Excellent replacement for a damaged Spalding spring-loaded rim (has plastic curved cover over spring with NBA logo sticker). I needed mounting holes that measured 3" on each side and 2-3/4" from top to bottom. This rim fit perfectly for that gap and has slots that allow for a vertical or horizontal adjustment of around 3/4". The provided bolts were too lengthy and interfered with the goal's movable mount, which was the only drawback. I only used the bolts I already had.

Revision 2018It has been four years since I bought and placed this rim on my Lifetime Basketball hoop, which is now in April 2018. It is still functioning well. The paint is still in robust, immaculate shape, and has not peeled. In contrast to the nets on my previous rim and soccer goal, the net that arrived with this rim is also in good condition. I don't feel bad about the purchase.initial evaluationThe base of my basketball hoop was chopped or perforated during a mowing accident. During windy days or storms, the water slowly drained and the objective fell multiple times. I can use my Lifetime 1588 XL Hoop well with this rim. In comparison to the orange and glossy paint, the black hue and matte paint texture are an improvement. At 12 pounds, it is substantial. All of the accompanying bolts, nuts, and springs are of superior quality and more durable than those in my original arrangement. I've now patched up the cut, added 500 pounds of sand to the base, and mounted the new rim. I straightened out all the bent pieces that were a result of the hoop falling, and now it looks brand new. You won't find this rim for less than $39.99 with free shipping anywhere.
