Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula with Vitamin E Body Lotion, 13.5 Ounces Review:

LIFE LIFE LIFE. I have nothing but positive things to say about this product. I am aware that coconut oil is currently very popular. However, I used to use Palmer's cocoa butter lotion, but I could no longer stand the smell. Then, one day, I noticed Palmer's had introduced a coconut oil lotion as I was trying to replace the cocoa butter lotion. Issue resolved! This product has an amazing scent. A woman said to me as I was in the elevator, "Who has the beach holiday scent? It's fantastic." Identify who it was. Palmer's and my coconut oil cream. The most crucial detail is that it really WORKS. I've been using Cetaphil for years because I was hesitant to switch after my dermatologist suggested it years ago. But I eventually understood that I wasn't experiencing the reduction in dry skin that I had actually hoped for. This lotion maintains the moisture in my arms and legs. I have had dry, itchy, flaky skin on the backs of my arms and shins my entire life. But this lotion clears it up, doesn't feel greasy, has a wonderful scent, and has helped my arms' keratosis pilaris.Try this if you enjoy cocoa butter lotion. You'll AGREE.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Lotion with Soothing Oat and Rich Emollients to Nourish Dry Skin, Fragrance-Free, 18 fl. oz Review:

In general, I don't feel forced to write reviews, but I felt it was worthwhile to express my thoughts on this particular item. Since I can remember, I have had mild eczema and winter dryness. Due to the nature of my job (chemist), which requires me to wear nitrile gloves for the majority of the day while performing lab work and frequently wash my hands, my hands frequently get really nasty. I've only found this product to be effective for me. During the colder months, I only use it once a day after getting out of the shower. My skin normally becomes almost problem-free during the warmer months as a result of spending more time outside and in the ocean, warmer temperatures, greater humidity, etc. But it's this product that helps me get through the winter. I've tried Cetaphil Eczema Soothing Body Moisturizer and CeraVe (both the lotion and the cream), but neither of them work well for me. Applications that are too oily bother my skin. What I appreciate most about Aveeno is how completely non-greasy it feels. My skin doesn't feel sticky or residue-y when it absorbs rapidly. I don't apply this lotion unless I feel the need to because I use it more as a reactionary than a preventative response to eczema rashes or just overall dryness. My rashes often disappeared a week or two after I started using it once daily.I should also add that due to previous usage of topical corticosteroids, I had to endure the agonizing process known as Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) / Red Skin Syndrome. I was unable to moisturize my skin at all during TSW, but I am now able to use this Aveeno without any problems. I'm quite wary of topical steroids as an eczema treatment after experiencing that utterly crippling condition, but that's another story. Your results may vary, however I firmly believe that this cream is beneficial for anyone with normal dry skin or moderate eczema.

Aquaphor Healing Ointment - Moisturizing Skin Protectant for Dry Cracked Hands, Heels and Elbows - 14 oz. Jar Review:

I had surgery a few years ago, and as a result, my foot is now scarred, dry, and calloused. This is mainly because there are many metal plates, cables, and screws holding the bones together, which makes the skin feel a little numb to the touch. To no avail, I've tried countless products, bathed in water, and filed to at least try to cure some of the extreme dryness that occasionally breaks open and bleeds. I recently embarked on yet another search for anything or any suggestions to solve this issue when I stumbled onto Aquaphor. Oh sure, another petroleum-based ointment, I thought. I finally gave it a shot, and wow, was I impressed! Where has this item been all my life? The very following day, I noticed a significant change in how my skin felt to the touch. After more than a month of use, it's still functional! You try it out, it works for a week, then it doesn't work anymore. But this stuff is really great. Even though I have skipped the morning application when I've been running late and it hasn't had any negative affects, I still apply it in the morning before leaving for work and again after a shower.I discovered yesterday at work that even the typically dry skin around the fingernails had improved. By simply massaging the Aquaphor over my feet, my nails also appear to be getting stronger and more even. I also discovered that I use it far less frequently than I do other lotions of the so-called aggressive therapy variety. I haven't even used a quarter of the 14oz jar after a month of use. Sincerely, I advise using this product if you have certain problematic regions. I've never been happier in my life!On October 11, 2016, I made the decision to update you on how I've been using this product. Additionally, I'm still using my original 14-ounce jar, so the five stars are still valid. Now that I have pneumonia, I can add that I blow my nose a lot. However, as the soreness from using so many tissues set in, I decided to try Aquaphor on my sad red nose. fantastic concept Before the day was over, the tightness and redness subsided, and I no longer needed to reapply after every tissue use. The effectiveness of this product is amazing!

