupes 15 were much more expensive.To my taste...made wellUnlike the Mark II Cooler running pads, doesn't clog down.The backing plate looks fantastic.It includes openings on the side as well as under the backing plate, allowing hot air to escape and keeping my pads cooler.The fact that MaxShine is produced by MaxShine is always a plus.They provide you a lifetime warranty as a result, even on a less priced model.Despite two minor issues, I awarded it a 5-star rating.Although I can replace the power cord myself, it could be better.The DA has fast starts rather than sluggish starts, but I quickly got used to it.I'll purchase 2 extras for our staff.

This is a brief instruction and a list of the supplies you'll need to achieve amazing results.Wash your automobile first.The first step in any body work is this. Use only microfibre, please. TERRY CLOTHS AND HOUSEHOLD RAGS SHOULD NOT BE USED AS THESE RAGS WILL DAMAGE YOUR PAINT AND CAUSE SMALL SCRUBS.Clay Bar 2Grab your preferred clay bar and start sculpting your glass and paint. The clay should occasionally be turned over and kneaded to obtain a clean or new side. Use a fast detailer spray or clay bar lube. Complete tiny parts at a time, wiping away extra product as you go.3:IPAIn a spray bottle, combine distilled water and isopropyl alcohol (I would research to see what you are comfortable with). This will remove any remaining wax, clay bar, or sealant from the vehicle.4. Identify the task that needs to be done.Many people approach this situation with an all or nothing mentality. Inconsistencies such as scuffs, wet marks, bird droppings, and other flaws should be examined. The next step is to establish the absolute minimum that can be used to remove scratches. You should compound if you have a lot of paint correction with deep scratches. You should polish it if there are only a few scratches and a water spot. But the purpose of this step is to decide what you must employ.5:Compound/PolishPolish is less abrasive than compound. With this in mind, start with the least aggressive approach to complete the task, depending on what you decided in the preceding phase. Move up in the compounds if it doesn't work to remove all defects (like 36 to a 38 in this kit). When you have removed all of the flaws, you may move on to polishing the entire car.Sixth, use a sealant.Recently, I used Jet Seal. Personally, I enjoy it. In essence, a sealer guards your paint against contaminants like water stains, dirt, and bird droppings. In addition, Jet Seal makes your paint surface hydrophobic, which is rather good.7: Use your preferred wax.You can use any type of wax. Personally, I prefer to use liquid wax. A polisher equipped with the appropriate pad can be used to distribute liquid wax. The goal of our job is to be more efficient.Really, that's all there is to it. Just keep in mind that not all flaws will show. I would anticipate getting out roughly 90% of the flaws on a neglected paint job. Then there are some things that these goods in this package cannot eradicate. These treatments won't remove deep scratches that are into the paint finish or show metal. Orange peel is another flaw that cannot be fully buffed out. It will be necessary to wet sand these two types of flaws, or the panel will need to be repainted.Make research.
