For a tilt trim switch on a spalshwell mounted vintage Mercury outboard, I purchased this switch. The wiring only took around 45 minutes, and I really like it. Although my 1987 Mercury outboard lacks a mounting point on the engine cowling, it is still convenient to be able to raise and lower the engine from the back to install the transom saver. Consider purchasing a second switch to place in the bow area as well.

On my 30-year-old RV, a 12V mother toggle switch that was overloaded failed. There are no available replacement switches. We were able to rearrange all the wires so they weren't piggybacked on a 3 gang toggle with the assistance of a buddy who is familiar with Marine DC and this panel, and we also switched over the wiring from the other good toggles. I now have floor lights, outside lights, functional heating thermostats, and working overhead lights. If you're a landlubber, use your imagination since this comes with stick-on labels for sea use.

The majority of electrical projects benefit greatly from toggle switches. I wanted to bypass the zone start safety device on my Snapper lawn mower, among other things. The mower breaks down every time I have to stop it to pick up some garbage, a child's toy, or even to empty the grass bag. Therefore, I inserted one of these switches on the operator console without following the original setup.All I had to do was cut the wire that started the ignition coil and attach some wire I already had to the switch. I carried out a professional installation using the OEM wire loom. I just routed a second wire for the ground to the handle after that. I just got around to installing the 3 prong DCFlat 12v 20 Amp Waterproof Blue LED On/Off Boat Marine Rocker Switch with Light (5 x Blue LED) that I bought from Dcflat-direct on February 26th. My task was to upgrade the front and rear lighting on my F250 pickup. I intended to use these switches in place of the ones that came with the Mictuning harnesses. It only required removing the wires from the harness switches and pushing them onto the new switches to complete the task.I'm really like the new switches so far. When they are toggled on and off, they make a solid sound and feel. Only when the switches are in the on position do the led lights turn on. There are no battery drain issues. If the LEDs are too bright at night, only time will tell. If so, I'll cover them in electrical tape or a black Sharpie to make them darker.The switches do not come with a wiring diagram, as several commenters have noted. My setup is as follows: At the bottom of the switch, there are two pins that are closely spaced apart, and at the top, there is one pin. The ground pin is on top. The power pins are at the bottom. Your ground source is connected to the top pin. The center pin is used to connect to a battery or 12V power supply. Your accessory, in my case the additional lights, is connected by the bottom pin.The transaction was seamless. The item was delivered on time, and the pricing ($13.00 Prime) was quite reasonable. I have previously spent that much for a single swap. Right now, I still have three for my other projects!
