Despite never having one, I made the decision to get one in an effort to replicate those oh-so-comfortable hotel beds. I bought this cover, and I adore it. I found the inside corner ties on this duvet cover to be extremely useful. At first, I wasn't really sure what the ties were for, but then I saw the loops on the corners of the insert and realized they were there to keep the insert in place. I'm pleased I chose a cover with the ties because it seems like that may be a problem in any other case—the insert moving about or bunching up inside the cover.The cover is a lovely shade of gray that is neither quite charcoal nor quite light. The duvet cover closes with a robust zipper down the bottom, and as long as it's on your bed right-side up, you can't see the zipper pulls. I'm completely satisfied overall.This duvet cover's fabric is its best feature; the Sleep Zone cooking technology actually works! Even with a thicker duvet insert inside, this duvet cover appears cool in the middle of a blazing summer day.

When I initially came across it, there weren't any reviews, so I was afraid to try it, but I'm glad I did!I've owned the duvet cover for about a month, and the following are my initial impressions:The bedding was wrapped with a small bow when the box arrived on schedule; sometimes the simple things make a difference.It appears just as it does in the pictures.I adore that my comforter can be attached with the tiny ties inside the corners.The zipper closing is so much simpler than buttons, and it also has a nicer appearance.My two dogs always wrestle on my bed (they're big dogs, a pit bull and a boxer), and the fabric is completely resistant to their play. There have not been any tears, and there won't be.Although the color is somewhat darker and warmer than off-white, it is still what I anticipated from the photographs.It's quite cozy to sleep on this material.This is something I'll cherish for a very long time. White Watch Colors in plaid are considerably more vibrant than I had anticipated. Delicates were washed as directed (inside out), dried on a line, and then fluffed (without heat) in the dryer. My down comforter is currently covered in yards of opulent, top-notch flannel.This duvet's craftsmanship is of the finest calibre, and I checked the buttons and seams while it was hanging in the open air. It even has ties in each of the four corners to prevent the down comforter from bunching up. There was no sign of pilling, and the dryer only had a small amount of lint shedding. There wouldn't be much need for softener because the flannel is so soft. I'm overjoyed. I'm so pleased that I will purchase another in a different pattern.

My allergy to dust mites are quite bad. I've had this cover on my duvet for approximately 8 months, and it has helped a lot! I have occasionally had to start taking allergy medication as the spring has started to hit us hard here, but it's nothing like it was at this time last year. My current allergist advised me to get dust mite coverings for my bedding after I experienced a series of allergy reactions last spring/summer that included terrible rashes on my lips and that numerous specialists were unable to diagnose. This duvet and some pillowcase coverings I have both worked wonders for me! Though I'm delaying till I move, I still need to get a mattress cover. Anyway, I haven't had any problems with it being too warm or making strange noises, rustling, etc.; in fact, I hardly even know it's there. I do use a duvet cover over it, and occasionally, more so than it did before this dust mite cover, the duvet may bunch or slide toward the bottom. However, a good shaking out usually fixes that problem pretty fast. Although I should have tried to wash it already, I haven't felt the urge to. Next month, I might try to wash it and report back after doing so.In the end, I suggest this to anyone who uses a duvet and has a dust mite allergy. Although it's not tremendously inexpensive, it is far less expensive than the dermatologists and allergists I had to visit. Purchase this plus some pillowcase covers if you're struggling, and maybe they'll help you too.

I was a little dubious because, in the high end duvet covers I've purchased in the past (Brooklinen, etc.), they always masked the comforter's texture or added weight, but not this one! The duvet comforter was just as soft as the buffy comforter the moment I opened it. I believe it is worthwhile to invest in a duvet if you want to prolong the life of your comforter. While we slept, it still felt airy and comfortable. I must admit that even though I sleep warmly, the cover didn't help. Additionally, it was extremely simple to open the buttons, and the comforter is absolutely secure inside the duvet. Very worthwhile!
