I'm not sure if frame bags are worth it. I've seen some that are pretty expensive. I'm not sure if they offer enough storage to justify the price. I've seen some people use them and they seem to like them, so I guess it depends on what you need.

It's a good idea to have this attachment, especially for lengthy bike journeys. The bag mounts quickly and firmly to the handlebar and rests on the stem and frame of the bike. It is composed of a very strong and durable material. This is a fantastic product that is nicely crafted and works as promised. The velcro straps firmly fasten it to the frame, it fits my iPhone X with a Lifeproof case, and the touchscreen functions. There is enough space for keys, a phone battery, or a bike light. I have the Autolock set to "never" since I want to track my progress on the map (All Trails). Well constructed; should keep everything dry even in heavy rain (in which case I wouldn't be riding). Though anyone can access the zipper or unhook the velcro if you leave your phone and keys in the compartment while your bike is parked (I only gave 3 stars for security).

I'm quite happy with how much space this bike backpack has for storage. The zipper is quite snug, and it properly accommodates my iPhone 8 Plus. Although I haven't used it in the rain yet, I am positive that it is waterproof. Also of very high caliber and durability is the Velcro. Our Wednesday night bike journeys to the pizza are now considerably simpler as a result. My daughter had to put her phone, keys, and wallet in her bike basket before we could get the bike bag. Based on my de-boxing, examination, mounting, and a couple of brief (empty) rides, I have given this a "early five-star evaluation."Some people have brought up problems with Ibera bags' quality control. This one underwent a thorough inspection, and I found no loose seams, dangling threads, broken zippers, damaged fasteners, etc. The zippers were well-made and snug. The Velcro fasteners were evenly spaced and well-fixed. The overall dimensions were accurate, and the piping was evenly applied.A Xéfal pump is positioned directly in front of my seat tube on my 1990 Schwinn Worldsport, which has a chrome-moly frame. I was worried that the single set of Velcro strips wouldn't be able to wrap around the tube and pump. No issue. I had enough cloth to overlap the bag by at least half an inch, thus holding it in place and preventing it from swinging.Even on a narrow bike like the Worldsport, the breadth is cozy. I didn't bang my legs on it, and unless I was overstuffed, I wouldn't anticipate it to be a problem. I had a small concern about the bottom angle because I didn't want it to obstruct my bottle cage. Once more, my worries were unjustified. My water bottle may move in and out of the cage without being impeded by the bag when the bag is securely fastened to the top bar (that is, when the top of the bag is snuggly against the bottom of the top bar).This appears to be a fantastic deal all around. It is well-made, fits well, has two exterior and one interior zippered pocket (I purchased the large bag), attaches quickly (and securely), and wasn't outrageously expensive.

Okay, so this bag doesn't have a basic flaw, but it also doesn't have anything really unique about it. I suppose I anticipated it to be a little more durable and of higher caliber... I'll explain. There are no seam seals anywhere, the fabric is thin and inflexible, and while the zipper is "sealed," this just means that it is covered with fabric as opposed to being lined with a rubber liner as is the case with high-quality gear. Additionally, the extra compartment on the outside is just a mesh net, which I wouldn't trust with anything more than a snack. The bag's thickness or width is slightly over 1 34 inches.If all you want to use the bag for is carrying random objects, it will work good for the price. I really wouldn't be too enthusiastic about it because it doesn't really inspire confidence, can't promise to be weatherproof, is quite thin, and requires you to give up your water-bottle cage in order to mount it. In my situation, I'll give it to my youngest child because his bike frame is too little to support any other kind of carrying bag. Therefore, it will be fine for a child.

The VUP top tube bag's size and style have me very happy. Like none I've ever owned or encountered. First off, the structure and material quality are clearly visible; there are no loose threads, no chemical odor, clean seams, and a solid but not bulky feeling. When stretched to widths where my dedicated silicone phone holder starts to turn white, the silicone utilized to hold the phone in place does so more readily than it does when used alone. Both the zippers and the pivot upon which the phone is supported are strong and reliable. Finding items inside a pouch with a light blue lining is considerably easier than one with a dark or no lining. Since Velcro straps are long and skinny, they may be adjusted to accommodate bikes of all shapes and sizes. I purchased this for use on my brother-in-hybrid law's bike, but I'm really tempted to retain it for my plus-sized hardtail. The Bontrager Elite medium seat bag is now mounted on my hardtail (along with a silicone seatpost strap I couldn't resist), but it contains less items, is more difficult to access, and is quickly being destroyed by my tires everytime I have to lower my saddle. The only aspect of the VUP bag that I would modify is the color of the paint used for the logo and graphics; I would choose black rather than silver. Pros: An appealing bag that is affordable and simple to install. I can keep my Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime phone in its case in the front while holding some other items, such as snacks and keys, in the back. (I have a second under-seat backpack for a pump and bike repair supplies.) There are no manufacturing-related problems after a month.Cons: These cases are reportedly designed to display your route maps, but I've been told that operating your phone is prohibited for liability reasons. I had to open the case, pull open the velcro supports, and drag the phone out in order to access my controls, which are on the side. I just put the necessities in there since if the bag is overstuffed, they might fly out when you do that. The front screen can be used to answer calls; however, it is not as sensitive as claimed, and if the setting is not changed to daylight before leaving, you won't be able to see anything. I typically have to open the case and take the phone out in order to use it. When I'm riding, I don't have a remote mic with me.In terms of overheating, it hasn't been an issue while riding so far, generally in temperatures between the mid-70s and low-80s (low western humidity) for a few hours at a time. However, if the phone is resting in the sun, it will always overheat. It probably won't function properly in warmer climates. It does fit on my Townie, however it does not sit up as beautifully as shown in the diagram; instead, it is more vertical.

