I should preface this review by saying that because I have IBS, this product definitely has a bigger influence on my life than it would have on someone with regular bowel motions. I've been debating acquiring a bidet for a long time, but for some reason I never did. I now regret my hesitation after witnessing the toto washlet magic. If I had bought a bidet sooner, I could have spared all the discomfort brought on by toilet paper and/or wet wipes. Other than the Toto washlets, there are other bidets available on the market, although they aren't as good. It's possible that you and some of me are questioning why they are so expensive, but all I can say is that it's worth the cost. Take into account the cost of toilet paper, wet wipes, and suffering on both a financial and environmental level. A bidet is a wise solution if you want to limit the amount of waste you produce because all of that paper waste is just nasty.IBS had been giving me a lot of trouble, and it had even made me a few times late for class, but I never would have had any problems if there had been a bidet like this. I made the decision to acquire the best of the best because I never want to deal with issues like that again. This is the best thing ever. Since you never touch anything unclean, you may potentially use the restroom without washing your hands. When I approach the toilet, it senses my presence, unlocks the lid, and immediately begins misting the bowl. I set the trou down, take a seat, and pick up the remote. It took me a long, but that was just due to where my toilet was in the bathroom. The side I wanted access to was closest to the wall because my toilet is tucked away in a nook against a wall. When installing this, keep the following in mind:Be certain to buy a roll of plumber's tape. Be generous in your application as you roll it around the male thread sticking out of the bottom of the toilet tank. Just be sure it's reasonably taut. Then, you should repeat the process with the male thread on the adapter piece that is included in the washlet package. Since you don't need to be a contortionist to reach it, this one is considerably simpler to get right. Once you've completed that, you may attach everything. Just be careful not to cross threads or misalign, and everything should work well. Once everything is connected, look for leaks. In my experience, they always originated at the adapter and male thread connection found underneath the toilet tank. If there are no leaks discovered there, you can proceed to plugging in the washlet and living lavishly.Hope that was useful.

The Ellegantz GenieBidet seat is the subject of my first evaluation. For one day, I have owned the GenieBidet. This review will discuss my thoughts on the GenieBidet seat and compare it to the Luxe Bidet Neo 110 that I had to return.Why I ordered the GenieBidet instead of the Luxe Bidet Neo 110:I'll start by discussing the Luxe Neo 110, which I used before purchasing the GenieBidet. After reading the countless positive reviews, I decided to get the Neo 110. An add-on bidet called the Neo 110 is put behind the back of your present toilet seat. In the brief time I owned it, the Neo 110 seemed to be a high-quality item. It had a metal braided hose, strong plastic construction, great water pressure, and performed as intended. After I had it put, I was quite pleased with it. The moment I understood the underlying flaw in the under-the-seat design, I decided to return it and try the GenieBidet instead.The issue with the Luxe Neo 110 design is that it elevates the seat's back, forcing the seat to slant downhill from back to front. As a result, just the front of my toilet seat made contact with the bowl, and there was a sizable space between the middle of my seat and the bowl beneath it. By bending the centre of my plastic seat while I was sitting, I could forcefully close this gap. The seat would bend back into the suspended position if weight were removed from it. Due to constant contact between the front of the seat and the bowl and its attachment to the Neo 110 frame, the midsection of the seat experienced the most flexing. I was concerned that the continuous stress cycles might eventually cause the seat to crack. I purchased rubber toilet bumpers and fastened them to the centre of the seat to close the gap in an effort to fix the problem. This was a partially effective solution, but the bumpers kept coming off, didn't completely block the gap, and simply seemed like a pretty shoddy workaround. I considered