The First Years First Rattle Review:

This rattle is a favorite of my toddler! The ideal toy to give her as she drifts off to sleep has been this one. She enjoys using a toy to help her fall asleep, but when she's having trouble falling asleep, she swings the toy around and occasionally bangs her head with it, so I purchased her this one. It is the ideal size for her little hands. She won't injure herself because it is soft enough. Since she won't take a pacifier, she enjoys sucking on the tiny hands and feet while she tries to fall asleep.

Bright Starts Rattle and Shake Barbell Rattle Review:

I have 3 kids that are 7, 4, and 7 months old. These rattles belonged to all of my kids! Due to its low cost and outstanding quality, I purchased one for my first child and one for each of my subsequent children. It is lightweight and incredibly simple for young hands to grab onto, as many others have noted. Thanks to the handles, I believe it makes the ideal first rattle. My young children were able to hold onto them at such a young age! I thought it was promoting early hand coordination development. One word of caution: If you give it to them when they're young, they WILL hit their faces with it! However, because the plastic is so light, my kids never seemed to be bothered by it.Also worth mentioning is that I still have three of these rattles in my home. My first one is still going strong after 7 years! I just bought new ones for the following two kids because they weren't too expensive to be hand-me-downs! Consequently, this item is quite robust!

VTech Baby Rattle and Sing Puppy Review:

Definitely one of our favorite toys. Although our son adores everything that lights up and I was seeking for an interactive rattle-like toy, we didn't want to cave in to the temptation of electronic toys. Although the black parts are made of a softer rubbery material that makes them GREAT for chewing on and the beads do generate just enough noise to be apparent but not unpleasant, the bottom rattle part is very lackluster because the middle rod is difficult to grasp for young hands. Cause and effect are two concepts that are very well taught by this toy. It was over when we demonstrated to our son that shifting the beads on the central rod would activate the sounds and illuminate the puppy's cheeks. He's loved it and has been batting at it since he was two months old. Now that he's three months old, he's trying to grab at it, chew on the rattle, and desperately try to use his tiny fingers to click the button on the collar that starts more complex melodies. If you're searching for something that has the appeal and allure of an electronic toy but isn't completely devoid of any developmental engagement or motor skill development, I'd highly recommend this.Oh, and it eventually times out, which is helpful in case the baby falls asleep with it or if you unintentionally kick it in the middle of the night after leaving it on the floor.

iPlay, iLearn 10pcs Baby Rattles Teether, Shaker, Grab and Spin Rattle, Musical Toy Set, Early Educational Toys for 3, 6, 9, 12 Month Baby Infant, Newborn Review:

These toys have since become a success. He shared turns with each of them throughout the entire night. I'm happy to report that after much "wearing in," they are fairly sturdy.I'm over the moon about my purchase! It's wonderful that there are sensory toys available on the market. They even make me laugh. For the past 25 years, my brother, who has developmental problems, has played with children's toys. It works out well for everyone when toys have many uses since he likes them and we like them when they're more quiet. I can't speak to their durability because we haven't had them very long and he won't be receiving them till Christmas. However, they appear strong. I would repurchase this!

VTech Baby Lil' Critters Moosical Beads Amazon Exclusive, Purple Review:

adorable toy Be mindful of the dimensions because it's small, but it's still entertaining. It's an ideal size for tiny infants. My 5-month-old son can pick this up and put it in his mouth with ease (lol). The middle blue piece rotates into place, and there are two volume settings and two "buttons" that produce noises and songs. The rear has the battery compartment, and the side has two components he may move back and forth in position. However, be careful because my son appears to like to enter the battery compartment. After a minute or so if you do not interact with the toy, it will say three phrases to grab the baby's attention before turning itself off. That feature is nice. I wholeheartedly endorse this.

SmartNoggin NogginStik Developmental Light-Up Rattle - Encourage Developmental Milestones from Infant - 12 months Review:

