These are what I bought to attach USBs to, and they work great for that. But I had to use one of these in the interim because I foolishly purchased a smartphone wallet that wasn't equipped with a strap, and I don't trust it for that. As they are probably intended for light purposes, I would only use these for such. (I don't really use it to hold the phone, but I need something to fill the strap hole until a replacement arrives for aesthetic reasons.)Please make all the hues gem tones; that's my small pet peeve. I purchased these to match the hot pink USBs I had to utilize red with. Additionally, the green doesn't go well. Which annoys me in a way that is moderately OCD-like, but not in a trivializing way. Rather, it bothers me in the way that says, "I have a therapist to talk to about this, and I may have to get new lanyards that match better because this really worries me."So honestly, think of darker pink, purple, and green. I've been hunting on Amazon for a fashionable lanyard to replace the boring, solid-colored ones. Eventually, I saw this one and fell in love with the "Duo" Color, which is quite unique but not overly garish.The Chain/Clip is sturdy, thus I doubt it will break quickly in the upcoming year or two. It also contains a lot.The clip can be a little challenging to open at first, if that is a drawback at all. Additionally, there is a tiny opening for your belongings (as pictured above). I don't find it bothersome, but you could!2. Unlike some other lanyards I've used in the past, this one's fabric quality is good and it won't rub up against your skin and cause rashes or itching, nor will it snag on any of the fine hairs on the back of your neck.3: The color is precisely as shown. There was no strange residue, bizarre colors, or other strangeness present. I was rather shocked because I assumed it would be a different hue! Now that we are required to wear ID badges on lanyards, I decided to choose this little gem since I wanted something a little fancier than the basic grey one we received from our workplace experience team.This has incredibly excellent build quality. We each had a park ticket and a quick pass, so I bought them to use in a theme park. It worked well and made rapid work of scanning the tickets because we could face them out on both sides. The only issue we encountered was trying to close them after opening them. The holders are a little difficult to open at first, so we assumed we had sealed them back. However, after that, they appeared to be much simpler to open, leading us to wonder if they were actually sealing back or not. Fortunately, we didn't ride any water rides to test their watertightness, but we did get stuck in a brief downpour, and the tickets held up just fine. Overall, I'd use them once more.

I just replaced my old school-issued lanyard with this one, though I'm not sure if it is a "genuine Vera Bradley" lanyard as some other reviews have claimed. Although the cloth is not as soft as the one in my Vera Bradley purse, it feels more sturdy. I like how small the band is. Both the key ring and the clip seem sturdy.