sanding the toilet seat's bottom and using epoxy to firmly fasten the bumpers in order to address the problem of them coming off, but I eventually gave up and started exploring for alternatives. I chose to try the GenieBidet even though the Neo 110 seemed to be a high-quality product because I simply couldn't accept the seat-gap difficulties. Luxe should provide a full-featured bidet seat that resembles the GenieBidet, in my opinion.I'll discuss about my experience with the GenieBidet Seat after you've read about my experience with an under-the-seat add-on bidet. These are my early findings, having just finished installing it. If necessary, I'll change my review in the future.GenieBidet Seat by Ellegantz:Installation:About 45 minutes were needed for the GenieBidet installation. I had to read the directions, though. Although the first step of the instructions mentions attaching rubber pieces, I believe they already have them. I installed it utilizing the "second way," which involves fastening the plastic "adapter plate," as described in the instructions, using screws on top of the toilet and nuts on the bottom of the toilet. The docking station that the seat locks onto is the adaptor plate. I'm not sure whether or why utilizing the expansion nuts is preferable, even though they are listed in the instructions as the "preferred way" of installation. Anyway, I was careful not to over-tighten the bolts when I screwed down the GenieBidet adapter plate because with enough effort, I'm sure the plastic adapter plate might have been broken.It is simple to connect the water hose, which goes from the GenieBidet to a plastic T-adapter that is included and connects to the toilet tank fill line. It will leak if you don't utilize all of the rubber gaskets. During shipping, the rubber gasket on my hose's bidet side came off. In the bag, I discovered it. I don't have any leaks right now. However, there is a very small gap between the rear built-in seat bumper of my GenieBidet and my toilet bowl, which I wish wasn't there. The GenieBidet seat does flex very slightly to close this gap. Ellegantz might be able to fix this "problem" if they lengthened the bumper on the back seat, but I'm not sure. If I hadn't previously dealt with the seat slope concerns on the Luxe Neo 110, I would not have noticed this minor gap, which is hardly a cause to avoid this product.It is pleasantly comfortable and the seat quality looks to be better than my previous, cheap toilet seat. The reviews that noted the seat being marginally too short in the front and leaving a tiny space on the front of the toilet worried me before I even placed my order. Some of the other reviews have pictures of this. Let me say that if it is too short, it is only by about 1/4 inch, so I guess I have this "problem" (6.35 mm). If I hadn't read about it in the other reviews, I wouldn't have paid any attention to this because it doesn't disturb me at all. It does not seem to cause any issues with functionality or seat support, and it is not a problem for me. It wouldn't be noticed by anyone else.Aesthetics:It looks pretty good, the GenieBidet.

I chose to install a washlet/bidet in one of the toilets as I was changing them anyhow. I also looked at Toto, Alpha, Bio, and Brondell units before deciding on the K300 SW3036. I'm delighted with my decision.I wanted the following features: * Remote control. Since the remote can be hung more conveniently and the buttons are easier to view, reaching beside and slightly behind you appears incredibly inconvenient.1. Presets. What is ideal for me might not be ideal for other family members.* Slim or not overly bulky. These units are huge, which you might not be aware of. The C200 series and its rivals are tall—like, nine inches or so tall.* "Unlimited" or "tankless." There have been complaints about pre-warmed water going out. Not a problem if it's quickly warmed. Additionally, tankless models are thinner because tanks frequently take up a lot of room.* Pre-Mist. When you sit down, the washlet pre-mists the toilet bowl to stop biomass from adhering. helps keep things clean. Only Toto appears to provide this.Things I don't care about or don't desire that you may have heard about– Two wands. Even if Brondell makes a great deal out of it, this means that neither wand is in the center. The K300 has three nozzles, two of which are for the rear's wide and focused sprays and one for the front's centered, feminine spray. (All sprays have an adjustable distance.)Metal wands Brondell claims that they have metal that is of a medical quality once more. The majority of sterile items in hospitals are plastic, I believe.