Please, please, please do not be deterred by this little toy's "large" price. It is completely worthwhile. Since I invested time and work into this review, if Amazon is urging you to "Hurry only (insert low number here) left," stop reading, order at least one, and then return to complete reading about your purchase. It's a fantastic toy. In the end, we bought three—one each for the house, the car, and the diaper bag. Medically incurable focal seizures affect our son almost daily. They are not light-related, and he frequently manages to reduce or stop them when playing with toys. Although it would be fantastic for any infant, this toy has been our go-to for managing his seizures. When used in the dark, the head lights up and alternates between red, green, and blue; it is rather bright, but not so bright as to harm a baby's eyes. The rattle emits a pleasant, joyful sound similar to the mild shaking of a largely empty tic tac box. Unlike many toys whose plastic mirrors resemble cheap warped fun house mirrors that nearly scratch themselves when you stare at them, this mirror is genuinely deserving of its name. In a pinch, I suppose you could even line your eyelids with it.I can't speak to battery life because we've just had our first one for a little over a week, but the batteries are removable. There is no method to turn off the lights, which change with tapping or moving of the toy (the light turns off on its own after sitting still for around 30 seconds but turns back on with little movement... I haven't actually timed it, and I'm currently holding my sleeping baby, so I wouldn't dare go grab it, so don't quote me on the time.) You'll probably need to replace them sooner rather than later if you keep them in your diaper bag at all times. The handle is the ideal size for my now five-month-old kid, and both the black and white base and the "handle" portion have beautiful rubbery raised patches. We've dropped it in terms of durability, of course. Never falling from a height greater than three feet, but on hard surfaces like wood and even uncarpeted restaurant flooring (I suppose concrete), he has survived his falls with little damage. To my dismay, I even dropped him today on a cracked concrete parking garage, but when I picked up Mr. Nogginstick, he only had three tiny little spots scattered across his face. They are hard to spot, didn't appear to alter the plastic's integrity, and the plastic remained clear rather than developing a white cast in the damaged region, as clear plastic frequently does. Please keep in mind that we have only had this item for a week after reading the above.I genuinely appreciate this toy and how well it was made for my son in particular. Since he loves it so much, I really wish I had thought of it.Check out the OBall after purchasing your Nogginstick (or two); for smaller babies, I recommend starting with the original. Even for children who don't comprehend gripping very well, it's so light and simple to hold.) The Sassy wonder wheel is another idea I have.

Oball Kids Shaker Toy Review:

I bought this for our 2 month child at 6 weeks to start working on her gross and fine motor strength and her cognitive skills after reading all of the excellent reviews and learning about how simple it is for babies to hold. She was having trouble holding things in her hands, and this rattle more than lived up to its reputation as being simple to handle. When she was nine weeks old, she first showed a genuine interest in using it, but now she will bring it to her mouth and hold it in both hands (10 weeks)Positive aspects include the reasonable pricing, the size, the ease of portability, and the attractive appearance.Cons: The rattle isn't too loud. To make any sound, you must shake ferociously. Some newborns might not find this stimulating enough, and some might find the necessary motion upsetting. My recommendation is to move the rattle softly to demonstrate to your baby that they can make the noise. Practice showing your infant this rattle every day for a few minutes, and support them by gently placing it in an open hand. It could take some time, but persevere! They'll finally arrive there! This rattle might not be loud enough for your infant, who is likely more of a sensory seeker.

Baby Einstein Bendy Ball Rattle Toy, Ages 3 months + Review:

Despite not being her favorite toy, the baby enjoys playing with this. I really believe that every American infant has the same 10 or so toys, and this is unquestionably one of them. This is likely due to the ease with which it can be found on Amazon and the fact that it is less expensive than other sensory toys. a good educational item that is affordable. However, I wish it were a little softer and more malleable. Given that the ball is smaller than other developing toys, it would make a suitable choice for travel. Additionally, the cost is so low that you can buy a pair and leave one at grandma's or the babysitter's house. I hope this review helped you gain some understanding of the product; if it did, please click YES where it asks, "Was this review useful to you?"

Manhattan Toy Classic Baby Beads Wood Rattle, Teether, and Clutching Toy Review:

This review (and image) is intended to assist customers like me who are comparing the Manhattan Toy and Haba versions of these toy beads. I was dissatisfied with the size of the Haba beads because, in my opinion, the Manhattan Toy beads are the genuine article that I have seen in shops and friends' houses.Manhattan Toy Beads: —Each ball is larger in size —There are more balls —More colors and a smooth finish —Well-made —The size and movement of the beads entertain both adults and children —They are generally large (bigger than my hand) —My 11-month-old like it and can use both hands to play with it with ease.smaller beads — Haba beadsfewer beads strung together —Less vibrant, two purples are near to each other (which annoyed me), and some beads had color distortions—Although it seemed well-built, its tiny size made it less enjoyable to play with —fits well in a baby's little hands, but as they get older, they might not be as enjoyable.I'd recommend the Manhattan Toy beads if you're searching for something that will keep you entertained for years. The reduced size of the Haba version makes it less fun to play with, but it will fit well in a diaper bag.
