Best Baby Stroller Sun Protection in 2020

Manito Sun Shade for Strollers and Car Seats (Black) UPF 50+ Review:

I have a Graco Fast Action Jogger which has a large visor but it doesn't come forward enough. I have the tangerine/orange accents model and the orange sun shade matches well.

The shade fits well, the only problem I ran into was not being about to have the shade all the way forward but the fault is with the stroller. The visor doesn't lock in its extended position and it easily folds back on its own. I just position the shade a bit further back and it works great.

This keeps the sun off my very fair skinned daughter and she can still see out plenty below it. Even when the sun in lower in the sky, she's protected.

The shade is very light weight and comes with a mesh case which is necessary if you need to remove it. It's folds up easily into the case and takes up very little room.

I would highly recommend this product.

Stroller Sun Shade and Blackout Blind for Strollers (0-6m) | UPF50+ | Breathable and Universal fit | SnoozeShade Original - Best-Selling Safety Green Trim Review:

My beautiful blue eyed baby hated taking walks. He would cry, fuss, squint, and be generally miserable. I would inevitably hang some sort of blanket or fabric over the front of the stroller so he could open his eyes while outside. I kept a plethora of clothespins in the stroller to try to fasten the fabric down, which never worked as well as I wanted. I figured there had to be a better way. Maybe something dark so we could take evening walks before bed to help relax him. After an emergency visit to the eye doctor for me where I find out I have callouses forming on my eyes caused by dryness and UV, I decide I need to have something to protect my baby for our walks.

I find this sun shade and am little hesitant in the price, but love all the features. Breathability, the zipper to peek at baby, various ways to position it and use on many strollers. After a week or so, baby can sit up better and we are enjoying morning walks in the cool of the day but the sun is shinning right in his face, I decide to take the plunge and buy the shade. Why don't I buy these things sooner???

It works wonderfully. I recommend watching the videos to see how to use it with your stroller. I have a 3 wheeled jogging stroller and it fit pretty well fully covering the front. The shade that comes with the stroller has a tendency to get pulled a bit with the sunshade, but I have also moved the stroller shade around a lot so it may be looser than usual.

I mostly use the sunshade as a longer extension of the stroller shade. I keep the top velcro loops attached to the bars on each side and drape the sunshade over once baby is in and buckled and fasten the bottom two velcro straps to the cup holder tray. This pulls the shade down very far but leaves a little viewing spot for baby to see through. It works wonderfully for morning walks once the sun is 1/3 of the way up. If the sun is lower I have to strap the sunshade down completely in front. Same for our summer evening walks.

Baby has not complained once, he barely squints anymore and can usually get a good view of the world through the bottom crack between the sunshade and stroller. We've been out on some hot days and I have not worried about him overheating, although it will be a little warmer in there because the breeze is blocked.

Only "negatives" (not really just things to keep in mind when using). 1. You have to put baby in stroller before putting shade in final position. The zipper is not long enough to fit a minature kitten through let alone a baby. Somehow I thought it would be. 2. Definitely get in the habit of ALWAYS fastening the velcros together so the hooks will not snagg the fabric because they do, VERY easily. It's habit for me now, so I don't even notice, but on a windy day the fabric will get snagged as you undo the loops if you don't fasten them right away.

Buy this shade, it works beautifully, is easily transportable, and will help protect and soothe your baby!

SnoozeShade Plus Stroller Sun Cover (6m+) | UV Sunshade for Baby Strollers & Joggers | Universal Fit for 3 & 4 Wheelers | Blocks 99% of The Sun's Rays Review:

We finally got a chance to use this SnoozeShade Plus and we really love it. We have a Graco Fast Action Fold Click Connect stroller and the SnoozeShade fits pretty great. It was very easy to attach to the stroller. There is an extra strap on each side that you don't need to attach to the stroller (but really you can't connect it because there's no opening on the stroller for you to be able to attach it. The straps are there to accommodate different stroller designs so for our stroller, we didn't need to use them). The only down side is that the front of the SnoozeShade doesn't cover the front foot part of the stroller though like it would on a stroller with the three-wheel design/jogging stroller; it just can't pull down far enough so you have to just tuck your baby's feet into the SnoozeShade. The mesh allows for proper air flow and baby can look out at the world while being protected from the sun, bugs, dust kicked up by the wind and falling leaves. The snooze panel is also quiet to zip up to give baby more privacy when he/she falls asleep. So we recommend this product but do wish the front section could accommodate the foot part of our stroller.