- Spray that oscillates. The K300 has it; I just wasn't interested in it (and still am). Instead, controllably rock back and forth a little.- Drier. The majority of apartments have it, although it does take a while to dry you.– Auto-Open My cats are. This would be a toy for unending cat entertainment, considering history with soap dispensers, trash cans, etc.Other features include soft-close, status lights, cleaning mode, adjustable settings, and heated seats, which almost all include.I chose the K300 since it meets my needs, is brand-new (launched in 2018), and comes from the company that leads the washlet industry.Install as a toilet seat, use the T-adapter for the water line, plug in, and put batteries in the remote to complete the installation. The T-Adapter is the challenging component since it was challenging to get it into the little hole and keep the washers from leaking. This was installed on a Toto UltraMax toilet, but it will fit just about any toilet that accepts conventional elongated seats as long as there is some space between the seat and tank.What's up? Nice and useful. The status lights offer a pleasant, non-blinding nighttime illumination. The water starts out warm, and I'm not sure how it does it. It sounds as though it would launch a burst of cold water in a different direction at first. Although it appears that the seat has a narrower aperture than a typical toilet seat, this hasn't been a problem—it just doesn't look like what you might expect.A model cheat sheet:The Toto A-line is a basic model line; it lacks a dryer, a premiss, etc.The Toto C-line includes a few extra functions like a dryer, premiss, and hot water storage in a tank.The A and C 200 feature a remote control; the A and C 100 have controls on the seat.The K300 (this model) is thinner, provides tankless, endless hot water instantly, has a remote with presets, and has a few additional options.The premium models from Toto are much thinner (and come with immediate, limitless hot water) and have auto-open, nightlights, etc.Similar to the Toto C200, Brondell's (also new) Swash SE600 has a remote, a tank, a steel wand, but no per-user settings.The Brondell Swash SE1400 is similar to the Toto eWater electrolyzed water in the S-series and has dual metal wands and nozzle sterilization. It also conceals the wires and hoses better than the Toto models.Even if there are more Brondell units, those are the top near-picks.A similar-sized and somewhat less expensive competitor to the K300 is the Alpha JX. Because Alpha doesn't have a strong market presence and my toilet is a Toto, I decided to spend more money on the K300 because it has a premist. But the JX has a solid reputation despite its small size.Because there were too many reported quality issues from too many different sources, I disqualified the Bio Bidet line from consideration.

The Luxe Neo 110, a separate model, on the other hand, is clearly not covert, as it has a sizable control panel sticking out from the toilet (which could be bumped). Having said that, I didn't find the Neo 110's control panel to be an issue.Sprayer Purpose:I'm happy with how the GenieBidet's sprayer works so far. I did have to change the pressure regulator to raise the water pressure (read your instructions). The GenieBidet still has a lower maximum pressure than the Neo 110 even after adjustments, but this might be a good thing since the water pressure on the GenieBidet is more than sufficient, but the Neo 110 is probably too much pressure for many people on high. Without conducting any objective measures, I'd say the Genie on high is comparable to the Neo 110 on "low" (still quite a bit). In addition, the Genie Bidet features a second front sprayer that the Neo 110 does not. This second sprayer makes a significant difference and is a necessary component, according to reliable sources.Sprayer Placement:On the GenieBidet, both sprayers are placed close to the back of the seat, where they are elevated considerably above the water in the toilet bowl. The Neo 110 sprayer is situated lower in the toilet bowl and nearer the water supply (but not in it). I'm not sure if it makes a difference in the real world, but I enjoy that the GenieBidet's sprayers are placed further away from the water in the toilet bowl.Reasons why you shouldn't use hot water in your bidetOnly cold water is used in the GenieBidet.