Since this is the only style of bag that can truly fit on my MTB without getting in the way, I was overjoyed to finally obtain it. Due to my dropper, I am unable to utilize a saddle bag because doing so would put my rear tire dangerously close to it and create rubbing while I was using some aggressive techniques. Then, because of the way my shock interferes with the geometry of my bike, I am unable to place one in the triangle. This therefore looked to be the ideal answer. Sincerely, it mainly functions, however I do have a complaint.PROS: - It is big enough to fit a ton of items but not so big that it resembles a backpack for trekking.Good, sturdy material took muck and rain and held up.– Strong Velcro straps. They fasten and stay put.CONS: I'm disappointed about this. Although the straps are excellent and, for the most part, hold it in place, the bottom strap that attaches to the top tube is not particularly well made. The strap moves around because it merely glides through a few openings on the bottom of the bag. You can move the bag left or right even when the strap is firmly in place and tight. On each ride so far, whenever I made abrupt spins, quick endos, or incredibly quick burms, I felt this. Imagine the impact of a centrifugal force. The bag is now significantly displaced to one side of the top tube, causing it to slightly sag downward and then being hit by my knee. Sucky!

I can now give a knowledgeable opinion after using the vehicle for more than 40 miles. Without regard to order...-I have a bike that is more than 30 years old, therefore I needed something that would complement my tail bag that was also over 30 years old. Is it a rule these days that everything must have "radical" styling that makes it appear to have come from an alien spaceship? There are no showy embellishments, pinstripes, skulls, or anything else on this bag except than reflective piping. The logo is hardly audible. Perfect!-The Velcro strap on the fork keeps the two bottom Velcro straps on my top bar firmly in place. The straps are quite long, so I had to shorten them. If you decide to do so, make sure to cut them long enough so that the end may be tucked in between the frame and the bag to stop it from unraveling. The weight occasionally causes an off-center balance, causing the bag to shift, but only slightly—maybe a half inch or so. whoop whoop.The upper flap of the top bag has a touch screen membrane that is undoubtedly smartphone compatible. If it works for my phone, which is an older Galaxy S5 in a case, it should also work for yours. You can put anything there, from a smartphone to a solar charger, because the flap has linked adjustable Velcro halves that shut firmly around whatever you place there. Indeed, it has solar chargers inside in it. This bag works with sustainable energy sources!-I find it redundant since the bag has a little self-sealing slit for earphone cords on the back. People, it's the twenty-first century. Employ Bluetooth earbuds (keep one ear free for situational awareness, though). In case you were curious, Bluetooth devices function flawlessly in this bag. Keep them charged with a solar charger that is attached to the top, and when it is full, replace it with a smartphone that has music downloaded. But I only bike that way.My knees can and will occasionally brush up against the bag while I bike. When you're on the trail, it's simple to overlook anything like this. Even while the bag only adds one or two inches of width on either side, its ability to hold luggage more than makes up for it.-On my rides, I can fit EVERYTHING in my pockets, including my Bluetooth headphones, wallet, change, pocket knife, and solar charger, into this bag so that nothing is rattling around in my pockets as I pedal. My riding gloves are stored when I put the bike away so I always know where they are. When I'm not looking, one or both gloves always manage to disappear.-Although the bag appears to be nothing more than a thin plastic box in the pictures, it actually features a softly padded interior to absorb any impacts. If you drop the bike by accident, it will soften the fall but won't shield the contents from a hammer.-With the bag mounted, I am unable to secure the front end of the bike with my bike carrier's strap. The bag is flexible enough to allow me to thread the carrier's strap through the gap between it and the frame.-Zippers may occasionally be challenging to close when the bag is fully stuffed. That has less to do with a zipper issue than it does with the bag being warped from being overstuffed. The issue is resolved by readjusting the contents of the bag.-Others have made numerous comments on the bag's waterproofness. Since I don't ride in downpours, I can't speak to that, but because it's a solid panel, I can state with certainty that it is much more water resistant than any bag made of woven cloth (like my 30-plus-year-old tail bag). No matter what the commercials claim, if a product is made of woven fabric, it will ultimately leak if left outside in the rain. 90% of bags won't fit you if you frequently ride in the wet, including this one. Opt for an Otter box.Overall, a fantastic compact bag that exactly suits my devoted 30-plus year old stallion. There may be more expensive bags available, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are of higher quality.
