It's a decent indoor mini-basketball hoop, in my opinion. I'll comment on a few evaluations I've read: the rim slides too much, it's difficult to fit it over the door, it weighs too little for a tiny basketball, and it's inexpensive. The rim does move, but not nearly as significantly as some have claimed; however, it is an indoor rim that you can simply slap on top of your top hoop rather than a professionally mounted indoor rim mounted to your walls. Two, while not fitting your huge door, this setup fits on top of most regularly used inside doors. You shouldn't be upset about this, but it is important to note. I was also unaware that the little basketball actually required real air. Instead it being a cheap foam basketball, I thought it was cool. So, yes, you need an air pump, but the majority of parents of athletes likely already own one. If you're nickel and diming this, perhaps you shouldn't have bought it. The Mini Basketball weighs a lot, which is actually extremely significant. I don't think it's appropriate for many indoor spaces with vases, glass coffee tables, or wall paintings. I spent $5 on a Chicago Bulls tiny basketball that was 2-3 inches in diameter and cotton filled (I was from Chicago for 99% of my life, but I recently moved out). In conclusion, how much did you pay for this? Some folks are acting as though something came from China for $100 with a lifetime guarantee. The bottom line is that it works for what it is. This review may seem jerky, but some of the complaints department comments I read were just ludicrous.

When I was looking for a goal for our house, I had a few needs (goals) in mind. First, I just wanted to spend $500 or less. Second, I wanted it to be almost as playable as a gymnasium because my son plays on a trip team. This goal offers just a little bit more flexibility than a tempered glass gym backboard. We had gone through SO MANY over the door basketball hoops that I had to look for one that was more durable before I came with this one. I'm so glad I did! Since we've had it for around 3 or 4 months, it has endured daily abuse from 2 large teenagers without a single tear. The fact that they constantly play on it and are so rough and loud is actually rather aggravating, but I have to admit, this hoop is one tough hoop! It is hung in our upstairs hallway. They should have been able to shatter it, I'm stunned! With a new rim and net, it makes a good replacement. This one might not be for you if what you're looking for is a rock-solid, non-movement one. Keep in mind that this one is made of plastic. It still looks nice and hasn't distorted after being up for a year. It is preferable to purchase a replacement for the cost of a rubbish item from Walmart rather than spending a lot of money on an expensive one.This is a little bit above average in terms of quality, in my opinion.In the event that a friend doesn't have hundreds of dollars to spend, I would suggest this as a replacement.

My situation was as follows: I already had a pole in the ground at the time I purchased the residence. I figured I'd just get the goal and backboard. I researched extensively about Spalding, Porter, Lifetime, and any other company I could find online. I purchased it for my children because the reviews on it appeared favorable and the pricing was fair (I firmly think that you get what you pay for) (and myself). Spalding's U-turn lift system was also purchased. The Spalding uturn lift system was really easy to install, and I thought the instructions were clear. You're good to go if you know how to use a wrench or socket. The lift system then rises; it looks good and takes an hour to complete. My friend assisted me in connecting the lift system's backboard. It took him 20 minutes to install it while I supported it from a step ladder. It felt quite robust. Attached rim and net took 15 minutes to complete. Simply carry out the instructions for everything. My kids started playing right away, and the rest of the day was spent shooting hoops. After three days, I have myself attempted 100 good rebound and bank shots. Strong rim, excellent net. Purchase this.