Let me start by saying that, just saying, if you can buy a $700 toilet seat, you have truly made it in this world.As you are aware, they produce specific bidets. There was no way to do that in our tiny bathroom. I examined numerous bidet toilet seats. A budget cardiac pacemaker or a cheap parachute are comparable to purchasing a cheap bidet toilet seat. You're not going to be pleased with it, most likely. So, even after you buy a high-end bidet toilet seat and get over the sticker shock, you still need to install it.You must first remove the old toilet seat. Typically, this is a simple task. My old toilet seat was determined to continue its struggle. I eventually prevailed without destroying the toilet even though the seat bolts were rusty and you nearly had to stand on your head to see what you were doing.It appears from the video or instructions that our home is the only one without an electrical outlet adjacent to the toilet and next to the water supply line. Instead of spending an additional $300 on this wife-driven disaster project, I reasoned that I could avoid hiring an electrician by running an extension wire from the outlet close to the sink and mirror, threading it behind the vanity, and smuggling the plugs behind the same. Okay, my wife is not unaware that I should have purchased a nice, pretty white extension chord (patiently waiting for the right moment to drop that bombshell). There are installation videos on YouTube, and the instructions are rather simple. The water must be turned off at the cutoff, the toilet flushed, a few hoses disconnected, fittings added, hoses reconnected, water turned on, leaks checked, and then the device plugged in. You only need one or two adjustable wrenches. This would have been very simple if not for my old toilet seat, which was desperately trying to survive.This is the pinnacle of toilet seats with bidets. Your..... is being squirted with warm water. It's 15 degrees in Fairfax, Virginia, where I'm writing this review. The outside water that enters our home is approximately around 40 degrees. I don't want to wake up in the morning with ice-cold water shooting up my kazoo. The water being warmer is beneficial. The heated seat itself maintains a comfortable temperature. To prevent you from unintentionally spraying water all over your bathroom, the seat has a sensor that detects when you are actually seated. This trait is advantageous.The Princess, my wife, won't ever read a user manual. For my part, I read them twice—once before installation and once more during startup. Not my Nile Queen, though. She will sit on the can and use the included remote to push every button until she figures it out through trial and error. She thinks in a tactile, hands-on way.Our only problem right now is figuring out where to attach the bracket or holder for the remote control. This may never be decided, as Her Highness is left-handed and I am right-handed.The item's value is $700. That all depends on how highly you hold domestic peace in regard.

It's difficult to know where to begin with all the positive things I have to say about this product. Historically speaking, I first used a bidet at work. The TOTO Washlet S350e Elongated Bidet Toilet Seat with Auto Open and Close and ewater Sanitization, Cotton White - SW584#01 is put in the restroom for our neighborhood. The C100 has all the characteristics that truly matter, despite the fact that I won't be directly comparing it to the S350e.Our pediatrician advised us to buy one for our house as a help for one of our kids who has struggled with constipation for a long. TOTO was the only brand I would take into consideration for the house after using it at work and seeing the quality of the product. The C100 has a reasonable pricing for the features it offers. Yes, there are some brands that provide slightly more for less money, but for me, the TOTO brand's familiarity was crucial.Since all of the features are listed in the product standard, I don't think it's necessary to go through them here, but I do think it's vital to note that this unit has two different types of rear washes. The first is a "normal" rear cleaning, which uses a more direct water stream, and the second is a "soft" rear cleaning, which somewhat fans the water out. Both may be configured to oscillate with the push of a button, and depending on your body type, the nozzle can be easily moved forward or backward. Those who struggle with constipation may find relief from regular back cleansing and oscillation. Both the regular and soft give a good clean, however I think it's important to mention in case somebody needs it for this purpose.The installation of the machine went smoothly overall. The instructions were quite simple and contained everything required to ply the device. The controls will become second nature to you after a few uses, which is convenient since there is no remote to misplace, drop, or damage.It's crucial that you do not rock back and forth on the toilet seat because the unit attaches to a base plate that is installed there. Don't get me wrong, you can make the adjustment yourself, but if you have active kids, you might want to install this on a toilet they can't get. Additionally, the seat's angle has a 250-pound weight restriction (call TOTO support to confirm).In general, this is a fantastic unit. I'm quite happy with this toilet seat overall. I like that there is a heating feature and that I will use a lot less toilet paper. When the chilly Midwest winter arrives, the warm seat will be quite welcome. I hope the following observations may be beneficial to others:Some details that are not immediately apparent when reading the description or viewing the photographs include: -The size of the toilet seat's "seat" portion appears to be considerably smaller than that of a typical extended toilet seat. In comparison to a regular elongated seat, the size of the rear tank forces you forward on the toilet by a good 3 inches. It gets bigger till it resembles a spherical toilet seat. Both the lid and the seat include a slow-close feature. Men incur the risk of loudly slamming the seat down because certain seats only slowly close with the lid. This is unique since the lid and seat both have controlled closing mechanisms. Nicely done.