Jergens Ultra Healing Dry Skin Moisturizer, 32 Ounce Body Lotion, for Absorption into Extra Dry Skin, with HYDRALUCENCE blend, Vitamins C, E, and B5 Review:

I'm pleased I mistakenly bought two bottles of this. Since October of last year, I've already used one. The lotion has a pleasant light scent that dissipates after an hour. The aroma blends very nicely with my own distinctive body odor. It works well to moisturize regular skin and leaving it feeling soft, non-greasy, but slightly sticky. My hand and back, where I have eczema patches, are unfortunate areas where this product isn't hydrating enough. I have to reapply the lotion several times to have the skin in these regions as hydrated as the rest of my body. For those with regular skin types, this lotion works well overall. You may need to apply several coats if your skin is dry. 4.5 out of 5 stars, would buy again.

Lubriderm Daily Moisture Hydrating Unscented Body Lotion with Vitamin B5 for Normal to Dry Skin, Non-Greasy and Fragrance-Free Lotion. 24 fl. oz Review:

thinner than a cream, more akin to a thick liquid Good for larger body parts like the arms and legs, however for the hands and feet, I want something thicker. After taking a shower, I have to apply lotion all over, and while I am moist, this is acceptable because of how thin it is and how quickly and easily I can distribute it. There is no aroma, but it "sweats off" by the next day, unlike some other, more expensive products I have used, such Amlactin, which last through activities.

Weleda Skin Food, 2.5 Ounce Review:

I chose to try Skin Food with the idea of using it on my face after reading thousands of positive reviews in the beauty world about it being a LaMer dupe. I really appreciate this product overall, but the following are things I wish I had known before purchasing it:- It has a consistency that is quite thick, like cream cheese. I wish I were joking, but this is the way it is. At first, I thought perhaps the formula was cold or damaged. It must be warmed up in your hands before use!- It smells very strongly. Personally, I didn't like the smell because it was really herbal and natural due to the oils utilized, which included calendula, rosemary, and sweet almond oil. This might not be for those who like lighter scents. My skin appears quite greasy because to the cream cheese recipe. I had anticipated it would go into my skin easily, but instead I get glittery residue all over. No matter how much you warm it up, dab it on, or wipe it off, nothing seems to work. This won't appear well beneath your makeup. Using a dab as a highlighter on the cheekbones? Yes. using it as a moisturizing primer before applying makeup? You'll resemble a snowman that is melting. The ultimate decision? Despite what I just said, this works really well as a nighttime moisturizer. When you put additional serums underneath, it locks them in, and my face appears bouncy and radiant when I wake up in the morning. It's all-natural, free of preservatives like mineral oil, and reasonably priced. Will repurchase!

NIVEA Essentially Enriched Body Lotion - 48 Hour Moisture For Dry to Very Dry Skin - 16.9 fl. oz. Pump Bottle Review:

I combine this with the Nivea body cleanser, and I'd suggest using both. Nivea works better for me than any other brand because I have skin troubles. I do, however, have a few suggestions for utilizing this lotion. First, I wet my hands before using this. I do since it is quite thick and difficult to distribute. This will also help it absorb much more quickly. Furthermore, you won't require as much of it (but you won't give up the moisture it offers, preserving the suppleness of your skin). Second, I must emphasize how well it complements the body wash of the same brand. Your skin feels already softer after using it when you get out of the shower. The fact that both items are far less priced than competing brands is a benefit. Now, I do have to give one more tidbit because it could affect your choice. It has a little baby powder scent, but it's not overpowering.*The scent of the body wash is different. The smell does diminish fairly fast so you won't over-stimulate the noses of other people in your life. It's more of just a fresh smell, so the two of them together kind of blend and it smells ok...but not like fresh baby powder ;)I hope this is useful. (I always read other people's reviews on Amazon before making a purchase.)