SnoozeShade Plus Deluxe | Universal fit sun shade for strollers | 360-degree sun and UV protection | Sleep shade and mosquito net | Recommended for 6m+ Review:

I bought this because we have season passes to Busch Gardens and Water Country and I have the whitest white baby of all time. Most strollers don't have adequate sun coverage. And even if they do, try convincing a toddler to keep his legs tucked in and out of the sun. Sure, you can always lather up the sunscreen every hour....OR you can just ZIP!

I love love love the convenience of zipping up the black mesh screen to give him total protection from the sun. It's especially great in those morning evening hours when the sun is directly in their eye line. It also allows me to apply sunscreen and then keep him covered until it has set in and he's ready to be exposed.

The black out shade allows us to be out and about at nap time and I don't have to worry about him being too distracted. The zipper at the top was brilliant so that I can check to see if he's asleep without waking him up. When you don't want to use the black out shade or the sun protecting mesh then both fold up into a little pocket and button securely in.

The shade is so lightweight and convenient that I can leave it on my stroller when it is completely folded down. I imagine this shade will fit any stroller. It doesn't look as perfect on mine as it does in the pictures but it does the trick. There are about 5 straps on each side that you snap on wherever works for your stroller. I have used it on a Graco click connect and a Chicco liteway. It took some adjusting and playing with to find the right placement, but it worked great for both.

Seriously, the peace of mind of knowing that your sweet baby's skin is protected from the sun is so worth it.

YLYYCC Baby Stroller Sunshade/Stroller Umbrella/Uv Protection Umbrella 360 Degrees Adjustable Direction Stroller Accessories Review:

I got this stroller sunshade for our single stroller for our infant who is still in a car carrier so that he can be completely out of the sun. Well I was very surprised at just how large this umbrella is and decided to use it on our double stroller. The hardware it comes with is a little confusing because it order for you to attach it, you have to take out a long bolt but then you have to try to angle it back in once you have the unit in place. I wish it was a little easier to mount.

Dreambaby Clip On Sun Shade with UV Indicator Review:

For the price, I'm perfectly happy with this. We use it on our baby's carseat and on her strollers.

As some have said, it's no use in windy situations, because it's not a super rigid arm and the clamp isn't super strong. Unless you can somehow secure it, it will flop around in the wind. I have used it in windy situations before by tucking part of it into the stroller. This works when the sun is coming in from the side, but not straight ahead. So far it hasn't been a problem though.

We've taken it on many walks, and it really makes things a lot easier to keep the sun out of our daughter's eyes. Same with in the car.

Considering the price versus other devices of the same purpose, this is an absolute steal. I like the compact, low profile design, and that it folds up nicely to stay out of the way when not in use.

If you're looking for a sun blocker for your car seat/stroller you can't go wrong with this, unless you live in a very windy area.

Sun Shade for Strollers (Long). Universal Adjustable SPF 30+ Sunshade with See Through. Your Baby Will See the World and Will Be Protected. by IntiMom Review:

I am so close to wanting to give this 5 stars. I really love it...it is extremely adorable and well made...stays on nicely...love that it clips and ties on! i was so happy to find this "style" of a sun shade for my daughters stroller. My one and only complaint is that i wish it was a little longer! Its perfect because it blocks the sun from shining directly in her face (the biggest priority) ...however, when i tie the 2 bottom ties, it blocks the leg area so as she grows her legs will need to pop out and I'll have to figure out where else to tie it. This is Def not a deal breaker and this style is so much nicer than throwing a huge ugly net over top of the whole stroller! It would be really cool to see this product offered in 2 styles..one being larger specifically for strollers. I wish i had this while my daughter was in her infant car seat so i could have used it for that too... It's awesome that its so versatile but for my current and future needs, a little longer would make this a 5 star, 100% perfect product!

Zcargel Adjustable Umbrella Stand Holder Baby Stroller UV Protection Clip-On Sun Canopy Parasol Holder Review:

I love it..I am surprise how use full it is for rainy days and for that sun rays... it is just amazing..any size if umbrella is good to go with it.just one issue I find little annoying that that the place where you have to secure it with the stroller that is small opening so we had to improvise a little..just bought 2 long screws from home depot..they help alot...so now it's just perfect....