-Between the water source and the reservoir tank is a water filter. I'm not sure how long it should last before it needs to be replaced, if at all. The manufacturer advises against using toilet cleaning agents and simply a moist cloth to clean it.-If you are not seated on the seat, the blower and water features are not activated. If you live with children, this is nice.Comments on installation: -The seat fastens to the toilet by sliding onto a mount that is fastened to the standard holes for toilet seat mounts. Then, it locks into position. Since the electrical wire is in the center of the back of the seat, either a left- or right-side outlet can be used with it. It has three grounded prongs and is around 46" long. Plumbing tape is not provided, although it is required for installation to stop leaks. It is a 50 cent item that ought to be put in the package by default.I did not give five stars because: -Your backside never seems to get entirely dry in the dryer. There is always some water left over and at least some toilet paper is required. (See UPDATE dated 04.21.2017)-With the aid of a flexible hose, the water supply line is connected perpendicularly to the side of the seat. This leaves a hose loop that can be seen clearly on the seat's control side (See my uploaded photo). It is obvious from the product photo of the modern bathroom that plumbing is not installed. If that picture was taken of a functioning BB-600, hoses would be all over the place. To make the hose enter from the front rather than the side, I believe I will look for a 90-degree elbow adapter. I kid you not. Lol! I started working straight away since I was too eager to read through the two pages of instructions, but I soon ran across a problem. I was unable to finish the installation since I had a rigid tube feeding into my toilet tank. So, I departed for Lowe's!When I arrived at my neighborhood Lowe's, Keith, a kind employee who works in the plumbing department, instantly provided me with what I needed. I paid the cashier (making sure to use my military service discount), hurried off for home, and picked up just where I left off. And let me tell you, setup was simple.When I tested the bidet nozzles with the lid open after adjusting the hoses and making sure there were no leaks, I was impressed! Water sprayed out of my toilet bowl, across the entire bathroom, and up against my wall! The two words that best characterize my feelings at the time are impressed and excited. This bidet is capable of cleaning! A true jet stream of CLEAN, that is!Once I was certain that clean, clear water was flowing through the lines, I sat down in my rightful spot atop the throne and tested it out. Wow. The controls on the C100 are affixed to the seat.Pros: 1) 99.99% of the time cleans flawlessly.2) The water pressure can be changed.3) You can change the water's temperature.4) The position of the spray wand is movable. You can also set it to oscillate, and while spraying, it moves back and forth.5) Ability to turn on or off the seat heating.6) The activated charcoal filter canister's 99.99% removal efficiency is astounding! Electronic odor control is stated in the product details. I believed it might be ozone-based (which is not good for health). After six months, the odor control is still flawless.7) The spray wand always self-cleans before being inserted again. I was initially afraid that soiled water might be splashing onto the wand. However, because of the spray's angle, no unclean water ever comes in contact with the spray wand (imagine spraying a car at a 45-degree angle with a hose; the water does not shoot back at you!).8) When you sit on the toilet, the bowl pre-misting sprays water into the bowl. (You can disable this functionality.) Only the back half of the toilet bowl receives any benefit from the misting. Anyway, a bidet! Who would have ever imagined that one of these would be installed on our toilet? Not me! To be really honest, we only got it on a dare. I shared a picture of it on Facebook and asked folks whether they thought I should give one a try. Observe this! My family appears to enjoy it, so I ordered it. We use a septic system, therefore my aim is that less toilet paper will be used.Although the hole is somewhat less than our regular extended seat, which I eliminated for this one, the seat is still pleasant. It is simple to use. The water pressure is adjusted by turning the handle. The contact point of the spray is adjusted by raising or lowering the handle. Three different spray heads are included. For us, the default one works.Although the installation is reasonably straightforward, I have a few reservations. Everything required for installation, minus a screwdriver and an adjustable wrench, is included with the unit. Cross-threaded fitting connections are simple to use. My connection at the seat was problematic. A filter is contained in a piece of plastic. There is no mention of this in the instructions, and the connection will not fit with the tiny plastic piece. I could finish the connection with the filter after removing the plastic peace. The possibility of the plastic fitting giving way at some point in the future worries me. I hope I'm mistaken.