Original, Natural Hemp Seed Oil Body Moisturizer with Shea Butter and Ginseng, 17 Fl Oz - Pure Herbal Skin Lotion for Dryness - Nourishing Vegan Body Cream in Floral and Banana Review:

This is the first review I've ever written, but I felt it was vital for a product as contentious as this one. When I was hunting for this Hempz lotion, I discovered numerous Amazon sellers who were getting complaints that their lotion wasn't the genuine article; customers said it was a knockoff. Due to my obsession with Hempz products, I was apprehensive to buy this item. I am quite particular about the lotion I use; it must be hydrating but not greasy. While still moisturizing and nourishing enough to make a difference, the product is light enough to use day and night. The aroma of the Hempz lotion is also fantastic; it is labeled as "floral and banana," but I would describe it as creamy, light, and flowery with a faint tinge of banana. It's just sweet enough and not overpowering. Basically, if you're searching for a multipurpose lotion that hydrates skin without being thick or oily, this is the best lotion ever. That concludes my broad assessment of the product. Years ago, I used to buy this lotion from salons all around California, but now that I'm a college student and don't have a car or the time to drive around seeking for my favorite lotion, I thought I'd give Amazon a shot. It was alluring because of the lower costs and free shipping available with my prime membership. I purchased the lotion from Amazing Innovation despite the stigma. I must inform you that THIS IS THE REAL PRODUCT. This is the same lotion that I spent $25 on at a salon, the Hempz. The new lotion is exactly the same as some that I had on hand from my previous bottle, according to my comparison. identical lotion, identical ingredients, and identical bottle. NOTHING HERE IS A KNOCK-OFF. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT IF YOU LIKE Hempz lotion or IF YOU'RE JUST LOOKING FOR A NEW GREAT LOOCH THAT WORKS FOR AN AMAZING PRICE WITH GREAT DELIVERY TIMING (TWO DAY SHIPPING WITH PRIME). I apologize for the capitalization; I was simply so thrilled. Purchase this item from Amazing Innovations!

CeraVe SA Lotion for Rough & Bumpy Skin | 8 Ounce | Vitamin D, Hyaluronic Acid, Salicylic Acid & Lactic Acid Lotion | Fragrance Free Review:

After using Amlactin and Cerave, which are different medicines but appear to be designed to accomplish the same task, I can state that Cerave is the clear victor for a number of reasons. Cerave triumphs because to texture, fragrance, and overall feel, despite the fact that effects take longer to manifest. I worked so hard for almost a year to appreciate Amlactin, but compared to Cerave, it feels and smells awful.SKIN SMOOTHING POWER: Cerave smoothes the skin more effectively, but it takes a little longer to see benefits. I would frequently pick at little irritated pimples that weren't acne but could mimic terrible skin when I was taking amlactin. Although I could not be happier to dump the Amlactin, I'll take sluggish progress over a foul feel and smell any day. If you have severe KP, you might want to try both, and even rotate them.SCENT: Cerave has no odor at all. Amlactin, in contrast, has a sour stench that, depending on how much you apply, stays for at least an hour or two. It's not good to use it on your face! Cerave, however, has no aroma at all. I have no problems using it on my face and under makeup.TEXTURE: Amlactin and Cerave both have what seems to be a pudding-like texture, but Cerave is simpler to apply because it absorbs more quickly. Amlactin causes oily skin. You couldn't walk across a hardwood floor without socks or slippers for at least 15-20 minutes after applying Amlactin to your feet.Amlactin is the winner if you're looking for heavy moisture in terms of moisturizing power. However, Cerave is the winner if you desire hydration that feels clean. My skin feels slightly moistened after using Cerave, but I don't have very dry skin—just skin that doesn't slough off well. I prefer Cerave since it doesn't leave my skin feeling uncomfortably greasy despite the fact that my face is oily.Price-wise, Cerave and Amlactin come out to be around the same for the same quantity of product. If you can find either of them for less than $13, you are getting a good deal. They both cost between $12 and $15 for an 8oz bottle.AMLACTIN IS STILL WORTH CHECKING OUT FOR KP Sufferers IF MOISTURE IS YOUR TOP PRIORITY AND YOU CAN STAND THE GROSS SMELL AND FEEL. However, Cerave is much, much easier to tolerate in my opinion if you value pure moisture and a light feeling on the skin and are willing to wait a little longer for results.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Lotion For Stretch Marks and Pregnancy Skin Care, 8.5 Oz. Review:

I had no idea cocoa butter could treat scars so well! I purchased this to use at home after my physical therapist used it on me for scar therapy (I have a scar that spans from the middle of my back over to under my arm, so it's quite a huge scar). One of the biggest scars I've ever had is just a faint line and is fading much more quickly than any of my other scars. Usually, my scars enlarge a little, sometimes just in one spot, and they take a long time to lose their redness. The smell, while not one I'd necessarily define as beautiful (i.e., not one I would apply because of the perfume), is, in my opinion, nice and barely perceptible. I don't feel sticky after, and the absorption is excellent.
